Jamie Lee Curtis is pledging to donate $1 million towards the relief efforts for the devastating wildfires across L.A. The actress wrote on Instagram: "As the fire still rages on and @calfire @losangelesfiredepartment and all the available first responders and agencies involved in fighting fire and saving lives are still hard at work and neighbors and friends are banding together to save each other, my husband and I and our children have pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there."

00:35Curtis spoke on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night, getting emotional and breaking down
00:40while discussing the extensive damage across the Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Santa Monica areas of the city.
00:45Literally the entire city of the Pacific Palisades is burning and, you know, I flew here last night.
00:52I was on a plane, started getting texts and it's gnarly, you guys.
00:58She continued,
00:59Obviously there have been horrific fires in many places.
01:02This is literally where I live.
01:04Everything, the market I shop in, the schools my kids go to, friends, many, many, many, many, many friends now have lost their homes.
01:11It's a really awful situation.
01:13The fires began in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday morning, forcing the evacuation of more than 30,000 residents.
01:20Firefighters are also currently battling six blazes, including the Eaton, Hearst, Lydia and Woodley fires in various areas of Los Angeles County.
