00:006ix9ine accuses billboard of cheating and everyone reacts.
00:07Hey guys, it's Devontae for Hollywood Life with your daily Takashi, but before we get
00:13to all of that, let's do a little recap.
00:16Since release from prison, Takashi has been completely taking over social media and solidifying
00:22the continuation of his already explosive career.
00:25And despite breaking the street code and causing a large selection of rappers to hate him,
00:30his popularity has only gone up.
00:32Most recently he released Gooba, a new song that pokes fun at all his haters and broke
00:36a handful of records in the process.
00:38With numbers like that, one would expect Gooba to shoot straight to the top with no questions
00:42asked, but things didn't go quite as planned and this caused Takashi to put on his detective
00:47hat.
00:48Last night, which is completely illegal, last night, last second, like last hour, Stuck
00:56With You by Ariana Grande submits 60,000 units out of nowhere, completely out of nowhere.
01:02They went from being fifth place to first place out of nowhere, right?
01:06With the investigation, we found this, they purchased half of those things with six credit
01:13cards.
01:14When we asked where was those six credit cards linked to, Billboard said we can't disclose
01:20that information.
01:21Billboard doesn't want no one to know this.
01:22Now I understand why Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj say, Billboard, like we used to look up to number
01:27one, I mean to Billboard, but now it's like we know you can, it's all manipulated, right?
01:33It's all fabricated, you can buy number ones.
01:35This is what these artists do.
01:37And even though Takashi is far from the first Billboard whistleblower, this little rant caused a lot
01:42of eyebrows to be raised amongst music fans.
01:44Adding to this, because Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's song was the main example used, the
01:49rant had a lot of people on social media looking at the pop icons a little sideways.
01:54Well Ariana reacted to 6ix9ine and all of the speculation in a very long Instagram caption
01:59that explained to fans that the numbers aren't a driving force in anything she does.
02:04From there, Ari expressed her gratitude and then dove headfirst into the drama.
02:08She said in part, my fans bought the song, Justin's fans bought the song, our fans bought
02:13this song, never more than four copies each as the rules state.
02:17They are ride or die MFers and I thank god every day that I have them in my life.
02:22Ari continued, sales count more than streams, you cannot discredit this as hard as you try.
02:27From there she subliminally asked 6ix9ine to humble himself and then directly congratulates
02:32him for getting the number three spot.
02:34In response, 6ix9ine took to Instagram to explain to Ariana why he can't just be humble and
02:39then compares what their lives were like pre-music career.
02:42Okay so we've touched upon how Ari feels about all of this, but it's also Justin Bieber's
02:47song too.
02:48JB reacted to the drama in an Instagram story and called 6ix9ine's six credit card theory
02:54a lot.
02:55He claimed the last minute 60,000 units that Takashi is mad about was because they don't
03:00report their numbers until the end of the week on purpose.
03:03In the end, JB expressed that it was an honor to work with Ari on the song and told Takashi
03:07quote, if you want to say her name, make sure you say mine too because it's our song.
03:12In response, 6ix9ine commented quote, say my name too with a skull emoji.
03:17But things didn't stop there because Ariana and Justin's manager Scooter Braun decided
03:22to throw in his two cents because he too has a phone with a keyboard.
03:26However, I'm not going to read or summarize Scooter's reaction because he basically just
03:31combined Justin and Ari's statements and sprinkled in some I'm so prouds.
03:36When it comes to how Billboard reacted, well there have been reports that they took down
03:406ix9ine's chart history.
03:41However, that doesn't seem to be true.
03:44The time of this recording, Takashi's page on Billboard is still active.
03:48But alright guys, make sure you hit that sub, like and bell button and stick with us for
03:52all the latest.
