Fans got to see a different side of Taylor Swift after Jimmy Fallon secretly joined forces with Swift's mom to debut a comical video of the singer during Thursday night's 'Tonight Show.'

00:06So we all know Taylor Swift's music can definitely get us emotional.

00:10But who knew what gets T-Swift all choked up is a banana?

00:14The singer was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night when the host decided

00:18to debut a hysterical video of Taylor sobbing over a banana.

00:22And boy was she in for an eye-opening surprise.

00:25Now don't be alarmed, she totally has a valid reason for this, you guys.

00:40So here's the deal, Taylor recently underwent LASIK surgery and Fallon managed to join forces

00:44with Swift's mom to sneak footage of her daughter's recovery.

00:47Which, by the way, was pretty on par with some of those viral YouTube videos of kids acting

00:51all loopy after getting their wisdom teeth removed.

00:55Taylor was pretty surprised by the whole thing and even jokingly called out her mom

01:08for airing the video on television.

01:10She was kind enough to drive me there but cruel enough to film it and give it to you.

01:15But it was all in good fun of course and Taylor laughed it off even explaining earlier in the

01:19show that the post-surgery haze is real, saying,

01:22they give you some hardcore pills after you have a laser in your eye.
