00:00:00Hello friends, welcome to Humanology 2334.1
00:00:07Yeah, let's continue our conversation here
00:00:13Yeah, so Wondermont, okay, so
00:00:17My mentors advised to me, yeah
00:00:21I'm kind of paraphrasing, okay
00:00:23Yeah, experience the Wondermont, okay
00:00:26Yeah, go out there, you know
00:00:29Yes, yes, yes
00:00:32See the goods of the world
00:00:35Pleasant surprise, learning something new, okay
00:00:38Yeah, the nice restaurant, ocean view
00:00:42And nice date, dinner date, cool
00:00:46Yeah, yeah
00:00:47Another example, Wondermont
00:00:49Raw algebra, mathematics, okay
00:00:52In this room, right, I was like, wow, this is something cool
00:00:58Mathematical, metaphysical Wondermont, okay
00:01:01That's cool too, it's all diversity, okay
00:01:03Yeah
00:01:04Cheers, yeah
00:01:08Yeah
00:01:09Mm-hmm
00:01:11Mm-hmm
00:01:13Oh, watching a movie?
00:01:26Let's get back to Back to Future movie, okay, sure, sure, sure
00:01:29I also, some of my mentors asked me, hey, do you still do politics?
00:01:35I said, well, these days I do, I shifted my interest from politics to mathematics, okay
00:01:44Okay
00:01:45And my kind and generous mentors told me, okay, conquer the world, one equation at a time
00:01:50Oh, thank you, thank you
00:01:52George, ma'am, thank you
00:01:54Yeah, how nice, right?
00:01:56Yeah, cheers
00:01:57Yeah
00:01:58Yeah
00:01:59Yeah
00:02:00Hmm
00:02:01Hmm
00:02:02Hmm
00:02:03Well, they know me, they know I like mathematics, okay, so, yeah
00:02:07Yeah
00:02:08Nice
00:02:09Hmm
00:02:11Hmm
00:02:12Hmm
00:02:13So, uh, back to the, back to the future movie
00:02:17So, uh, back to the, back to the future movie
00:02:21Count Rhimes, yeah, back to the, back to the future movie
00:02:24Uh, the director's commentary, okay, yeah
00:02:27Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale, okay
00:02:31I remember many things that they said in the director's commentary, okay, so
00:02:35One of the things they said was, uh, uh, the female actress, uh, who played, uh,
00:02:45Marty's mother, okay, Marty, Michael J. Fox
00:02:49And, uh, he, he, the actress who played his mother, I think her name is Leah Thompson, okay
00:02:56Yeah
00:02:57So, uh, she, she's great, yeah
00:03:00I think she later on appeared, maybe, uh, the protagonist of, uh, Caroline in the city, maybe
00:03:07Okay, in the American TV show
00:03:09Which is very nice show, yeah, yeah
00:03:12I think that was her, okay, yeah
00:03:14Let me look up, Caroline in the city, okay
00:03:18Uh, I remember that, American TV show, okay, yeah
00:03:28Yeah
00:03:35Uh, it's, uh, Leah Thompson, okay
00:03:37Okay
00:03:41Nice, nice
00:03:44Uh, so, but
00:03:49In Back to the Future movie, the first one, the director's commentary, uh, Mr. Robert's director, Robert Zemeckis, he really complimented on, uh, Ms. Leah Thompson, okay
00:04:03Very professional, easy to work with, great attitude
00:04:07Great, yeah, because some actors, actresses, uh, kind of, you know, not easy to work with, yeah
00:04:16Uh, maybe, I was one, when I was in Hollywood
00:04:20When I was in Hollywood
00:04:21Not a big scale movie, but student film and, uh, community theater project
00:04:26Uh, maybe, I, was always a bit difficult sometimes
00:04:30Uh, my apologies, I'm sorry
00:04:32I was young and dumb back then, okay, so
00:04:36Okay, so
00:04:37Okay, so
00:04:42I'm really Cassie Trump's disobeyed on sometimes
00:04:45Sometimes, uh, too creative
00:04:47As an actor
00:04:50Yeah, my apologies, okay
00:04:52Uh,
00:04:53But, uh, Ms. Leah Thompson in, uh, the Back to the Future movie
00:05:03Her acting, uh, I do have some criticism, okay
00:05:07Uh, if I may
00:05:08Because, uh, her acting is a little bit too heavyweight
00:05:12Okay
00:05:14Uh, I think she was probably, uh, new to acting back then
00:05:20They were my guess, okay
00:05:22Because, uh, I was like that too
00:05:24In the beginning
00:05:25Uh, like, too serious
00:05:27Too heavyweighted
00:05:28Like, too intense
00:05:30Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so
00:05:35She was a little bit like that, okay
00:05:37But
00:05:39She did great though, okay, yeah
00:05:44Yeah
00:05:49I think she did fantastic
00:05:51Except some parts where she's too heavyweighted
00:05:54Meaning, too intense
00:05:56Uh, unnecessarily so
00:05:59Oh, yeah, I was like that too
00:06:05Uh, too effortful
00:06:08Like, basically trying too hard, you know
00:06:11Too much energy input
00:06:12But, uh, like, uh
00:06:15More seasoned actors, actresses in that movie
00:06:19Like, uh, Michael J. Fox
00:06:21Or
00:06:25Dr. Brown
00:06:26Uh, Christopher Lloyd, I guess
00:06:28Uh, more relaxed, okay
00:06:30Yeah
00:06:31But
00:06:33When it comes to Mr. Marlon Brando
00:06:35His acting is way excessively too much effortless
00:06:39It's like
00:06:40It feels
00:06:41It
00:06:42It looks as if he doesn't even care
00:06:44Mr. Marlon Brando, okay
00:06:46That's the opposite extreme
00:06:49Of
00:06:50Too light acting
00:06:51Excessively light acting, okay
00:06:54Too effortless
00:06:56As if he doesn't even care
00:06:58Mr. Marlon Brando
00:06:59That's my criticism with his acting, okay
00:07:01Five minutes break forάλest
00:07:07Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
00:07:10Let's mental light, okay
00:07:16Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
00:07:24All right.
00:07:54All right.
00:08:24All right.
00:08:54All right.
00:09:24All right.
00:09:32Okay.
00:09:34Welcome back.
00:09:36Let me clear these eyeglasses.
00:09:42Eyeglasses.
00:09:54All right.
00:10:04All right.
00:10:06All right.
00:10:34Okay.
00:10:35So, how about food pantry experience?
00:10:43Oh, it was nice.
00:10:44Great people.
00:10:45Yeah.
00:10:46Thank you for the donors, volunteers.
00:10:49Yeah.
00:10:50Nice food pantry.
00:10:52Okay.
00:10:53So, but yeah, I mean, they say beggars cannot be choosy, but they were very kind and generous.
00:11:02So, I chose the food in the food pantry that is low in sugar and low in oil.
00:11:11Okay.
00:11:12Why?
00:11:13Because if I eat oil, too much oil, too much sugar, I get sick.
00:11:20If I get sick, it will cost a lot of money to heal me.
00:11:24So, I have to be health conscious.
00:11:25So, I have to be health conscious.
00:11:27Okay.
00:11:28Yeah.
00:11:29So, like spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, and spaghetti noodle, and pasta basically.
00:11:37And beans, canned beans, and fruits, like vegetables, like onions, and oranges, and some hams, protein.
00:11:52Yeah.
00:11:53And thank you.
00:11:54Yeah.
00:11:55Yeah.
00:11:56Yeah.
00:11:57Really helps.
00:11:58Yeah.
00:12:00Yeah.
00:12:01Mm-hmm.
00:12:02Yeah.
00:12:03Look, because I cannot afford to get sick, right?
00:12:04I have to be healthy.
00:12:05Right?
00:12:06Yes.
00:12:07Yes.
00:12:08Yes.
00:12:09Yes.
00:12:10Yes.
00:12:11Yes.
00:12:12Yes.
00:12:13Yes.
00:12:14Yes.
00:12:15Yes.
00:12:16Yes.
00:12:17Yes.
00:12:18Yes.
00:12:19Yes.
00:12:20Yes.
00:12:21Yes.
00:12:22Yes.
00:12:23Yes.
00:12:24Yes.
00:12:25Yes.
00:12:26Yes.
00:12:27Yes.
00:12:28Yes.
00:12:29Yes.
00:12:30Yes.
00:12:31Yes.
00:12:32Yes.
00:12:33Yes.
00:12:34Yes.
00:12:35Yes.
00:12:36Yes.
00:12:37Yes.
00:12:39Yes.
00:12:40Yes.
00:12:41Yes.
00:12:42Yes.
00:12:43Yes.
00:12:44Yes.
00:12:45Yes.
00:12:46Yes.
00:12:47Yes.
00:12:48Yes.
00:12:49Yes.
00:12:50Yes.
00:12:51Yes.
00:12:52so after this show I might watch the back to the future 2 I might but
00:13:06probably I'll fast-forward some parts because back to the future 2 is a little bit too dark right
00:13:12well the theme there is a little bit like you know beef taking over the city
00:13:19it's a little bit kind of like a post-apocalyptic kind of like cyberpunk
00:13:31kind of pessimistic dystopian vision of the future yeah
00:13:46but back to the future 3 is a western like cowboy cowgirl horse darts western style the
00:14:00back to the future 3 I liked it yeah at first I didn't but later on I came to appreciate it okay
00:14:06yeah
00:14:16mm-hmm
00:14:25mm-hmm
00:14:36mm-hmm
00:14:44mm-hmm
00:14:49mm-hmm
00:14:53mm-hmm
00:14:55mm-hmm
00:14:57So, I made mentors, my parents of course, yeah, because I've been through difficult times,
00:15:06I'm 47, yeah, the kind of difficulty that I'm having now, like difficulty finding a
00:15:13lawyer job, yeah, it's, but it's not nearly as difficult as some other difficult time
00:15:24that I had earlier in my life, okay, this one, relatively easier one, although yeah, seven
00:15:36months only per month, but I had many, much more difficult times in my past, but I'm 47,
00:15:48okay, I'm also, I can't ask for it, because I'm all adventurous, I asked for it, and I got
00:16:00planning of difficult times, okay, because, I asked for it, okay, think about it, ha, ha,
00:16:22ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,
00:16:28and some of those times, I guess when I was a teenager, I guess, in high school, okay,
00:16:35maybe college days, early 20s, my mother told me, because when she's older than me, my mother,
00:16:49oh, she's, she's been through difficult times too, she's older than me, okay, yeah, she's
00:16:58no at all, all right, she's been there, my father too, my siblings as well, yeah, they're older
00:17:07than me, okay, yeah, of course they've been through difficult times, I've seen them, going
00:17:13through difficult times, okay, yeah, so, they know it,
00:17:19better than I do, they're older than me, okay, yeah, yeah, so, my mother told me, when
00:17:27I was going through some difficult times, in Korean words, yeah, hey, uh, Hongya, I'm
00:17:39about to cry, because Korean language is my mother language, is my first language, so,
00:17:50my parents are doing very well in Korean, okay, but it just, when I speak Korean language,
00:18:12sometimes I cry, because, uh, it just touches my heart, uh, so, Hongya, I mean, hey, Hongya,
00:18:40what is my mother language, how does it translate, uh, wherever I speak Korean language?
00:18:49Yeah, what does that mean? What does that mean? Yeah, you gonna paraphrase and translating
00:18:55and to English. There will be a time where when things will work out.
00:19:10So to add my own stuff in human arts, you get the great wisdom, okay? Yeah, life,
00:19:16yeah, it's like day and night, winter, summer, ups and downs, good time, not so good time,
00:19:24easy time, bad time, difficult time, okay? It's just life.
00:19:35It's natural, rhythm, fluctuation, okay?
00:19:41For everybody.
00:20:06Yeah.
00:20:11I'm not crying, okay?
00:20:19I cry once a week.
00:20:21It's very healthy.
00:20:23Physically, emotionally.
00:20:24Now, five minutes break, okay?
00:20:25Yeah.
00:20:27Social mess, okay?
00:20:31Five minutes, thank you.
00:20:35Okay, yeah.
00:20:36I wash my face, yeah.
00:20:41I wash my face.
00:21:11I wash my face.
00:21:41I wash my face.
00:35:11No.
00:42:11Yeah.
00:42:41I have my pride.
00:46:40Okay.
00:50:10Okay.
00:57:40Yeah.
00:58:40Okay.
00:59:40Yeah.
01:03:10Okay.
01:09:40Okay.
01:10:10Okay.
01:13:10No.
01:14:10I'm 47.
01:15:40Okay.
01:18:40Okay.
01:19:10Yeah.
