00:19To your hip hop roundup starting with Lil Nas X.
00:22The rapper recently told Drake to hold his horses and beat the Canadian rapper's single week streaming record.
00:29LNX's viral hit passed Drake's 106.2 million In My Feelings streams with 143 million Old Town Road streams.
00:38So, congrats to Lil Nas and Billy Ray.
00:41To Tekashi 6ix9ine, it feels like forever since we've talked about him.
00:44In a recent interview with both Vulture and Complex, Slovakian businessman Jaksha explained his indie label's plan to make 6ix9ine a success.
00:53So, all you SoundCloud rappers might want to run and grab a pen and paper.
00:56Don't worry, I'll wait.
00:58So, apparently the label created an off-kilter marketing plan they called from Europe back to America.
01:04Complex reports this plan revolved around 6ix9ine using eccentric imagery that's acceptable in the US to shock Eastern European audiences.
01:12After he generated publicity and money in the UK, they'd use that to hit big in the States.
01:17This type of plan isn't new for musicians, but if you didn't know, now you know.
01:21So, once your dreads finish growing and your face tats are all healed up, get a flight to Europe and start your fanbase over there.
01:27But, okay, sticking with 6ix9ine, as you know, the rapper's career went down in flames almost as fast as it started.
01:33And many people in the hip-hop community are upset with him for allegedly snitching while in custody.
01:38West Coast rapper YG debuted a new song for his crowd at Coachella called Stop Snitching and dedicated it to Tekashi, going as far as to display his mugshot in the background during the performance.
01:49But, alright, being locked up isn't stopping 6ix9ine from dropping new verses.
01:54Josiah dropped an official video for his song Case 19 and replaced Snot with the controversial rainbow hair in May.
02:01Let us know what you think of the track down below.
02:03And, speaking of new tracks, let's talk about Kodak Black's new one.
02:07If you didn't know, Kodak made some disrespectful comments on Lauren London after the passing of Nipsey Hussle,
02:13which upset a number of rappers and radio personalities.
02:16One of those rappers was T.I. who had this to say.
02:19Kodak Black, you out of pocket.
02:23Fix that shit.
02:26Quickly. Expeditiously, nigga.
02:29You out of pocket, nigga.
02:30Kodak titled his diss track, Expeditiously, in reference to that clip we just showed you.
02:36And, throughout the song, he touches on everyone criticizing him about Nipsey and saying they don't have the right to do so.
02:42Kodak also brings T.I.'s wife into the feud in one line and uses a gay slur when referencing T.I.'s son in an Instagram Live.
02:50It's one thing to beef with someone, but attacking their kids and their wife brings it to another level.
02:55But alright guys, hit that stop, like, and bell button.
