00:00hey guys so uh this sliding screen door just got today
00:09will give you a little rundown of how what to do to install it this first page here
00:20if you see it it says if you need to increase the height of your door beyond 77 916th
00:28follow these steps this is the one with the extension one sec so here's what they give you
00:42to put right over the top but the first thing if you do have the right size
00:50is you want to make sure this latch that has to be installed
00:56probably do that later on another video um just wanna have that on the inside
01:06now the first thing you do
01:10is put the top part in
01:14and then at the bottom
01:18you'll see oh this is dirty we gotta clean
01:20you'll see this uh little ridge here
01:25so what i did to get that in there first is push the screen up top part first
01:32the top part
01:33and then if you come down here
01:42you'll see
01:43that little well it's pretty dirty but we'll show you
01:56see that wheel right there
01:58now that's just one side the other side is over this little ridge
02:07and the way to tighten that after because this was not closing right
02:11you should get the screw driver
02:20because i'm not going to take the door off now but what have put this screwdriver and this
02:26bottom hole here and you turn that these that were that will force the wheels
02:34from the inside
02:36to push up on this
02:39and then just set it to you to your height
02:41you want to make sure this corner isn't dragging
02:45same thing over here
02:48the corner was dragging now i did put a little
02:52three-in-one oil on this ridge here
02:56because i remember doing that that with the old screen so you can see
03:04nice and smooth
03:11all right
03:15and that's all there is to it here
03:19on the top you'll see
03:22right here
03:24now if you tighten this top
03:27i noticed that the door gets tighter in the frame
03:31so it'll get harder to move back and forth
03:35but anyhow that's the video on the screen type
03:47i believe this was the
03:54the 30 inch door fits five openings 36 inch doors
04:00fit six inch openings this door is adjustable to fit 77 9 16 to 80 inch door heights
04:14and you can see with the extension here you get out your drill
04:20you put this over the top and that's probably another video but since i don't need it maybe i'll just wait
04:30you can see where you put the drill into the make the hole then put the screw in
