Malaysia will resume the search for MH370 on 30 December, over a decade after the plane vanished with 239 people onboard.

00:12The Transport Ministry says marine robotics firm Ocean Infinity
00:15has confirmed it will restart seabed search operations for a total of 55 days.
00:22The search started in March this year but was suspended after a few weeks due to bad weather.
00:28The new search will cover an area of approximately 15,000 square kilometers in the southern Indian Ocean.
00:35Ocean Infinity would conduct the mission on a no-find, no-fee basis,
00:40meaning Malaysia pays nothing unless debris is found.
00:44If wreckage is located, the company is seeking US$70 million, the same proposal it made in 2018.
00:51Flight MH370, a Boeing 777, disappeared in 2014 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing,
01:00triggering the largest search effort in aviation history.
01:04Malaysia, China and Australia previously scoured 120,000 square kilometers of the southern Indian Ocean.
