00:00You started at 3, tapos meron ka na magte-team na...
00:03Kanina pa yun.
00:04Para gusto niya sabihin 40 years ako sa in-hosting.
00:18Kamusta Pepsters? I am your host, Bernie Franco.
00:22And ang makakasama natin sa episode na ito ay isang showbiz royalty.
00:27Tama, Ping?
00:27Yes. Hi Pepsters, I'm Ping.
00:30And katulad nga ng sinapin ni Bernie, hindi lang showbiz royalty.
00:33Ito, coming from a successful kapamilya telesery incognito.
00:38At ngayon, nagbabalik pelikula.
00:41Let's all welcome, Richard Gutierrez.
00:44Hi everyone, hello. Good day sa inyo.
00:48Good to be here.
00:50Parang sobra naman yung royalty, sakto lang.
00:54Ayan, welcome sa Pep Spotlight.
00:56Thank you for having me here. Thank you.
00:59Ayan, syempre unahin na kagad natin, no?
01:01Ang pagbabalik pelikula mo coming from since 2019,
01:06sa Unbreakable, napanood ka namin.
01:07At ngayon, may bago kang offering sa iyong mga supporters.
01:12Yes.
01:12Ang Shake, Rattle, and Roll Evil Origins.
01:16Yeah, it's good to be back making movies after a couple of teleseries.
01:22I really wanted to do a movie for Metro Manila Film Festival this year.
01:26And parang the stars aligned for Shake, Rattle, and Roll because I was actually looking for a horror project.
01:34And then everything aligned.
01:37I met up with Keith Monteverde and Miss Roselle Monteverde.
01:42And now we're done filming Shake, Rattle, and Roll.
01:46And I'm so happy to be back making films and to be part of the Metro Manila Film Festival.
01:53Yeah, follow-up question lang dun sa sinabi mo, Richard.
01:56Kasi you've been in the industry for more than three decades, right?
01:59Grabe naman.
02:00Napila.
02:01Uy, five years pa lang ako.
02:03Ayun, kasi three years old eh, I think.
02:07Grabe naman.
02:08Sa start ka.
02:09Binubukin.
02:11And then Shake, Rattle, and Roll kasi is iconic also, no?
02:17So ano pakiramdam ng mapabilang sa isang iconic film franchise?
02:23Yeah, I mean, nung in-offer nga sa akin yung Shake, Rattle, and Roll,
02:28I had to call my, my, one of my PR managers and ask him kung nakagawa na ba ako ng Shake.
02:35Kasi parang wala akong matandaan na nakagawa ko ng Shake, Rattle, and Roll.
02:39And we realized this is my first Shake, Rattle, and Roll.
02:43So yung sister ko nag Shake, Rattle, and Roll na, yung dad ko nag Shake, Rattle, and Roll na,
02:47and ako lang pala yung hindi.
02:51So ngayon, first Shake, Rattle, and Roll ko to.
02:54So and it's, you know, such an awesome experience na to be part of this parang household name
03:01ang Shake, Rattle, and Roll sa Philippine movie industry, di ba?
03:06So and ngayon, comeback pa ng Shake, Rattle, and Roll sa Metro Manila Film Festival.
03:12So I'm just so happy and excited to be part of this.
03:17Pero ang galing, no?
03:18Kasi given na Regal Films, baby ka, Regal Baby, ngayon yung unang beses pa lang pala nasa salang ng SRR.
03:25Yeah, hindi nga ako makapaniwala. Ngayon pa lang yung first Shake, Rattle, and Roll ko.
03:28But everything happens for a reason and I'm so happy to be part of it now.
03:35Meron ka bang favorite Shake, Rattle, and Roll episode na napanood mo in the past?
03:40Kasi usually yearly naman talaga yung Shake, Rattle, and Roll.
03:43Yung sa Frigidaire.
03:45Oh my gosh.
03:46Oh my gosh. Medyo classic yun.
03:50Tsaka yung Undine, as usual.
03:54Undine. Oh my gosh. Classic yun ah.
03:57So eto na.
03:58Siyempre, dito naman sa SRR, kwentohan mo kami ng konti ano ba yung role mo and ano yung pinaka na-excite ka shooting the film.
04:07Yung karakter ko dito si Rosdan. He's a normal guy and then he's placed in this situation na kinakailangan niya mag-survive.
04:19Kumbaga yung mundong ginagalawa nila, wala nang value yung pera, wala nang value ang possessions, yung daily needs ng human like food and water.
04:32Kailangan hanapin or kailangan ipunin yung pagkain. So, nasa survival mode siya. Basically, yun yung theme nung episode namin is survival.
04:44And Rosdan, the character, becomes an unexpected leader, unexpected hero of this group na hindi naman niya intention na maging leader, di ba?
05:00Pero he's put in this spot na he has to lead a group to escape or to survive yung mga aswangs.
05:36Yeah, from the start naman of the, nung pinitsyakin yung kwento, they really wanted to do some sort of action for our episode.
05:48Siguro coming from the success of Incognito, they wanted to showcase some of my action capabilities as well, dito sa Shake Rattle and Roll.
05:56But we made sure na it's different. We made sure that it's different from Ironheart or Incognito na hindi siya yung very polished or tactical na action scenes.
06:10This is more of survival and rough and raw na kind of action na, kumbaga, running for your life kind of action.
06:19So, we made sure na it's a different flavor. It's a different kind of action.
06:25Having said that, Richard, ano yung mga challenges na hinarap mo for this movie?
06:32Matami. Challenges, of course, I had to recreate myself and nagpaka rough and rugged din yung itsura ko dito.
06:43I grew a mustache and a beard. And then, you know, we had to do some trainings also for this.
06:50Kami nila, Ivana and Dustin.
06:52Just developing the overall story, siguro, and the character and filming, filming the episode is already a challenge, diba?
07:01But more than anything, it's fulfilling.
07:05Na-mention mo si Ivana and si Dustin. How was it working with them?
07:09Oh, it's great working with my cast members and my co-actors, si Ivana, Dustin, si Matt also.
07:17I mean, Miss Manilin.
07:20We had a very light set.
07:23Kumbaga, makakasundo naman kaming lahat.
07:26Wala naman kaming naging problema.
07:28Everybody's professional.
07:29Everybody wants to give their best in every scene.
07:34So, that's good.
07:35We had a good working relationship with everyone.
07:39And we enjoyed filming kahit na mahirap.
07:41Anong impresyon mo kay Ivana?
07:43First time ninyo na magkatrabaho dito?
07:45Yeah, first time.
07:46First time na magkatrabaho ni Ivana.
07:49She's very down to earth.
07:51She's very nice.
07:52Um, but she also takes her job seriously.
07:58Um, she's very professional.
08:00And may mga eksena na, you know, she wanted to do better.
08:05And she wanted to, um, polish some of the action scenes.
08:10And nakita ko talaga that she's hardworking.
08:12How about si Dustin?
08:15Dustin portrays my brother.
08:17So, um, okay yung working relationship namin.
08:22He asks a lot of questions as well.
08:25Which, um, you know, I admire about him.
08:29Kasi he wants to improve, you know, his acting and his career and everything.
08:35So, he asks me a lot of questions.
08:37And I appreciate that about him.
08:39And, yun, very professional din, Dustin.
08:43Very professional.
08:44Dumaratingin sa set.
08:45Minsan walang tulog.
08:46Coming from a different shoot.
08:48Um, like nasasabi sa kanya na, hey, bata ka pa, kaya mo pa yan.
08:52Alam mo yun?
08:53Pero, yeah.
08:54Um, overall, good experience.
08:56Filming with everyone.
08:58Ayun.
08:58Tinanong ko, Bernie, no.
09:00Kasi nabanggit sa ating pep live before with Dustin na idol ka pala niya.
09:06Kaya sobrang natuwa siya, nakatrabaho ka niya dito sa SRR.
09:09Talaga?
09:10Hmm.
09:11Ayan, ang mga hosts natin, no.
09:13Pinapanood nga daw niya ako dati, sa mga TV shows ko dati.
09:17Sabi ko, alas magka-batch lang tayo.
09:19Ay!
09:20Yan naman pala.
09:23Hindi, pero, yeah.
09:24I appreciate the young guy.
09:25Si Matt also, you know, I saw Matt.
09:28Kasi Matt is a son of one of our producers in GMA before.
09:33So, nakikita ko na si Matt dati sa set namin, bata pa.
09:38And then, he also told me a story nga, na ganun din.
09:41Parang he was watching may shows before.
09:45So, it's nice na marinig yun from young actors.
09:50And somehow, some way, I inspired them or their careers or whatever.
09:55You know, just to touch their lives.
09:58You know, that was the main goal, main objective as an actor as well.
10:02To inspire the next generation.
10:04Tapos, this is not your first horror film naman eh.
10:07Di ba?
10:07You did Si Go before and then Patient X.
10:10How is it different from the previous horror movies that you did?
10:14It's different because, I mean, this is Shake, Rattle & Roll.
10:19Di ba?
10:19This is very Pinoy, very, um, kumbaga, haligi ng horror to sa industriya natin, ng Shake, Rattle & Roll.
10:29And it's a, it's three episodes.
10:32So, it's like you're watching three films.
10:36Um, Star Studded.
10:38This one, ang dami namin dito magkakasama mga artista.
10:42So, talagang punong-puno yung pelikula.
10:44Siksik yung pelikula.
10:45And I think the theme for our episode, um, what makes it different is, from the moment our episode starts, wala nang hingahan yun.
10:56Like, pa-intense ng pa-intense yung mga eksena namin.
11:00So, kami yung final episode.
11:03So, we have to bring in the intensity and the peak of the story.
11:06So, non-stop yung episode namin, from the moment it starts.
11:12Nabanggit mo ka kanina, no?
11:13Yung Undin, yung isa sa mga nagmarka sa'yo.
11:15Si Manilin ay nasa Undin.
11:17Exactly.
11:18Exactly.
11:18OG.
11:19Shake, Rattle & Roll yan.
11:21Si Miss Manilin.
11:22So, you know, we're so happy to be, you know, working with her.
11:25So, talagang ang daming aabangan dito sa, um, SRR.
11:30Ito na.
11:31Siyempre, um, leading to the MMFF sa December 25, no?
11:35Prepared ka na ba na sa mga magaganap sa, um, MMFF parade?
11:42It's gonna be a busy December, that's for sure.
11:44Um, actually, ngayon palang busy na kami, uh, promoting Shake, Rattle & Roll.
11:49But, you know, once you do a Metro Manila Film Festival, given na yun, eh.
11:53It's gonna be a very busy Christmas, but at the same time, you know, it's exciting times ahead na, you know, we're trying to, we're trying to bring back people to the cinemas, you know, especially in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
12:09So, that's some sort of advocacy of mine also, and a few of my co-actors to, to help bring back the cinema, you know, bring back the life to the cinemas.
12:20Um, so yun ang goal namin, and we're gonna do everything in our hours to, to bring people back to cinemas this Christmas.
12:31Your first Shake, Rattle & Roll, but not your first MMFF entry.
12:35MMFF for sure.
12:36Yes, yes, yes.
12:37Marami na rin ako naging Metro Manila Film Fest entries in the past.
12:41So, I know how it feels to work on Christmas Day.
12:45So, we're gonna do it again this year.
12:49And may kaba pa ba na given na we have 10 entries this year, ikaw ba kinakabahan ka pa ba dun sa mga, either sa ranking, or kung anong magiging feedback ng mga tao sa pelikula?
13:03You know, pag gumawa ka ng pelikula, especially sa Metro Manila Film Festival, it's always going to be magnified, di ba?
13:10So, the pressure is always there, that's a given, but all you have to do is give your best in everything, promote the movie, and then whatever happens, happens, di ba?
13:22But, I'm very confident na maganda yung pelikula namin, everybody worked hard, you know, everybody strived to give their best.
13:31So, alam mo, para sa akin, ang importante ay maging successful yung buong Metro Manila Film Festival na run.
13:41Hopefully, more successful than last year, and I think that's a win-win for everyone, if it's more successful than last year.
13:51You know, kung saan mang ranking mapunta ang shake, rattle, and roll, ano na lang yun, kumbaga icing on the cake or bonus.
13:59But, you know, we're trying to lift up the film industry, and we're doing as much as we can.
14:05So, hopefully, this year, you know, sana isama ng mga tao ang buong pamilya nila sa sasinihan ngayong Pasko.
14:15May certain feeling ka na namimiss kapag gumagawa ka ng isang MMFF entry, since hindi mo naman siya first time.
14:23Nakamiss din. Nakamiss din talaga yung Metro Manila Film Festival.
14:26Yung the whole parade, yung awards night, and, you know, heading towards Christmas, you know.
14:33Nakamiss din siya.
14:34I know for some actors, probably, namo-burn out sila dahil Pasko na, and then they still have to work.
14:41You know, I felt that before, but ngayon, I'm very excited, I'm energized to promote and watch the other films sa Metro Manila Film Festival.
14:53Ayan. So, ito na, syempre, meron tayong konting pa-throwback.
14:57Dahil nabanggit na nga ni Bernie, no, na at three years old, kumaarte ka na.
15:01Grabe naman to.
15:02Siyempre, na panood ka namin, Richard.
15:06Ako ba talaga yung pinanood nyo?
15:08Kambalto ko, days pa lang.
15:10O, di ba?
15:10Talagang, ang, ano, nung, ang lalim nung pinanghubutan.
15:14Kambalto ko.
15:16Meron ka pa bang ngayon, looking back, may mga naaalala ka pa na pinaka na-enjoy mo as a child star?
15:22Nung mga moments?
15:25Nung mga bata kami, gumagawa nga kami ng mga pelikula and we would be on set.
15:30And I think we did a few horrors as well.
15:32So, I think nung mga kids kami, just being on set, and then seeing all the lights, the cameras, the props, everything, you know, talagang parang isang malaking playground yung set for us before.
16:02Ah, okay.
16:03Thanks, ma'am.
16:05Thanks for that skateboard.
16:07But yeah, yun yung naaalala ko.
16:09Did it help nakasama mo sila sa pelikula yung dad mo?
16:13Nung, like, yun sa kambalto mo?
16:15Ah, yeah.
16:16Of course, nung mga kids pa kami, I mean, talagang big help na nandun yung dad ko, yung mom ko, and of course, I was working with Raymond during that time.
16:25So, it was easier as far as I can remember.
16:31But yeah, may family help, for sure.
16:34And you were able to work with the greats, di ba?
16:38Na, alam mo, siya?
16:39Yeah, yung mga OG actors, mga veteran actors.
16:42Marami, marami ako nakatrabaho, and I'm very thankful na nakatrabaho ko sila.
16:48So, medyo natural, ano talaga, na nag-gravitate ka towards a showbiz.
16:54Pero, nung medyo mas nagkaroon ka na ng parang mas isip na to decide things on your own.
17:01Talagang, did you really want to pursue a showbiz career?
17:05Or, if not, what would have been your choice as an alternative na career path?
17:14Honestly, I don't know what I would be right now if I wasn't in showbiz.
17:19I don't know, but when I started again, kasi di ba, we stopped when we were kids,
17:29and then we went to school and everything, and then after graduating, I decided to,
17:36I was invited for a show in GMA, and then I gave it a shot.
17:41In the beginning, nung nakisimula ako nung teenage years ko, parang iniisip ko lang na,
17:47oh, this is good, you know, I'm gonna earn some money, di ba?
17:51Ganun yung nasa isip ko.
17:53But then, when I started working, I realized that I had this passion for acting,
18:00this passion for the craft, and I think that's what really inspired me to continue,
18:06and to, you know, give my best in every project, and also,
18:14kahit nakakapagod na yung trabaho, kahit walang tulog and everything,
18:18I think it's my, the passion for my craft.
18:21I wanted to give my best every time.
18:25And until now, parang nandun pa rin ako, so I'm very happy.
18:28So talagang yun talaga yung gusto mo, kasi naalala ko lang,
18:31you also had the chance to live in the US, and may iba kasi, ay, gusto nang American Dream, ganyan.
18:38Ikaw, did you not wish for it for yourself?
18:41No, I wanted to apply for the US military when I was young, but my parents declined.
18:49Good thing.
18:51So talaga, gusto mo ng action talaga, kahit in real life talaga.
18:54Di ba, kasi pag-a-sundalo.
18:56Gusto ko nga, ayaw ng airmats ko.
18:59Okay.
18:59So yun, umuwi ako dito.
19:04Okay.
19:06Kaya palang yung mga recent projects mo, medyo...
19:11Yeah, inclined sa military.
19:14Yeah, I was obsessed with the whole military world before.
19:20Nag-ra-aka kanina nung sinabi ko na you come from a showbiz royalty,
19:24but tinignan namin yung definition, yun yun eh, you are a showbiz royalty.
19:28Sa iyo ba, ano yung advantages and disadvantages ng pagiging showbiz royalty?
19:34Um, yeah, there are advantages, there's also disadvantages.
19:41When I was starting out, um, you know, I would always get the, ah, ah, yung anak ni Eddie, ah, yung kapatid ni Rufa.
19:54So, parang people has a, parang may pre-judgment na sila sa akin.
20:00Na kahit hindi pa nila ako kilala, or hindi nila alam yung kakayahan ko, or what.
20:06Pero since, anak ako ni Ganyan, or kapatid ako ni Ganyan, or, or I have this family name,
20:13all of a sudden, parang people act like they know me already.
20:17Kasi, you know, our whole life parang, parang open book eh, di ba?
20:22So, yun lang.
20:24So, parang people has this, parang na pre-judge ka na.
20:27And then, of course, pag mayroong kang, nung nag-simula ako, and I was starting to become successful on my own.
20:35Um, of course, you'd hear na, oh, he's there because he's the son, or he's there because, you know, Ganyan.
20:42But, I really kept on trying to prove everybody wrong that, you know, I'm my own person,
20:49that, you know, I can stand on my own two feet, so I had to grind that out.
20:52And it kind of motivated me to parang, um, have a legacy of my own as well, you know.
21:00And, you know, I'm very thankful for my family.
21:04I'm very thankful for my dad, my sister, who paved the way for me.
21:09And I think the advantages are that, um, ang mga advantage is because parang may guidance ako, di ba?
21:20Like, you know, my dad would tell me to, always reminds me to be nice to everybody on set.
21:29Be nice to your co-workers, um, pag mayroong veteran actors, you know, always, uh, introduce yourself.
21:37And, you know, just be respectful overall.
21:39And my dad kind of, um, paved the way for us, di ba?
21:45In terms of working hard and, you know, the ins and outs of showbiz, it's more of how to deal with the fame.
21:53It's more of how to deal with, um, being an actor, which not everybody gets advice from, di ba?
22:03So, siguro yun yung isa sa mga advantage na yung dad ko, lagi ako nire-remind on, you know, on certain things, how to carry myself.
22:14Finally, yun nga, no, um, nung ikaw na, um, you made a name for yourself.
22:20Although hindi pa, ito, ito yung umpisa, no, sa click.
22:22Meron ka ba ba any memories about sa click days mo na, syempre talagang nag-marka talaga sa generation ng mga kabataan, no?
22:30Ano yung mga favorite mo na namo-mits?
22:31Sobrang saya nung click days namin, sobrang kulit namin, like yung barkada namin doon.
22:39Lagi kami pinapagalita ng direktor, kasi para kaming mga high school students na ang iingay, kwentuhan ng kwentuhan,
22:48nagbablocking na yung direktor, nag-uusap-uusap pa rin kami, parang we were teenagers and we were having fun.
22:55Basically, we enjoyed the whole process and everybody was close.
22:59There were certain dramas, but more than anything, we really enjoyed those days, especially lahat kami sabi-sabi nag-start that time.
23:07So it was good. It was a very good experience for all of us.
23:10Sino pinaka-naging close mo sa click at the time?
23:15A.J. Eigenman, who now lives in the States, and also si Brian Revilla, we became very close.
23:24Also, Angel, Gina, si Karen.
23:31We used to have these reunions when click ended.
23:36We used to have like yearly reunions.
23:39Hindi ko alam bakit natigil yung reunions namin.
23:41Siguro everybody has their own families now.
23:43But yeah, we stayed in touch.
23:46And you know, until now, pag nakikita-kita kami, you know, we're still very close.
23:50But yung constant communication, wala na ba kasi?
23:55Ngayon kasi very popular yung mga nagkakaroon ng reunion or mga artista na they still keep in touch even after many years.
24:04Do you still have that?
24:05Yeah, I still communicate with them.
24:07Yeah, some of them, kamusta, ganyan, you know, follow each other on social media, you know.
24:12So, stuff like that.
24:15But I think yung reunion, parang kailangan namin mag-reunion ulit soon.
24:20Yung group namin.
24:37Di ba, mulawin, ganyan.
24:40And Angel, na nakasama mo sa Click, pero di ba kayo partners no, no?
24:43Tapos naging partners talaga kayo.
24:45And what was it like, yung mga doing, yung mga fantaserye before na talagang maraming sumuporta?
24:53Kami na Angel, dun sa Click, actually twins yung role namin.
24:57Magkapatid kami.
24:58And then, we were given a project, mulawin, and then dun kami parang ginawang love theme.
25:05And it just took off from there.
25:07I remember doing fantaseries for GMA non-stop, like one project after another.
25:12And those were the days na talagang wala rin akong pahinga.
25:18But we sort of changed the landscape of TV during that time.
25:24You know, we started mulawin, and then that was the last project for TV na kaming dalawa ni Angel na magkasama.
25:34Sumunod na sa ABS na kami.
25:37But we did our own shows.
25:40Like kami ni Angel, mga panood lang kami dati sa pelikula.
25:43But sa TV, she had Darna, I had Captain Barbell, you know, she had this.
25:49Lagi kaming magkahiwalay na ang project sa TV.
25:53So I think people were excited to see us in movies.
25:57That's why we did movies, you know, almost every Valentine's that time.
26:02So it's nice looking back at it.
26:05You know, it was the heydays na of fantaserye and GMA.
26:09And, you know, I'm just happy to be part of it and to experience that, you know.
26:14I had some mentors there, some directors, some, you know, veteran actors who guided me along the way.
26:20And I'm very thankful to everyone who I've worked with, inspiring me, you know.
26:26And now I'm doing the same to these young guys.
26:29Yeah, it was a really good experience.
26:31Very tiring, you know, doing all those action scenes, all those special effects scenes.
26:38But it's fulfilling.
26:39I think it's also what defines my career in the early stages.
26:46That's right, after that, after two decades, the fantaseries are back after you did.
26:52Yeah, I hope we can do more fantaseries now.
26:55I think we should bring back fantaseries.
26:58Especially with the technology now of special effects.
27:02I think we can give better special effects.
27:05And I think we should bring it back.
27:08May communication ka pa ba kay Angel?
27:11Considering na ang tagal na ng panahon since you worked together.
27:16I'm very close to Angel's husband, si Neil Arce.
27:21He was my high school friend in La Salle.
27:25So, close ko si Neil.
27:29So, siya yung lai kong kausap.
27:30So, you know, minsan, say hi to Angel, ganyan.
27:34But, yeah, they live very close to my house.
27:41In fairness, meron din palang connect kay Neil, talaga.
27:45Ito, may phone-in question sa akin.
27:47Ano daw ang reaction sa hindi natuloy na project, which is Captain Barbell meets Darna.
27:54Meron dapat palang ganon.
27:55Meron yung dati, pinaplano nila eh.
27:57Yung Captain Barbell meets Darna.
28:02I don't know what happened to that project.
28:04Sayang nga yun.
28:05Parang we wanted to do that.
28:07Me and Angel wanted to do that before.
28:09But, I forgot what happened.
28:11Pero, sayang.
28:13Sayang dapat ginawa ngayon.
28:15Well, it's never too late, mali mo.
28:36Joel Lamangan is known to be a terror director before.
28:39Pero, ngayon, medyo kalmado na yata si Direc Joel.
28:42Pero, meron pa rin daw.
28:43Sabi, nung mga nag-share namang nakatrabaho niya.
28:46Meron pa rin pa minsan, minsan.
28:47Maraming, maraming kwento about Direc Joel.
28:49Pero, yung sa akin kasi, parang, ano lang, mild lang naman.
28:53Hindi naman yung, ano.
28:54Pero,
28:55Sa pelikula ito.
28:57Pelikula.
28:57Parang, he wanted to show who's boss in the set.
29:00Parang ganun.
29:02So, I was late.
29:04But, I was late because I came also from another shoot.
29:08Na,
29:09I was, I think I was doing GMA films,
29:11and then I was also doing GMA TV series that time.
29:16So, I was just like, you know,
29:18pagod na pagod and all that,
29:20and I'm just transferring from one set to another.
29:23So, it wasn't really my fault na na late from,
29:27I went straight from the other location to the movie set.
29:32So, apparently, I was like one hour late or something like that.
29:35And then,
29:36andun kami sa Parks and Wildlife yata yung location namin.
29:41Tapos, may isang parang ano dun,
29:43wooden plank na mahaba.
29:45Parang may gazebo dun sa dulo.
29:48Tapos, pagating ko pa lang sa set,
29:50sabi ng mga crew,
29:51nako, chard,
29:52galit siya, no?
29:53Galit si Direct Joel sa'yo.
29:55Inaabangan ka kanina pa.
29:56Parang tinatakot ako ng mga tao.
29:58Sabi ko, bakit?
30:01Inaabangan ka ni Direct Joel,
30:02galit na galit.
30:03Ganyan, ganyan, ganyan.
30:04Sabi ko, patay.
30:06Asa ba si Direct Joel puntahan ko muna?
30:08Andun sa dulo ng plank,
30:10wooden plank,
30:11nakaganon.
30:12Oh my gosh, na-imagine ko siya.
30:13Oo, nakaganon siya sa pinakadulo.
30:16Tapos, lapit ako.
30:18Parang walk of shame, eh.
30:20Yung lakad ko sa kanya.
30:22And then, I just remember,
30:24he was telling me, like,
30:25bakit ako late?
30:27You know, nobody's late on my set.
30:29You know, si Bilma Santos,
30:30hindi nalilate sa akin.
30:32Si Sharon Coneta,
30:33hindi nalilate sa akin.
30:35Bakit ikaw late?
30:36Ganon, parang ganon.
30:37So, basically,
30:39it was just about that.
30:40I think he was just setting the tone
30:42for, you know,
30:43who's the boss on the set
30:46and everything.
30:47But I just apologize.
30:48Sabi ko direct,
30:49sorry, I'm coming from another shoot.
30:51Ganyan, ganyan.
30:53Okay, don't do it again.
30:54So, parang ganon lang naman.
30:56Ganon lang naman yung
30:57naging tema.
30:59It's just
31:00establishing dominance,
31:02I think,
31:03on the set.
31:03So, hindi ka naman yung parang
31:05phase talaga na parang
31:06na-terrorize or something.
31:08Hindi naman, hindi naman.
31:09Thank God.
31:10Thank God wala akong ganon experience.
31:12Kasi nakita ko
31:13with my own two eyes
31:15yung ibang
31:16nakatikim talaga
31:18ng galit
31:19kay direct Joel.
31:20You don't want to be
31:21that person.
31:22Sinatarayan.
31:25Oo.
31:26Pag nag-arit yun,
31:27talagang ano.
31:28Kaya ako,
31:28pag nasa set niya,
31:29talagang
31:29you have to give your best.
31:31Kailangan memorize mo
31:32lahat ng script mo.
31:35Kasi si direct Joel,
31:36mahilig din yan sa
31:37ano,
31:37yung one shot.
31:39Parang kunwari,
31:40seven sequences,
31:41he's gonna do it
31:42in one shot.
31:43Diretso.
31:44Diretso.
31:45So, kailangan
31:45memorize mo lahat
31:47yung linya mo
31:47for seven sequences.
31:49Tapos,
31:50kailangan pagating mo
31:51sa set,
31:53wala ka nandalang
31:54ano,
31:54wala ka nandalang
31:55script.
31:55Hindi pwede yung
31:56binablocking ka niya.
31:58Tapos,
31:58may dala-dala ka
31:59pang codigo.
32:01Ayaw niya yun.
32:02Magagalit siya.
32:03So,
32:03pag nasa set ka niya,
32:04which is good.
32:05I think it set the
32:06discipline for a lot
32:07of actors,
32:08you know,
32:08to be professional,
32:10to memorize your lines,
32:11you know,
32:11to be in character.
32:13So,
32:14I'm thankful
32:14for those experiences
32:15kasi it kind of
32:16trained me
32:17to be disciplined.
32:18on set.
32:20Richard,
32:21bago ka lumipat
32:22sa ABS
32:23noong 2017,
32:25you were an
32:26A-lister
32:26in GMA.
32:29Pagka-transfer mo ba,
32:30were there fears
32:31na, you know,
32:32kasi dahil
32:32andaming artista
32:33sa ABS
32:35na baka hindi mo
32:36ma-achieve
32:37yung kind of fame
32:39na nakuha mo
32:40noong nasa
32:41GMA ka?
32:42Were there fears
32:43when you transferred?
32:46Yeah,
32:47during those times,
32:48definitely
32:48maraming fears
32:50and anxiety
32:51and uncertainty.
32:54I think
32:54that's
32:55the fear
32:57of the unknown,
32:58parang ganun.
32:59So,
32:59when I transferred,
33:01I didn't transfer
33:01naman right away
33:02to ABS.
33:03I had a one-year
33:04hiatus,
33:06pahinga ako
33:08for one year
33:08and then,
33:10of course,
33:11when I transferred
33:11to ABS,
33:12they offered me
33:13La Luna Sangre
33:14and it's a project
33:17that I couldn't say
33:18no to
33:18because I really
33:19wanted to
33:20portray a vampire
33:22and all that
33:23whole series.
33:26So,
33:27of course,
33:27there was uncertainty
33:28but
33:30for me,
33:32I just gave
33:32my best
33:33again
33:34and
33:35everything
33:39worked out.
33:41And
33:42Angel
33:43was guest
33:43in La Luna Sangre.
33:45So,
33:45it was a nice
33:46comeback for both
33:48of us
33:48during that time.
33:50And
33:51yeah,
33:52I'm happy that
33:53that project
33:54was given to me
33:54and
33:55parang
33:56it kind of
33:57paved the way
33:58for my career
33:59in ABS-CBN.
34:00And then,
34:01finally,
34:01you had the chance
34:03to
34:03make decisions
34:05about what
34:06you wanted to do next.
34:08So,
34:08Ironheart
34:09and then Incognito
34:11in a very successful
34:12action drama series.
34:14Ano yung pakiramdam
34:15na
34:15naging
34:17collaborative siya
34:18and
34:19from your end,
34:20nagkaroon ka talaga din
34:21ng
34:21insights
34:22about
34:22how to
34:23work on them.
34:25Yeah,
34:25I'm very thankful
34:26also with the people
34:27that I work with.
34:28Star Creatives
34:29also allowed me
34:30to be
34:31creative
34:31and
34:32to
34:33share my inputs
34:34also
34:35and my experiences.
34:37I'm very thankful
34:38sa
34:39mga taong
34:40nakatrabaho ko rin.
34:42Diba?
34:43I think
34:43based on
34:44my previous
34:45experiences
34:46with doing
34:47a lot of
34:47actions
34:48and fantaseries
34:49and stuff
34:49like that,
34:50parang
34:50they respected
34:51that.
34:51They respected
34:52the inputs
34:53that I had
34:54and
34:55you know,
34:56I think
34:56kasi ang movie
34:57making
34:58or ang
34:58making a
34:59teleserie,
35:00it's really
35:00a collaborative
35:02work.
35:02The magic
35:04happens within
35:05the team.
35:06Before a show
35:07becomes
35:07successful,
35:09you need to
35:09first as a team
35:10to be cohesive.
35:12You all have
35:13one goal.
35:14And you're
35:14gonna feel that.
35:15You're gonna feel
35:15that on set
35:16when there's
35:17magic on set.
35:18Parang
35:19there's
35:20certain energy
35:21on set
35:21that you're
35:22doing something
35:24good here.
35:25We're doing
35:26something that
35:26people could
35:28like.
35:29So,
35:30that's where
35:30it's going to be.
35:30And I always
35:32believe in that
35:33to be
35:34collaborative
35:35and to
35:37respect,
35:38you know,
35:38respect your
35:39directors,
35:40respect your
35:41co-actors,
35:42and at the same
35:42time,
35:43they'll respect
35:44you as well.
35:45At this point
35:46of your career
35:47na meron kang
35:48say
35:49dun sa
35:50project,
35:51sa mga
35:52projects mo,
35:53ano yung gusto
35:54mo magintakbo
35:55ng career mo?
35:56When you say
35:57kasi parang
35:58may say ako
35:58dun sa ano,
35:59I think it's
36:00a matter of
36:01choice.
36:03Ngayon kasi
36:03I'm very
36:04parang
36:04particular
36:06with the
36:06projects
36:07that I want
36:08to do
36:08na
36:08I wanna
36:12do
36:13good work,
36:15good projects,
36:16and
36:17you know,
36:18projects na
36:19parang malapit
36:22sa puso ko
36:22or
36:23nakarelate ako.
36:25And also,
36:26at the same
36:27time,
36:27parang
36:28I wanna
36:30do projects
36:30na
36:31pagpinalood
36:33ng mga
36:33anak ko,
36:34it's inspiring
36:36them
36:36or
36:37it's making
36:39them proud.
36:41So,
36:41I'm also
36:42seeing it
36:43from their
36:43point of view,
36:44my son's
36:44point of view,
36:46na
36:46I want
36:47my projects,
36:49you know,
36:50somewhat,
36:51some way
36:51to inspire them.
36:52At
36:53nagswak
36:54kayo
36:54nung mga
36:55katrabaho
36:56mo,
36:56parang
36:56bonus ba
36:57yun?
36:57Like,
36:58di ba,
36:58kasi
36:58sila
36:59Daniel,
37:00Ian,
37:01maka nakikita
37:02yung mga
37:02bonding ninyo
37:04off-come
37:04and even
37:04abroad.
37:05Yes,
37:05o,
37:06tropa yung
37:07mga yun.
37:07Actually,
37:07nung ginawa
37:08namin yung
37:08kognito,
37:10nung binubuo
37:11yung
37:11cast and
37:12yun nga,
37:14napasama
37:15si Daniel
37:15and si
37:16si
37:17kuya
37:18Ian,
37:18yung dalawa
37:19pa lang
37:19na yun,
37:20parang,
37:20okay,
37:20let's do it.
37:21Kasi
37:21nakasama ko na
37:23sila before
37:24and
37:24tropa talaga
37:25yung
37:26dating
37:27namin.
37:28So,
37:30yeah,
37:30it was a
37:31good project,
37:32yun nga.
37:33Alam mo kasi
37:34when you make
37:34a teleserie,
37:35especially if
37:36you're doing
37:36like a hard
37:37action teleserie,
37:38it's going
37:39to be tiring.
37:40Like,
37:41physically demanding,
37:42it's gonna
37:42take a lot
37:43out of you
37:44and
37:45kailangan
37:46talaga
37:46may
37:46may mga
37:47kaibigan ka
37:48or kasama
37:49ka sa set
37:50nahihila
37:50sa'yo
37:51pag
37:51hindi mo na
37:53kaya
37:53or pagod na
37:54pagod ka na
37:54or may,
37:55you know,
37:56pag may
37:56iniisip ka,
37:57may problema
37:57ka,
37:59you rely on
37:59your co-actors,
38:00you rely on
38:01kumbaga parang
38:02teammates mo yan.
38:04Diba sa,
38:05so yun,
38:06it's good to have
38:06those kinds of
38:07brothers on set.
38:09Nung ano lang,
38:10kasi dahil
38:10successful yung
38:11incognito,
38:12no,
38:12nung naging guest
38:13namin si Lance
38:14Pimentel,
38:15sinabi niya na
38:16pinuri namin
38:18na ang gagaling
38:19ng action scenes,
38:20parang totoo.
38:21Then he corrected
38:22as saying na
38:23hindi siya parang totoo
38:24kasi totoo talaga
38:25yung action scenes.
38:26So may mga
38:27physical injuries
38:29ka ba na
38:29na-experience
38:30when doing
38:31those action
38:32scenes?
38:33Yeah.
38:34We had a few
38:35bruises,
38:37cuts,
38:38yun,
38:38mga ganyan,
38:39pero
38:39nothing major.
38:41I got injured
38:43outside of set
38:44actually.
38:45I didn't get injured
38:45while filming.
38:46But yeah,
38:47I got injured
38:48during the filming
38:50of Incognito.
38:52But yeah,
38:54those scenes,
38:55some of the scenes
38:56are really rough.
38:57You know,
38:57some scenes
38:58are,
38:59you know,
38:59minsan kasi
39:02pag when you're
39:02doing action
39:03na tuloy-tuloy
39:04parang
39:05minsan
39:06nagiging
39:07physical talaga.
39:09But that's part
39:10of it.
39:10That's part
39:11of it.

41:26parang,
41:27I try
41:28to keep
41:28some,
41:29you know,

41:39it's,
41:40you know,
41:40there's a

41:41but,
41:42you know,
41:42it's just
41:43that,
41:44you know,
41:44I enjoy
41:45my privacy
41:46also,
41:47you know,
41:48so,
41:49yun na lang yun,
41:50um,
41:50kung ano man
41:51yung nakikita
41:51ng mga tao,
41:52ano yung,
41:54ano yung
41:54lumalabas
41:55sa social media,
41:56well,
41:56ngayon sa social media,
41:57marami rin
41:58fake news,
41:58so,
41:59huwag nyong paniwalaan
42:00lahat nung nakikita
42:01nyo sa social media,
42:02but,
42:03yeah,
42:04um,
42:05I'm just,
42:06you know,
42:06happy living my
42:07life privately
42:08pag wala ako sa
42:09trabaho.
42:10Ayan.
42:11The irony,
42:11no?
42:12Oo.
42:13You're a public figure,
42:14pero you want to,
42:16uh,
42:17be private about it.
42:18I don't know,
42:19medyo weird.
42:19Oo.
42:21Pero ito,
42:21the irony,
42:22that's the irony of it,
42:23I think,
42:24yeah.
42:25Ayan,
42:25pero ito pa yung isa pang,
42:26I think,
42:26talagang nag-i-inspire din sa'yo,
42:28yung dalawang anak.
42:29Mm-hmm.
42:30Kumusta ka ngayon,
42:31as a dad?
42:34Um,
42:34you know,
42:35I try to spend as much time
42:36as I can with them.
42:38Um,
42:39minsan kahit na may trabaho ako,
42:42kunwari,
42:43late call time or whatever,
42:45you know,
42:45I try to bring them to school
42:46every morning
42:47as much as I can.
42:49Um,
42:50I have two boys
42:51and,
42:52you know,
42:52they're
42:53approaching the age na,
42:56you know,
42:57si Zayan magiging teenager na soon,
42:59so,
43:00you know,
43:00I have to be there for them.
43:01I have to be there for them.
43:02I want to be there for them.
43:05Um,
43:05I want to be able to
43:07guide them.
43:08I want to see them grow
43:10and,
43:11you know,
43:11help them make decisions.
43:14You know,
43:14if they have any questions,
43:15I can answer it,
43:16whatever,
43:17you know,
43:17just,
43:18just be there for them
43:19as much as I can.
43:20And I enjoy their company.
43:22I truly enjoy their company.
43:24Um,
43:26pag nasa,
43:27pag nag-film nga ako minsan,
43:28I make them visit
43:30sa set,
43:31so they know how
43:32movies are made,
43:33you know,
43:33how films are made,
43:35so,
43:36yeah,
43:36so,
43:37ngayon,
43:37excited sila para ma,
43:39para sa Shake,
43:39Rattle and Roll.
43:40Mapanoodin nila.
43:41O, panoodin nila.
43:42Alam nilang
43:42nagpo-promote ako today.
43:44Alam nilang
43:44I'm doing my promo runs.
43:47And,
43:47they're excited to,
43:49to watch the movie.
43:50You started at 3,
43:52tapos meron ka
43:53na magtitina.
43:54Kanina pa yung
43:55started at 3.
43:56Talagang may pag-i-team.
43:57Kasi,
43:58kasi,
43:58kung magpagandaan
44:00siya, Bernie,
44:00napanood natin si Richard,
44:02hapang lumalaki.
44:03Ito yung follow-up question.
44:04Para gusto niya sabihin,
44:0540 years
44:06sa industry.
44:08At least,
44:09di ba,
44:09ang pag-an.
44:10Kasi, yun nga.
44:13Tapos,
44:13meron ka nang
44:14magtitina siya,
44:15tapos si Kai din.
44:17Hindi ba sila
44:17nagpakita ng interest
44:19to show,
44:20to,
44:20in show business?
44:21And,
44:22would you allow them
44:23if they said,
44:24Alam mo,
44:24nagpapakita sila
44:25ng interest.
44:26Si Zion,
44:28si Kai,
44:29gusto rin.
44:29Parang,
44:30curious sila about it.
44:32You know,
44:33they haven't told me
44:34directly na,
44:35hey,
44:35I wanna enter show business.
44:37Wala man namang ganun.
44:38Pero,
44:38nararamdaman ko
44:39na may interest sila.
44:40Kasi,
44:41nakikita nila nga
44:41sa lolo nila,
44:43sa mga
44:44tito at tita nila.
44:46Tapos,
44:46ako pa,
44:47di ba?
44:47So,
44:48parang,
44:50I'm sure,
44:52pumapasok sa isip nila
44:53na one day,
44:54pumasok sila sa show business.
44:56I want,
44:57Zion to focus on his school first.
45:00And then,
45:01he can do whatever he wants
45:02after that.
45:03Yeah,
45:04so,
45:04I'll be there for him,
45:06supporting him
45:06whatever decision he makes.
45:08So,
45:09that's your condition.
45:09Kung baga,
45:10does he need to finish
45:12his studies first
45:13before mo siya i-allow?
45:15Sana,
45:16sana.
45:17Yun yung ideal situation.
45:20Di ba?
45:20But,
45:21let's see,
45:22he's still young,
45:23you know,
45:23many more years to go for school.
45:26And,
45:27sana ganun.
45:28Ikaw ba yung tipo ng daddy
45:30na natatanong nila
45:31about schoolwork?
45:32Ganyan ni Zion?
45:34Yes.
45:36Minsan,
45:36natatanong nila ako
45:37about schoolwork.
45:38Minsan,
45:39pag may hindi sila
45:39nagagawa ng schoolwork,
45:40tinatago rin nila sa akin.
45:44So,
45:45yeah,
45:45medyo strict din ako
45:46as a daddy.
45:47Parang gusto ko
45:48laging
45:48ginagawa yung homework nila
45:50or whatever.
45:51So,
45:52I always check,
45:53ano,
45:53gawa mo na yung homework mo,
45:54patigin nga,
45:55ganyan,
45:55ganyan.
45:56But,
45:56they also ask me,
45:57you know,
45:58si Zion's very open
46:00and,
46:00you know,
46:01pag meron siyang trouble
46:02sa isang subject
46:04or what,
46:04you know,
46:05he asks me questions.
46:06Pagsabaon,
46:08okay ba sa mga baguets
46:09na binibigyan ng money
46:11at their age
46:12or talagang,
46:13ah,
46:13talagang ipe-prepare pa yun
46:15or pick?
46:17Nagkaroon ng time
46:18na we would prepare
46:19the food,
46:20di ba?
46:21Pero,
46:23mahirap din
46:24isustain it.
46:25Tapos,
46:26Zion moved to
46:27a bigger school now
46:28and marami siyang
46:30options sa kantin.
46:31So,
46:31he's asking na lang
46:32kung pwede na lang siya
46:34sa school
46:35ng pagkain.
46:37So,
46:38you know,
46:38I try to mix it.
46:40Minsan,
46:40bibigyan ko siya ng baon,
46:41minsan,
46:42papadala ko siya ng food
46:43para hindi naman
46:44palagi,
46:45kasi,
46:46hindi ko alam
46:46kung anong kinakain niya
46:47sa school,
46:47di ba ka puro unhealthy
46:48kinakain nun dun,
46:49di ba kung ano-ano kinakain.
46:51So,
46:52sometimes,
46:52I give him
46:53baon
46:54na food
46:56and then,
46:57sometimes,
46:58bibigyan ko siya
46:58ng allowance
46:59for school.
47:01So,
47:02nagsaset ka
47:02ng,
47:03okay,
47:03ganito lang yung budget mo
47:05for the week,
47:06ganyan.
47:07So,
47:07may budget ako for him
47:09sa isang linggo
47:10and then,
47:11nagkaroon ng isang beses
47:13na parang
47:13Tuesday pa lang,
47:14ubus na yung ano niya.
47:16Sabi ko,
47:16ba't ubus yung
47:17chinecheck ko eh?
47:18Tuesday pa lang,
47:18dalawang araw pa lang.
47:20Sabi ko,
47:20ba't naubos?
47:22Nagpalibre daw
47:22isa niyang kaibigan.
47:24Galante.
47:25Sabi ko,
47:26okay,
47:27pwede ka man libre
47:28paminsan-minsan,
47:29wag palagi.
47:31Okay.
47:32So,
47:32at least,
47:33talagang natuturuan mo
47:34na bata pa lang
47:35kung paano magmanage
47:36ng pera.
47:37So,
47:37I try to,
47:38yeah,
47:39I try to help him
47:40with that.
47:41Since nabanggit mo
47:42kanina that
47:43you're a strict dad,
47:44how do you discipline
47:45your kids?
47:45Ikaw ba yung tipong
47:46face the wall
47:48or kinakausap
47:49or yung traditional
47:49na mamalo?
47:51How are you
47:51as a dad?
47:52Hindi ako
47:53mamalo.
47:54Hindi ko rin sila
47:55pinapa-face the wall.
47:56Actually,
47:57just talk to them.
47:59Si Zion,
48:00actually,
48:00si Kai,
48:02medyo
48:02mas low-maintenance
48:04si Kai.
48:05Mas chill
48:06si Kai.
48:07Si Zion ngayon
48:07kasi approaching
48:08ng teenage years.
48:10so he has
48:11more questions
48:13and all that stuff.
48:14So,
48:14when I talk to Zion,
48:16he listens.
48:19He listens
48:20when I talk to him
48:21na talagang
48:21serious talk.
48:23Mas pumapasok sa
48:24kanya eh.
48:25Yung approach
48:26na kinakausap ko siya
48:27na maayos eh.
48:28Kaysa yung magagalit ka,
48:30sisigawan mo,
48:30whatever,
48:31like yung old school ways.
48:33That yung nanay ko ganun.
48:34But,
48:36so ako,
48:39yung approach ko
48:39mas kinakausap ko
48:42lang siya
48:42na maayos.
48:43Like,
48:43tao sa tao ganun.
48:44So,
48:46naabsorb niya.
48:48And napansin ko
48:49mas effective
48:50sa kanya yung ganun.
48:52At yung mga bata
48:53ngayon,
48:53parang mas mature sila
48:54compared before.
48:56So,
48:56dahil sa age
48:57of social media,
48:58exposed sila.
48:59Yeah.
48:59Yeah,
49:00I think yung age
49:00of information,
49:01parang andyan na lahat
49:02ng information sa kanila.
49:04So,
49:05they get things
49:05easier now.
49:07Diba?
49:08Which is good.
49:09Mabilis din yung pacing.
49:11Medyo tricky nga
49:13ang parenting ngayon
49:13actually kasi yung kids
49:15ang bilis na
49:15ng pacing nila
49:17with all the social media
49:18and everything
49:18and you really have to
49:20adapt also
49:22as a parent.
49:22sa times ngayon
49:25with the kids.
49:26And ikaw,
49:27kasi natanong natin siya
49:28how he is with
49:29his kids sa finances.
49:31Ikaw naman,
49:32ano yung,
49:33dahil ang dami mong work,
49:35ikaw na ba
49:36mismo ang hands-on
49:38sa pagating sa
49:39earnings mo,
49:40how you handle it?
49:43Yeah.
49:44For a long time,
49:45ako na yung
49:45nagmanage ng
49:46finances and everything.
49:48and
49:48yeah,
49:51um,
49:52I set aside
49:53for my kids.
49:54I set aside
49:55for,
49:55you know,
49:56certain savings
49:57and
49:57all that stuff.
49:59And I also
50:00have some investments
50:01outside of
50:02showbiz.
50:03So,
50:04yeah,
50:04um,
50:05I try to teach
50:07my kids also
50:07about money
50:08at an early age
50:09to save up.
50:11Diba?
50:12Actually,
50:12binilang ko nga sila
50:13ng tig-isang
50:14piggy bank.
50:15Kasi nung bata ko,
50:17ganun ako eh.
50:18Nagsisave ako
50:19ng money.
50:21So,
50:21ganun ako nag-start.
50:23Mag-save ng money
50:24to have that discipline
50:25na mag-save
50:27sa piggy bank.
50:28So,
50:28binigyan ko sila
50:28ng tig-isa.
50:29Hindi ko alam.
50:30So,
50:30check ko nga mamaya
50:30kung may laman.
50:31May laman.
50:32Meron ka pa bang
50:33pinag-iipunan
50:34ngayon
50:35na gusto mong
50:36for yourself
50:37na investment.
50:38Lagi naman tayong
50:39may mga dreams.
50:40Lagi naman tayong
50:41may mga goals.
50:43of course,
50:45we still have
50:46some
50:47ideas
50:49and
50:50things
50:52that you want.
50:53Hands-on ka
50:54sa investments mo.
50:56So,
50:57kahit na
50:57artista talagang
50:59hindi yung
51:00i-assign mo
51:01sa someone
51:01para
51:02asikasuhin.
51:04Yeah.
51:05I'm in control
51:06of my finances
51:07naman.
51:08Pagdating sa investment,
51:11saan ka mas
51:11more nag-invest?
51:12Kasi yung iba,
51:13insurance,
51:14yung iba,
51:15lot or property.
51:17Ikaw may
51:17certain area ka na.
51:20Ako siguro,
51:21dun sa dalawang
51:22binanggit mo,
51:23nasa real estate ako.
51:26Parang dun ako
51:27nasanay.
51:27ganun ako nag-start.
51:34Kasi ganun din yung tinuro
51:35sa akin ang dad ko.
51:36Because my dad
51:37also did that
51:38when he was younger.
51:39So,
51:40parang,
51:41pati yung mga
51:42uncles ko,
51:42ganun.
51:42So,
51:44they kind of
51:45taught me
51:45to invest
51:46in land.
51:47So,
51:48ganun yung
51:48naging parang
51:49discard ko na rin.
51:52Si Miss Annabelle,
51:53ano naman yung
51:54tips niya sa'yo
51:54when it comes to that?
51:56Alahas.
51:56Bakit alahas?
51:57Pinakamaraming alahas.
51:58Pwede mong binig.
51:59Hindi,
52:00joke.
52:01Hindi,
52:01magaling din sa
52:02finances.
52:04Kasi siya ang manager mo
52:05for the longest time.
52:07Magaling din siya
52:08sa finances.
52:09She knows also
52:11how to handle money.
52:12Anong natutunan mo
52:13sa kanya?
52:15Na tip?
52:17Alam mo,
52:17yung mom ko,
52:19magaling siya
52:19mag-save,
52:20but she also
52:21knows how to live.
52:24You know?
52:24So,
52:26hindi naman pwede
52:26ipong ka lang
52:27na ipo ng ipo na
52:28you're forgetting
52:29to buy the things
52:30that you like
52:31or enjoy your life.
52:33So,
52:33she always reminds us,
52:35you have to enjoy.
52:36You have to enjoy
52:37your earnings,
52:38kahit papano,
52:40but also save.
52:41Diba?
52:42So, ganun.
52:42Yung balance siguro.
52:44Ikaw,
52:44ano yung pinaka
52:45parang outlet mo
52:48na to enjoy life?
52:49Travel ba?
52:51Travel.
52:51For sure,
52:52travel.
52:54Yeah.
52:55And I like
52:57cars and
52:58motorcycles.
52:59So,
53:00I have a few
53:00of those.
53:02But,
53:02yeah.
53:04Travel,
53:04I think,
53:05is one.
53:05Kasi nakaka-distress
53:06din yung travel.
53:08Pag nag-reset ako,
53:09ganun.
53:11Yeah.
53:11Meron kang
53:12gustong bilhin
53:13na bagong
53:14motorcycle
53:15or any car?
53:16Ngayon,
53:17wala mo na.
53:17Okay na ako.
53:19So,
53:19kompleto na.
53:20Ang collection.
53:20Hindi pa.
53:23Pero for now,
53:24okay na ako.
53:25Okay.
53:26Ayan.
53:27So,
53:27down to our
53:29last few questions.
53:30So,
53:31coming Christmas time,
53:32although nabanggit mo nga na,
53:33you're gonna be busy
53:34with MMFF,
53:35is there any
53:36Christmas tradition
53:37with your family
53:38that you're looking
53:39forward
53:39to this year?
53:41Yeah,
53:42kami talagang
53:42traditional yung
53:43family namin
53:44when it comes to
53:45Christmas.
53:46We have
53:47the 24th
53:48party for the
53:49staff
53:50and
53:52mga
53:54workers namin
53:55for a long time,
53:56we have a
53:57party for them.
53:59So,
53:59may salo-salo yan.
54:01Minsan,
54:01nagpapadance contest kami,
54:03singing contest,
54:04and then,
54:04meron din kaming
54:05raffle for them.
54:07So,
54:07that's always fun
54:08seeing all the
54:09staff and
54:09everyone
54:10having fun.
54:11And then,
54:1225,
54:13yan yung sa
54:13family namin namin.
54:15Gift giving,
54:16salo-salo,
54:18ganoon.
54:19So,
54:20sa immediate,
54:21kasi you also have,
54:22usually with your
54:23relatives,
54:23yung talagang buong
54:24pamilya,
54:25mga picture ninyo,
54:27pagka...
54:28May mga ganun din kami.
54:29So,
54:29depende sa
54:30kung sinong
54:31available,
54:32who's in the
54:32country or what,
54:33pero,
54:34yung immediate
54:34family namin,
54:35talagang tradition
54:36yan.
54:3625.
54:37Yeah,
54:3725.
54:3824 ng gabi
54:39and then 25.
54:41Ito,
54:42anong tatlong
54:42handa?
54:44Yung talagang,
54:45I staple to
54:46kapag
54:47Pasko.
54:49Lechon.
54:49Lechon.
54:51Diba,
54:51yung sa mom ko,
54:52lechon.
54:52Hindi naman kasi
54:53magiging okasyon
54:54kung wala
54:54lechon yung nanay ko.
54:56Diba?
54:57So,
54:57lechon.
54:59Tapos,
54:59favorite naman
55:00ng dad ko,
55:01yung paella.
55:03And then,
55:05mga jamon,
55:06ganun.
55:06So,
55:07pero lechon talaga yung,
55:10lechon talaga
55:10hindi nawawala.
55:11Cebu kasi,
55:12no?
55:12Uso ang lechon.
55:13Lechon talaga,
55:13hindi nawawala.
55:15Tapos,
55:15maraming ano yun,
55:17maraming variations
55:18after,
55:18naginimpak siya.
55:20Oh my gosh.
55:21Diba,
55:22kung anong pwedeng gawin
55:23sa lechon.
55:23So,
55:24the next day,
55:24may lechon na rin.
55:25Nagliluto ba si Miss Annabelle?
55:27Ha?
55:27Nagliluto ba siya?
55:28Nagliluto siya.
55:29Anong specialty niya na?
55:30Pero,
55:30recently,
55:33parang nag-assign na siya
55:34ng tagaluto niya.
55:35But,
55:36when we were younger,
55:37mahinito.
55:37Anong favorite mo
55:38na nililuto niya?
55:41Meron siyang parang
55:43ginagawang
55:44Cebu dish eh.
55:47Bam-i.
55:48Alam niyo ba yun?
55:49Anong bam-i?
55:50Teka.
55:51Parang pansit siya.
55:52Oo.
55:53Ah, pansit.
55:53Parang noodle and dish siya.
55:55Oo.
55:55So, yun yung
55:56lagi niyang
55:57nililuto.
55:59For us.
56:00And,
56:01lechon,
56:01of course.
56:03Ayan.
