00:24The profession, until I was in my teens, it was more of a creative outlet that I, I did stage at a musical theater high school, musical theater, yeah, musical theater drama.
00:37The, this person is so unlike who I actually am.
00:43And then you get to explore and do the craziest things that you would never normally do.
00:48Choice, you just say yes to everything.
00:51Because you just want to work.
00:52Um, but as I've gotten older, it's really character dependent.
00:58Um, it has to be something that feels like it's challenging, like it's something I haven't done before.
01:04Something that's interesting and exciting and hopefully scary because I, that's a barometer.
01:09There's so much going on in the world that comedy, I feel like people just want to laugh and distract themselves and sort of get away from whatever's happening in their lives.
01:20So I do feel like both are important to me and all the people there was absolutely life-changing and really, really, really eye-opening.
01:28Amazing.
01:29I love hearing about philanthropic, uh, initiatives.
01:32Was this one of your, your first?
01:34I think it was, yeah, maybe one of my first, yeah.
01:37Uh, we're from different cultures, sort of backgrounds.
01:41I experienced their traditions and the foods and I was very lucky in that way to get to experience a little bit of everything.
01:49But my family also, um, I feel like I was really young and naive and impressionable and so was the character that I played Alayna.
01:57But as the show went on, I grew up and so did she and I had to play Catherine who was a psychotic, crazy person and I had to tap into that.
