00:21vermicelli mix water which is two tablespoons two cups of water over medium heat so we'll do that
00:35now let's get the skillet it's always the one and the big cover we got it out
01:05okay so first the rice and butter two tablespoons that's about two tablespoons right there

01:41yeah let's get out mixing utensil and this has got just kind of brown so you don't want to put the
02:03water in yet or those vermicelli parts won't brown we'll just still be not cooked raw
02:18so we'll keep it on medium I'm not going to cover this right now because you don't want that to stick
02:35should have let the butter melt a little more before I added the rice but it's all good
02:48now we're going to get the two cups of water ready

03:06slowly stirring water after this is brown
03:16you use make it in a microwave

03:37two quart bowl rice mix two tablespoons of butter but we're not doing the microwave
03:50just let that brown a little
04:09it's saying for microwave low high one minute stir
04:20microwave at high one to two more minutes or until golden brown
04:27remove and stir in
04:32two and a quarter cups of water so it's actually more water for the microwave
04:39turn this back up to high because I'm standing right here
04:51maybe just a tiny bit of water to get it going
05:02yeah now you can see
05:20that vermicelli is getting brown
05:27almost time to start cooking that rice
05:32slowly stirring water and then when that's almost done the seasonings package
05:43and the tomatoes
05:44and this is going to have a
05:5120 minute 15 20 minute till rice is tender simmer
05:58that's when we'll cover it but you still want to watch it
06:01you don't want to burn that bottom
06:03about four four cups prepared
06:07yeah let's put all the water in now
06:30open up that seasoning package
06:34now we'll turn this down

06:47still you don't want to walk far

07:19a little leftover beef stew on the side
07:23so remember 15 20 minutes
07:30and add those tomatoes too
07:35we just don't have them so we're going to do without
