Moscow intensifies attacks as strike kills three in Kharkiv region

At least three people were killed and 11 injured in a Russian missile strike on Balakliya in the region of Kharkiv. Four minors were among the wounded.

00:00At least three people have been killed and 11 others injured in an overnight Russian missile
00:06strike on the Ukrainian town of Balaklija in the Kharkiv region, local authorities said on Monday.
00:12The head of the regional military administration said four girls aged 12, 14, 15 and 17 were among
00:19those injured. He added that the missiles struck residential high-rise buildings and vehicles
00:24parked nearby. Russian drones also attacked the Odessa region, damaging energy and port
00:31infrastructure in several cities, according to the regional administration head there.
00:36The attack sparked multiple fires and damaged an unspecified number of civilian vessels.
00:42One person was injured in the strikes. Ukraine's Air Force said Russia fired two ballistic missiles
00:48and 128 strike and decoy drones across the country overnight. Air defenses shot down and jammed
00:5691 drones, while 32 others reached their targets. Russian forces have scaled up aerial attacks that
01:03have brought rolling blackouts across the country on the brink of winter.
