00:17Olivia Nunzi, the disgraced ex-New York Magazine reporter who had a bombshell sexting affair

00:22with the now Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,

00:26broke down in tears during a tense on-camera interview with The Bulwark on December 2nd.

00:32I mean, I write in the book about, you know, I was terrified of the man I did not marry.

01:26The shocking interview comes as Nunzi's scorned ex-fiancee

01:30and former Politico reporter Ryan Lizza has been drip-feeding

01:33tantalizing details about his ex-Nunzi's short-lived digital fling

01:37with Kennedy during his doomed presidential bid.

01:40In one of his substack InfoDumps, Lizza claimed that Nunzi, quote,

01:44crossed the line from journalist to political operative

01:47while engaging in an emotional affair with the Kennedy scion.

01:51Lizza has also revealed other raunchy details about Nunzi

01:54and Kennedy's emotional affair, which included explicit poems,

01:57and plans to, quote, consummate their relationship.

02:00Lizza said the pair's alleged planned sescapade after a campaign rally in Arizona

02:05was derailed, though, since he was set to cover the same rally for Politico,

02:09and it was then that he learned about the bombshell affair.

02:12Nunzi first met Kennedy in 2023, when she interviewed him for New York magazine

02:16during his failed presidential bid.

02:18At the time, the writer was engaged to Lizza,

02:21who later dumped her after the affair was revealed.

02:24News of Nunzi and Kennedy's tryst originally broke in August 2024,

02:28after Nunzi's mentor, podcaster Kara Swisher,

02:32found out about the affair and went to Nunzi's bosses at New York magazine.

02:35The magazine later axed Nunzi after she confessed to the relationship.

02:39In Nunzi's new book, American Canto, which has been panned by critics,

02:43the 32-year-old paints a picture of obsessive love, drugs, and bad poetry

02:47from the, quote, worm-filled brain of Kennedy.

02:50She wrote how Kennedy, who famously struggled with substance abuse in the past

02:54and has long spoken of being sober,

02:56would smoke the hallucinogenic drug DMT in secret,

03:00while his wife, Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines, was out of the house.

03:05Hines dismissed Nunzi's affair accusations on Katie Miller's podcast,

03:09telling the host the scandal was part of the noise she expected

03:12as her husband ran for the White House.

03:37Sources later told The Post in November that Hines called Nunzi a, quote,

03:49Nunzi claims after the affair was revealed, Kennedy told her, quote,

03:52if it's just sex, I can survive it,

03:54in an apparent reference to the former presidential candidate's political career.

03:58Kennedy has stayed mum about the affair, denying the alleged cheating last year,

04:02with his rep claiming, quote,

04:03Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nunzi once in his life for an interview she requested,

04:08which yielded a hit piece.

04:10After leaving her job, Nunzi moved to Malibu, California,

04:13and was hired as West Coast editor at Vanity Fair,
