07:01I was kind of, like, a little bit of, like, an introvert.
07:03Just sort of keeping myself to myself.
07:05Part of me in ADHD means I could be talking to someone,
07:08have a conversation, ask them a question,
07:10and then I'll be off like that, like, looking at something else.
07:12So I've just got to keep active, always be doing something,
07:15like going to the gym or looking after myself.
07:20Girls will say, you're, like, a player or womaniser.
07:25But that's not really the case.
07:26I ended up getting into my first long-term relationship at 18.
07:33I was together for about five years.
07:35But it came to an end when she wanted different things.
07:40Probably my first heartbreak.
07:42The saddest I've been, wasn't really eating properly,
07:45didn't really go out for, like, four or five months.
07:48Eventually, I just looked at myself and thought,
07:50you've got to go out, you've got to go do stuff,
07:52and learn how to love myself again.
07:55I never really used to get that much attention.
07:57So when I started, like, dating again,
08:00I had, like, no fashion sense.
08:02I, like, definitely had to have a little bit of advice
08:03from my sisters of, like, what looked good, what was trendy.
08:06I didn't know. I'd have to, like, talk to girls.

11:26It made me feel sad.
11:28I thought he didn't really ever love me.
11:29So I was like, well, I must be the problem.
11:31So being in musical theatre and in acting, I was able to play characters
11:36and play other people that weren't me and be someone else for a bit.
11:40I feel like everybody needs love in their life.
11:44And I just want to feel like someone loves me just as much as I love them.
11:49And, you know, we're in it for the long run and in it together.
11:54Since I'm young enough to remember,
11:56I've dreamt of walking down the aisle in my big old wedding dress.
11:59It would mean everything for me to find love.
12:01I've been single for four years now and after years of getting with the wrong people,
12:08I've just totally given up on dating.
12:13I'm so desperate to meet someone and settle down and build a family.

13:54So when I was about 24, I ended up getting into a long-term relationship and getting engaged

13:59But things weren't adding up and things weren't right.
14:02And I think that's when I had seen that he had cheated on me.
14:05I did feel awful when I found out I cheated.
14:09It was horrible.
14:10Like, I did think I was going to spend the rest of my life with him, yeah.
14:13But every day was a battle in your own head.
14:15Like, where is he?
14:15Was he telling lies?
14:16You know, you didn't know where you stood ever.
14:19So after the breakup, I was heartbroken, but I was relieved.
14:22Honestly, I was.
14:26I think I came into my own after the engagement ended.
14:30And I think I came into my whole self when I came out as gay.
14:33So I remember I came in and sat down on the sofa, and I was looking at you, and I goes,
14:38oh, Mum, by the way, I'm by now.
14:41And he just goes, pick a side, don't be greedy.
14:43And we just laughed about it, and that was it.
14:44It was never mentioned again.
14:47I remember my best mate says to me, she goes, I goes, I'm gay.
14:52And she goes, I know.
14:53I goes, how did we miss that?
14:55And she was like, I have no idea.
14:57We completely missed that.
14:58You're much more yourself now, and you were really confident.
15:01When she did come out, you were confident.
15:03You weren't hiding.
15:04You didn't care what people thought.
15:05And I really admired that about you.
