Zak Crawley said England are delighted for Joe Root after he scored a century on day one of the second Test

00:00Yeah, we were chuffed for him. We were nervous for him for a long while before that and I think he was less nervous than us.

00:09He played brilliantly and we were just talking about it for ages before he even got there.

00:14And then obviously when he got there we were chuffed for him and so was everyone on the ground.

00:17I think it was a great moment.

00:19Have you had a chance to see him?

00:21Yeah, I saw him in the changing room. He's like you yourself, he's so humble.

00:24He's not trying to make too much of a deal of it, but I'm sure inside he's pretty delighted.

00:29I forget some of his hundreds, that's how many he's got later, but it's a phenomenal knock.

00:36Like I said, he was doing plenty when he first came in and he was so calm and he was so clear as well about how he wanted to go about it.

00:43Yeah, it has to be right up there. If you put everything into consideration, it's got to be one of his best.
