In 1974, Stips and van Geest released the band's final album, "Spiral Staircase" (under the band name "Sweet Okay Supersister"), after which the group disbanded. However, in 2000, Supersister reunited for the Progfest festival in Los Angeles, followed by a tour of the Netherlands. An album of studio and live recordings from 1969-73, "M.A.N.", was simultaneously released. However, the reunited group disbanded again after the sudden death of Sacha van Geest in the summer of 2001. In 2010, the three-piece reunited to perform two songs on Dutch television as part of a concert celebrating 50 years of Dutch pop music. The band planned to resume touring, but these plans were cut short by the death of Ron van Eck in July 2011.
