02:17you being chased off the road plunging into the canyon

03:18yeah
03:18yeah
03:18yeah
03:18Do you have any theories, ideas of what to do next?
03:42My suspicion is that Bacall is holding Noah somewhere else.
03:45It's protection in case the heat gets too intense in any of the bargaining chip.
03:49Maybe he's already feeling the heat, worried we're closing in on his fentanyl operation.
03:53Why bring us here? It makes no sense.
03:56The game. He wants to keep you guessing and worrying, overwhelm you.
04:02The bastard's doing a good job of that.
04:04We have to put an end to this.
04:06The longer we play these games, the longer our son's life hangs in the balance.
04:11I'll set up a meeting with Mitch.
04:12His name's Matt.
04:14Understood.
04:15Yeah, and all of this, using our son?
04:18This is just another one of his psycho moves to punish us.
04:22And you know what? We are not going to let him get away with this.
04:24Listen, he won't, okay?
04:26Not a promise you can keep.
04:30You think Matt's figured out that you're double-crossing him?
04:33No, no, no. We're solid.
04:35As far as he knows, I'm just a dirty cop who'll do whatever he wants for the right price.
04:40We're counting on you.
04:42I'll find your son.
04:43We'll keep the two of you posted.
04:47Damn it.
04:54We are no closer to finding Noah than when we got here.
04:58And that is what we have to help us.
05:00Do you don't trust Burrow?
05:02Do you?
05:04You're right.
05:05We need more help finding Noah than we're getting from these cops.
05:09It's all been so upside down since we got here.
05:13In a city we don't even know.
05:15Who else can we turn to?
05:17Hey, Gilles.
05:30It's your father.
05:34Are you there?
05:35This is unacceptable.
05:42I will not argue with that.
05:44You know, I'm still trying to just wrap my head around the idea that Mitch would do this to us.
05:49That Mitch is not the guy that I thought he was.
05:54That he's actually someone named Matt Clark and he's got some crazy, crazy decades long vendetta against your parents.
06:01That he's capable of this.
06:04Of drugging us and locking us up in this hell hole.
06:09I mean...
06:09Oh my God, I thought I knew who he was.
06:11I really thought I knew him.
06:14And I'm not stupid.
06:15You are not.
06:16I am not.
06:17But to be so completely fooled by somebody that I vowed until death do us part.
06:22Our marriage was not perfect.
06:26It was problems.
06:27But what the hell is this?
06:30You know what?
06:31I thought I knew what we had.
06:32I thought, I thought that I knew where we were going and thought we were a team.
06:43How the hell did my life turn into this nightmare?
06:45That's easy.
06:47Me.
06:49No.
06:50No.
06:50No.
06:52No.
06:55I said.
06:58Eyes wide open.
06:59I chose you.
07:04I still do.
07:06No regrets?
07:07Oh, no regrets.
07:11You?
07:12How could I regret being involved with a gorgeous, badass woman?
07:18Doesn't take shade from anyone.
07:19No.
07:22Yeah.
07:26But we are not the only two in this relationship.
07:29Are we?
07:30What do you mean?
07:36Well, there is my husband.
07:40Who apparently deals with betrayal like a damn thug.
07:44And then there's Ali.
07:45And I see the guilt that causes you.
07:51I see how it eats you up inside.
07:55Because you're that guy.
07:56You are a good guy.
07:58And I know that it's just killing you.
08:00The idea of hurting her just cuts you.
08:02I've tried to make that call so many times.
08:08I just didn't know what to say, how to say it.
08:14But Ali's so, uh...
08:17Sweet.
08:20Kind, trusting kind of woman you just want to protect.
08:24Something like that.
08:27Maybe you're just a protector.
08:30Like your parents.
08:31It takes two to end the relationship, right?
08:37Or three.
08:41Hey.
08:42Hey.
08:43Ali and me.
08:44That wasn't your fault.
08:47Sure.
08:49She deserved better than me cheating on her.
08:52I want to be able to tell her that.
08:54Tell her that I still care.
08:58Because I'm sorry.
09:01Now who knows if I'll ever get that chance.
09:04Okay.
09:05No, no, no, no, no.
09:08We talked about it, right?
09:11We are getting out of here.
09:14A couple of geniuses like us, right?
09:16We're going to figure something out.
09:19And if Mitch does show up, then maybe we can talk our way out of this, right?
09:23Yeah, something tells me you won't be interested in talking.
09:28You really think that he'd kill us, don't you?
09:31Mitch ran me off the road for one reason.
09:33It wasn't to talk.
09:35He literally hoped that I would crash and burn.
09:37So yeah, I have zero doubt that the man is more than capable of stone cold murder.
09:41Finally.
09:45Where have you been?
09:47Where do you think?
09:48Well, my hope is that you've been busy being the emotional support cop to Nick and Sharon
09:52while they searched through the warehouse looking for their son and cried their pretty little eyes out.
09:57You got it.
09:58How about a beer for my troubles?
10:00Yeah.
10:00More like just doing your job.
10:02I don't know about that.
10:04I look at this more like a side gig.
10:06I'm just so happy that Nick and Sharon are so stupid.
10:09Stupid enough to think that all cops are big guys.
10:11They tell me everything.
10:13How'd it go?
10:15Exactly as you hoped.
10:17A couple of rich parents, eyes wide at the sight of the place.
10:20Couldn't possibly imagine their son being in there, strung out, left for dead.
10:24You outdid yourself by sitting in this place.
10:25Yeah, like a junkie house of horrors.
10:28Like an amusement park ride.
10:30Yeah, except they can't get off.
10:31Should keep them busy for a while.
10:33Yeah, the mom, I'm pretty sure she's not going to sleep for a few days after the things she saw in there.
10:37Oh, cool, cool, cool.
10:38They can't wrap their head around the idea of Noah being alone in this place.
10:44They're boomeranging back and forth between being terrified and completely convinced that you sent them on a wild goose chase if you want the exact course.
10:50You know, I think that between the two of them, they almost have one entire brain.
10:58Is there a long game you're playing?
11:00Oh, hell yeah.
11:01The longer they have to search for their beloved son, Noah, the more they're going to wrench their guts and wring their hands and worry and sweat and think the worst.
11:10And that is exactly the kind of hell that I want to put them through.
11:15So, what do we do now?
11:20Go back inside just in case we miss something?
11:23No.
11:23If Noah and Sienna were in there, we would have found them.
11:27Keep hoping that Noah will check in and let us know he's okay, but I still have no cell service.
11:32Yeah, I don't have service either.
11:34Let's go back to the hotel.
11:35We know we have service there.
11:37Noah could be trying to get a hold of us as we speak.
11:39You're right.
11:39Let's go.
11:40I know you.
11:43Excuse me?
11:46From inside, lots of questions.
11:50Yes, about our son.
11:52Questions need answers.
11:55I hope you got yours.
11:57We didn't.
11:58This is our boy.
12:05You recognize him?
12:08Maybe.
12:11Maybe not.
12:13What does that mean?
12:15Maybe I saw him.
12:17For the right price.
12:18Yes.
12:18Yes.
12:18Yes.
12:19Yes.
12:19Yes.
12:20Yes.
12:21Yes.
12:22Yes.
12:23Yes.
12:24Yes.
12:25Yes.
12:26Yes.
12:27What the hell is this?
12:33That is a bargaining chip.
12:36You might use that to help track down your son.
12:39He's with my wife.
12:41Yeah, you might need to exchange that to buy information as to his whereabouts.
12:54Nick?
12:57Hey.
13:01I got a hundred bucks for you.
13:04You have incredible information.
13:07Two hundred would make me a whole lot more talk again.
13:14Sure.
13:15But it better be good.
13:16At least there are two of us, so if Mitch shows up, we could take him.
13:26Yeah.
13:27Yeah.
13:27Well, one of us just got out of a coma, so maybe it's not the best idea.
13:31Yeah, it's not just Mitch we have to worry about.
13:33What do you mean?
13:34I didn't see who drugged me, but the last thing I remember was that cop Burrow showed up at the club.
13:40He said he was taking me to the crash site to jog my memory, and the next thing I know, I wake up here.
13:45It smells dirty to me.
13:47Do you know anything about him?
13:49No, not really.
13:50You know, Mitch introduced me to him.
13:52He was asking all kinds of questions about you, about the night of the accident, implying that I was somehow involved.
13:58Oh, and Mitch, he was just watching me like a hawk.
14:03He would not take his eyes off of me.
14:05Well, it sounds like we have our answer.
14:07Okay, so if this Burrow guy, if he's corrupt, then it's even more confirmation than Mitch's.
14:13So you never saw Mitch step out of line?
14:15Listen, we run a nightclub, okay?
14:17So there's a fair amount of looking the other way, and, you know, a cash gift that we just accept.
14:23But, I mean, come on, he's never, ever once done anything remotely illegal.
14:29And I told you, he's never been violent with me, or anyone that I know of, for that matter.
14:34Except he's not Mitch.
14:35He's mad, and he's terrorized the hell out of my parents.
14:39I mean, he's definitely as dangerous and insane as they said he was, which means we have to find a way out of here.
14:45And the sooner the better.
14:49Nah.
14:50Not until you tell me what you know.
14:53How do I know I can trust you?
14:55You're just going to have to take my word for it.
14:58I saw your boy.
15:00He was in it hard.
15:03What does that mean?
15:04The kid was totally strung out.
15:07That can't be true.
15:09Calling me a liar, lady?
15:10Hey, hey, hey, hey, back up.
15:11Back up.
15:13Nobody's calling you a liar, okay?
15:16We're just afraid for our son.
15:18He ought to be.
15:20He didn't look so good.
15:21Did you actually speak to Noah?
15:25You don't get it, do you?
15:27He wasn't exactly in a condition to carry on a conversation.
15:32He was on the nod.
15:34He could barely keep his eyes open.
15:36No.
15:36Look, we were just in that warehouse.
15:38You and some cops.
15:40Last thing we need.
15:41We looked everywhere.
15:42We didn't find a sign of him.
15:44Did you happen to see him leave?
15:48Was he alone or was he with someone?
15:51A woman?
15:51Was she high too?
15:53Did you talk to them?
15:54You ask a lot of questions.
15:58Noah is not well.
15:59We need to find him and help him.
16:03Listen to me.
16:04Listen to me.
16:05Maybe one of your buddies in there knows or saw something, okay?
16:09Maybe they were afraid to speak to the police.
16:12Maybe you don't know anything, but maybe somebody else does.
16:15Please, I'm asking you.
16:17Help us.
16:18Help us find our son.
16:20Would you like to please debrief me with your beer?
16:29I told you.
16:31It went as planned.
16:32Yeah, but I want the details.
16:33The devil is in the details.
16:35Was Sharon crying?
16:36Was Nick beating his chest, swearing that there will be hell to bear?
16:40It's like you were there.
16:43Except Sharon held it together.
16:45That woman is definitely fierce.
16:46She's got one thing on her mind and one thing only.
16:48Finding their kid.
16:49What fun.
16:51Those two holier-than-endow idiots sifting through garbage, human garbage, searching for their precious boy.
16:58Oh, tell me, please, you took a picture.
17:03I did not.
17:04Oh.
17:07They don't suspect anything.
17:09About me?
17:10Yeah, of course you.
17:11Who else?
17:11Why would you say that?
17:12Well, because they need to believe that you're one of the good guys.
17:15Otherwise, this won't work.
17:16My cover is solid.
17:17All right, I even called in for backup to put some shine on it.
17:22That's a good thing, kid.
17:23Yeah, that's what you pay me for.
17:24Well, that and other things.
17:27And what about that other thing?
17:30What other thing?
17:31Well, you know, the druggie.
17:32The druggie who will lie.
17:34I swear to Nick and Sharon that their baby boy, their sweetie baby boy is all strung out.
17:40And he saw it with his own two eyes.
17:43Taken care of.
17:44For a price, of course.
17:46Yeah.
17:47I like this plan.
17:48It's so much better than the original plan.
17:49I mean, yeah, it would have been cathartic, you know, to see Noah run off the road in a nasty, fiery death.
17:54Boom, gone.
17:54But now with the death of a thousand blows and the cat and the mouse and the twisting of the gut, the slow burn, so good.
18:06And this is just act one.
18:07You know, I get that you're ticked at Noah, but what have these parents done to wind you so tight?
18:12Whoa.
18:14Whose side are you on?
18:17Yours, of course.
18:19They've done plenty.
18:21They're always here.
18:22They're always in my face accusing me.
18:24They are arrogant and they are entitled.
18:26Just like their son.
18:28I was so good to Noah.
18:30And he pays me back, having no problem helping himself to my wife.
18:36They deserve every bit of hell that's coming their way.
18:43Well, I've redone.
18:47Much luck.
18:53We hope if you saw or remember anything, it could be of help.
19:01There might be something.
19:03What?
19:05Tell us.
19:05How about some actual cash in hand first?
19:10We said 200.
19:12Yeah, you get half now.
19:14The other half, after I hear what you have to tell me.
19:17Take it.
19:20Your son was here with a woman.
19:23Sienna.
19:24Was she high too?
19:25As a kite.
19:26Real bad off, like him.
19:28But they weren't together.
19:30Seemed to be.
19:31Not that there was much back and forth.
19:34Too lit to know where they were.
19:37Or who they were right next to.
19:39I know.
19:40It's impossible.
19:42It can't be.
19:43When did you see them?
19:43How long ago was this?
19:48A couple hours, tops.
19:50Can you be more specific?
19:51I live in my own space-time continuum, man.
19:55Did you see them leave?
19:56Like I said, they weren't exactly mobile.
20:01B.B., we didn't search hard enough.
20:04Is it possible they could still be in there?
20:06Yeah.
20:07We'll go take another look around.
20:09And my money first, pal.
20:10You know what?
20:14You take all this.
20:16Go get yourself something to eat and a place to stay.
20:37Not again with this Matt Clark crap.
20:40You would have been better off staying dead, you know?
20:44Who are you?
20:45You know who I am.
20:47I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, so I'm going to have to ask you to please leave.
20:52You may have a double tequila on your girl.
20:55Niet.
20:55Once again, who are you, and what do you want?
21:17I'm Richard Newman.
21:20Newman?
21:20Of course.
21:24Another one.
21:27That one's on the house.
21:29Enjoy it, but when you're done, get out.
21:32Let me tell you something.
21:35Don't play games with me.
21:37Okay, I told you, son.
21:38I told you, son, son.
21:39My name is Mitch Bacall, not Matt Clark.
21:42My name is Mitch Bacall.
21:44Can we be done with that?
21:45Hey, buddy, where are you going?
21:47You've got to pay for that.
21:49Excuse me?
21:49$20.
21:51You're kidding.
21:52No, I'm not kidding.
21:53It's pricey, but you did order a double IPA.
21:55Unbelievable.
21:58Don't expect a tip.
21:59Say what you have to say, and then get her.
22:10Where's my brown, son?
22:16It wouldn't be terrible for something to eat or drink in this place.
22:19Mm, yeah, I would, uh, definitely settle for some chocolate-covered raisins right about now.
22:27Yeah.
22:28It'd have a lot of pocket lint on them.
22:30Yeah, well, beggars can't be choosers.
22:35You know, that was the first time I ever saw you.
22:37I saw the club.
22:37Yeah.
22:39It was that funky art house.
22:42God.
22:43Who knew we both loved filmware, huh?
22:46Yeah.
22:46Touch of Evil and the female animal, the original double feature.
22:50That's right.
22:52I didn't even realize it was you at first.
22:55I just saw this beautiful woman sitting in the dark a few rows in front of me.
22:59Yeah.
23:01It just wasn't until lights came off that I recognized you.
23:06And I asked you if you make it a habit of going to the movies alone.
23:10Mm.
23:10You said the only thing better than watching a movie alone is watching it with someone and
23:18could you sit with me?
23:21Ooh.
23:22You're a play.
23:23I'm nothing if not a boy.
23:26You remember what I said?
23:28That you could, right?
23:29But only if you shared the chocolate.
23:31Yes.
23:32What you ate most of.
23:34You're complaining.
23:35It was worth every single raise.
23:47Did you know then?
23:51Know what?
23:53That it would be the beginning of something we never could have predicted.
23:59Yeah, I think so.
24:03You know, I didn't really know you at all, but it just, it was...
24:09God, it was easy.
24:12Inverable.
24:15So exciting.
24:17I thought we've got a reason.
24:18Can I let it knock out people?
24:19Oh, yeah.
24:21Yeah, all right.
24:23It's decided it was inevitable.
24:26And here we are.
24:29Yeah, here we are.
24:32Jay.
24:33Hey.
24:35You have given me so much.
24:39Changed the way I see the world.
24:42What I want.
24:43Yeah, but...
24:46You hadn't shared your chocolate-covered raisins with me.
24:49It's a good chance we wouldn't be in this situation right now.
24:53I told you.
24:55I don't regret a thing.
24:56Although I, too, feel like we're living on our own version of Touch of Mule right now.
25:03Yeah.
25:06You know, it makes me think of that line from the movie.
25:08You know, when, um, Orson Welles' character says to Marlena Dietrich's character,
25:16he says, uh, wants to read the future in her cards.
25:22And she says, uh, there is no future.
25:27It's all you know.
25:31Then it's not...
25:34It's not us, you know.
25:37Yeah, our future is gonna be just fine because we are getting out of here.
25:41It's okay, okay.
25:53You want answers?
25:54I'll tell you what I told Nick and Sharon.
25:57I have no idea where Noah is.
26:00You need to do better than that.
26:02Okay.
26:03How about this?
26:04My wife might know.
26:06Sienna.
26:08What's that?
26:09Oh, you haven't heard.
26:11Oh.
26:12Okay, so your grandson and my wife are kind of an item.
26:15I was really, really nice to know.
26:18I helped him a lot.
26:20How does he repay me?
26:21By betting my wife.
26:23Oh.
26:25What's my grandson now?
26:27Again, no idea.
26:28Yeah, but my best guess is that he's with Sienna right now, which could be a problem because Sienna, she has a pretty, pretty hearty drug habit.
26:36Yeah.
26:37She might be turning your grandson onto something right now.
26:39Oh.
26:41And just between us, my wife can be a very, very persuasive woman.
26:46Wow.
26:49And you've got to do better than that, man.
26:51Sorry to disappoint.
26:52And it's Mitch.
26:56I don't even have what you call yourself, okay?
26:59You don't tell my wife.
27:02I'm Victor Newman.
27:04And I can destroy you.
27:07Is all this supposed to scare me?
27:09Unless you want to make a deal.
27:12What kind of deal?
27:14How much you want.
27:18I'm not going to let anything happen to you, okay?
27:22Okay.
27:24We'll find a way out of here.
27:28We already tried that.
27:30Door's locked.
27:31Yelling didn't work.
27:33And, um, there are no windows.
27:35There is no way out.
27:37There is always a way out.
27:38Yeah.
27:39Well, I am for positive thinking and all, but, um, it's going to take more than good thoughts to open that door.
27:45We can do this.
27:46The hinges.
27:48What about the hinges?
27:50We pull them off.
27:51We pull the door off and get the hell out of here.
27:53Okay, that's a brilliant idea, actually.
27:55I'll give you that, but, um, we would need a tool to get the hinges off, and they didn't really leave any tools around either.
28:03What's on the end of that scene?
28:07What?
28:11Maybe we found our way out of here.
28:15Got a text from my dad, Marbury, at the dead zone at the warehouse.
28:18He's in town.
28:21Victor is in Los Angeles?
28:24Surprised as you are.
28:25We're at the hotel.
28:29Where are you?
28:32Nick, what are we going to do?
28:35We searched that warehouse inch by inch more than once.
28:40Noah and Sienna were long gone.
28:42If they were ever there.
28:45You think that that's a possibility?
28:47Sharon, I think anything is a possibility at this point.
28:50Well, I was hoping the poor man who helped us would still be around.
28:56There was a lot more I wanted to ask him.
29:00I mean, I do have to wonder if he really even knew what he was talking about.
29:03Who knows?
29:04He could have made up that story entirely about seeing Noah strung out of his mind just to get the money out of you.
29:11Well, I knew that was possible, but I had to take the chance.
29:14I agree.
29:15I'm just disappointed that it didn't pay off.
29:18Well, if we believe him, and Noah and Sienna were together and they were high,
29:22but they somehow made it out of that warehouse under their own steam, that could be a good thing.
29:27It's not a lot, but I'll hang on to that, that they're still alive.
29:32Yeah, okay.
29:34Sit down.
29:37Here, drink this.
29:42Hey.
29:43How is this even happening to us?
29:49How is it that Matt Clark is back in our lives again?
29:52That night in my room when the alarm went off, Matt was in my face.
29:56How did he even know where we were staying?
29:59I'm sorry.
29:59He showed up like that.
30:01But honestly, it felt real good to get my hands around his neck.
30:04So, what now?
30:06I don't know.
30:11We're back to square one.
30:12We don't have any leads.
30:15Just a bunch of things to be concerned about.
30:19We're going to find him.
30:21We have to.
30:23Yeah, we're going to find him.
30:31Oh, Dad.
30:32Oh, boy.
30:34I'm so happy to see you.
30:36Me too.
30:37I...
30:37Thanks for coming, Dad.
30:43You didn't have to come all the way out here, though.
30:44You bet.
30:45You need all the help you can get.
30:48I'm here to make sure that this Matt Clark primer comes in and...
30:58So that you know...
31:00I paid Matt Clark a visit in the shadow room.
31:06I can't believe you went there.
31:08How did he react when you showed up?
31:10Did Matt admit who he was?
31:12No.
31:12But he knew the jig was up once I confronted him.
31:17Get anything out of him?
31:20Maybe take a swing or two?
31:21No, it remained civil.
31:24However, I offered him a king's ransom for Noah's return.
31:28I'm guessing he didn't bite.
31:30No.
31:30You know, I have a feeling that man is after more than money.
31:36I have a feeling he's after revenge.
31:38And to me, he seems more unhinged than he did when he lived in Genoa City.
31:44As crazy as Matt was back then, there is a whole new level of madness that wasn't there
31:51before.
31:52And with Noah caught in the middle of it, it absolutely terrifies me.
31:59Dangerous, Matt.
32:00It's all yours.
32:07It might get Nick to bed.
32:10Is that going to be a problem?
32:11Look, if it gets us out of here, it's all worth it, right?
32:14This means something to you, doesn't it?
32:18Yeah, it's, uh, well, it's just my brother's.
32:20It was, it belonged to him.
32:21It's the Bowie Lightning Bolt.
32:24You know, Aladdin Sane?
32:27Aladdin Sane?
32:28Yeah, why does it not surprise me that you know that?
32:30I have the album on, buying on my flat in London.
32:33Yeah, well, Lady Grinning Soul is the best song.
32:37Well, let's spend the night together is right up there.
32:39And I'm hoping that we will be spending the night together anywhere but here very soon.
32:44You know, Matt Clark brought up the fact that his wife, Sienna, and Noah were involved.
32:58So that's his excuse for blowing up our lives again.
33:02Not that this is just the latest step in his lifelong vendetta against me and Sharon.
33:06He's playing the cheated-on husband card.
33:09If he wants to come after Nick and me, I'm ready.
33:12We both are.
33:14But to bring Noah into the middle of this, almost kill him, now basically take him hostage,
33:21hell is too good for that man.
33:24Matt Clark also said that his wife is an addict.
33:28And that she may try to turn Noah into one, if he wasn't one already.
33:35That's impossible.
33:36That's not who Noah is.
33:38But son, you did say that when he came through Los Angeles last, Noah wasn't himself.
33:45That something was going on.
33:47Yeah, that something was definitely going on with him.
33:49But it wasn't drugs.
33:50All right?
33:51He just got mixed up with Sienna.
33:52He was cheating on Allie.
33:54The guilt hit him pretty hard.
33:56If Sienna had gotten Noah to use drugs, we would have known.
34:00There would have been signs when he was in the hospital.
34:03And even Sienna.
34:05The few times that we have met with her, there was no signs in her behavior that she was using.
34:11As far as I'm concerned, this is Matt just playing mind games with us.
34:15And our son is caught in the middle.
34:17This is a game I don't intend to lose.
34:24Show's over.
34:26That was something.
34:27Yeah.
34:28Seems like Newman the Elder could do a lot of damage for an old fella.
34:30I mean, he's really, he's just a lot of bluster, right?
34:34Still trying to throw his weight around?
34:35What'd you tell him?
34:36I told him a lie that we need for him to think it's the truth, that his grandson, that Noah is living his best life with my wife, and that she may already have turned him into an addict.
34:45Victor Newman joining the party, that adds a new kink.
34:49You worried?
34:50Worried?
34:52I'm inspired.
34:53It's time to level up.
34:59Oh, damn it.
35:00Like I said.
35:01No, no room for negative thinking.
35:03Hey, just think of it as a scene from Touch of Evil.
35:07Okay, well, I prefer my noir on the big screen while eating chocolate-covered raisins.
35:12But this, this is like, uh, it's like she's being caught in some twisted interactive theater piece.
35:19Oh, hey, you know what?
35:20Why don't we open a Touch of Evil escape room once we're out of here?
35:24Now you're talking.
35:27One down, one to go.
35:29Okay, you keep this up.
35:31You may turn me into a positive thinker.
35:33Hey, stick with me, baby.
35:34We're going places.
35:35They are as far away from here as we can get.
35:40You okay?
35:42Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:44Why did you, uh, why did you say this belonged to your brother?
35:48Um, I don't want to talk about that right now, okay?
35:50Not here, right?
35:54Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
35:59Wait, wait, wait, wait.
36:02Here, what's it?
36:03I still can't believe you're here, Dad.
36:19Or else would I be, my son and grandson are in trouble.
36:23I know, but with everything that's going on back home, Kane, the AI threat.
36:28You know that my focus was, and always will be, family first.
36:33Well, I'm sorry that we haven't been more in touch, but we have literally been devoting
36:40every moment to figuring out this mystery of what happened to Noah, from worrying that
36:46we would lose another child to a car accident, to finding out that the crash may have been
36:52deliberate.
36:53Then there was the news of Noah's affair with Sienna.
36:55Then we find out that Matt Clark is alive, and we just haven't come up for air.
37:01To be frank with you, we were very worried.
37:04We didn't hear from you, but you must be terribly stressed now.
37:09Are you okay?
37:11Just listen, you list all of the things that's happened ever since we came back in L.A.
37:16Noah vanishes, so does Sienna.
37:18Then Matt directs us to a shady part of L.A. with a warehouse filled with drug addicts.
37:25We go in there, we look everywhere for him.
37:27We can't find him.
37:28Then some guy walks over and says that he's seen Noah.
37:31So we pay him, and he says that he saw Noah and Sienna all strung out.
37:35Then Matt tells you that Sienna's an addict, and that she's going to corrupt Noah?
37:41It's just too contrived.
37:42It's too easy.
37:43Do you think that the addict was a pliant?
37:47I don't know.
37:48Considering the games that Matt likes to play, I wouldn't put it past him.
37:53I don't trust any of this.
37:55The only thing we do know is that Noah is missing, and Matt is capable of anything.
38:03I am horrified to think where our son may be, and in what condition.
38:08He was really weak when he left the hospital.
38:10And if it was Matt Clark who ran him off the road, and he's already tried to murder our son
38:15once, what's to stop him from doing it again?
38:17How do we even know that he hasn't already succeeded?
38:20We have to force Matt Clark to tell us where our son is.
38:24Noah's life depends on it.
38:29I have an idea.
38:30Noah's life depends on it.
38:31Noah's life depends on it.
38:32Noah's life depends on it.
38:33Noah's life depends on it.
38:34Noah's life depends on it.
38:35Noah's life depends on it.
38:36Noah's life depends on it.
38:37Noah's life depends on it.
38:38Noah's life depends on it.
38:39Noah's life depends on it.
38:40Noah's life depends on it.
38:41Noah's life depends on it.
38:42Noah's life depends on it.
38:43Noah's life depends on it.
38:44Noah's life depends on it.
38:45Noah's life depends on it.
38:46Noah's life depends on it.
38:47Noah's life depends on it.
38:48Noah's life depends on it.
38:49Noah's life depends on it.
38:50Noah's life depends on it.
38:51Noah's life depends on it.
38:52Noah's life depends on it.
38:53Noah's life depends on it.
