00:00Hey everyone and welcome back to our story corner.
00:06Today we've got a classic tale about a very clever fox and a slightly too-prod crow.
00:14Our story begins with a fox who was starving for two whole days, not a single bite to eat.
00:22As she wandered near a city, feeling weak, she spotted a crow perched on a branch.
00:30And what did this crow have? A big, delicious piece of bread.
00:37The fox's mouth started watering instantly.
00:42Thinking fast, the fox decided to use a little flattery.
00:47Oh, brother crow, she called out, you are the most beautiful bird I've ever seen.
00:55Your feathers are so glossy and black, and your voice, I've heard, it's sweeter than any flute.
01:03I would be so honoured if you would sing just one song for me.
01:09The crow, hearing all this praise, puffed up his chest with pride.
01:15He just had to show off his amazing voice.
01:20He opened his beak wide to let out a loud caw, and plop!
01:26The bread tumbled right out and fell to the ground.
01:31The fox snatched it up and ran off, leaving the foolish crow with nothing but his own pride.
01:39What do you think is the lesson here?
