Artist paints Lakawon island to relive her joyful trip with close friends

Nornie shared this clip of her painting Lakawon Island, which holds a special corner in her memories.

''It was my first time visiting an island with my best friends, and the experience was unforgettable,'' she told WooGlobe.

''Every moment there was filled with laughter, adventure, and the simple joy of being surrounded by nature’s beauty.''

So she decided to bring that memory to life on canvas, painting the crystal-clear waters, and an endless sky that looked like a dream stretched in color.

''Standing there, I felt a sense of freedom unlike anything I had ever experienced—a freedom that comes from letting go of everyday worries and just embracing the present,'' she added.

''Through this painting, I wanted to capture not just the scenery, but the feeling of being there: the warmth of the sun, the soothing sound of the waves, and the happiness of sharing such a magical place with people you care about.''
