00:07India's under-17 boys went a goal down to Iran,
00:09flipped it 2-1 and booked a spot at the AFC under-17 Asian Cup 2026.
00:15Must win game.
00:16Iran needed only a draw.
00:18And these kids defended that lead for over 40 minutes against a proper Asian heavyweight
00:22to seal India's 10th appearance at the tournament.
00:25That is hope and it's being dumped back into a system that is on life support.
00:31Why?
00:31Because our top league is basically orphaned.
00:34AIFF, the guys who run Indian football put out a 15-year deal for Indian Super League saying,
00:40only mega-rich companies allowed.
00:41You have to be super loaded, pay 37.5 crores every year and also pay for tech, referees,
00:46mood setups and TV quality production.
00:48Everyone looked at this IPL-level demand for a non-IPL mess of a league and said,
00:52LOL, no, the deadline hit on 7th November and literally nobody bid.
00:57Can you imagine that?
00:58So, the 2025-26 ISL season is suspended.

01:07One of the worst self-inflicted disasters in Indian football.

01:39India has clumped to 142 in the FIFA rankings, while the same federation waves a shiny Vision
01:442047 about becoming a serious Asian force.
01:47It would be hilarious if it wasn't this pathetic.

01:51Chaitri, Gurpreet, Chingon and dozens of others had to issue a joint public plea saying their
01:56frustration and anger has turned into desperation, begging the people in charge to just let them
02:01play and restart a proper league.
02:03The suits lock the stadium and toss the keys.
02:05The players are yelling from outside.
02:06This is not a rough patch.
02:08This is a controlled demolition, bad tenders, big ego, zero accountability.
02:12Which brings us back to Ahmedabad.
02:14Those under-17 boys just beat Iran and dragged India into another Asian Cup.
02:18In 19 minutes, they did more for the image of Indian football than this administration has
02:22done in years.
02:23The bare minimum now is to fix the mess, restart a real league, pay people on time and give
02:28this generation a future.
02:30And if this federation still cannot manage that, then it needs to get out of the way and
02:34stop hiding behind glossy roadmaps while teenagers keep carrying Indian football on their backs.
