00:00It was this complete and utter shock.
00:02The jury reached a verdict.
00:04Guilty.
00:05Guilty.
00:06Guilty.
00:07Like, they're gonna be guilty on everything.
00:08Todd and Julie Crisley facing 30 years in prison.
00:12It was such a shock.
00:13Well, what?
00:14This is like Twilight Zone.
00:15We can't meet experiences, but we were.
00:17I just felt like my soul, like, left my body.
00:21For the past two and a half years, I have been fighting, trying to get my parents home,
00:25and if I meet the right person who's willing to help, then this whole thing could be over.
00:31I get a call from my mom.
00:32She said that one of the counselors was told this past weekend they needed to be on call
00:37because Crisley was getting pardoned.
00:39Maybe it is happening.
00:40We all kind of went into an excited panic.
00:44Hello.
00:45Hi.
00:45Hey, you think I'm out of the trash, yeah?
00:47No, but I haven't told anybody.
00:49Well, you ain't gonna have to.
00:51The moment they release you, I'm here.
00:53Of course, I hope the pardon happens.
00:55But I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
00:57You gotta get the most powerful man in the world to sign off on something.
01:01It's pretty hard.
01:03I feel like we're right on the cusp.
01:05But I know we're close, and it's gonna happen.
01:20Breaking news.
01:21Former reality TV stars Todd and Julie Crisley, free.
01:25President Trump said he's pardoning them.
01:27Your parents are gonna be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow.
01:32Hold on one second.
01:36I'm so sorry.
01:36This is my mom.
01:37One second.
01:39Hello.
01:40Hi.
01:40This is the Lexington prison calling with Mrs. Crisley.
01:43She would like to talk to you.
01:47Hello.
01:48Hey.
01:49Hey.
01:49Okay.
01:50Do you know who he's pardoning me?
01:51Uh, yeah.
01:51Your Trump signed your paperwork.
01:53It should be...
01:54You should be out of there in three to five hours.
01:56Okay.
01:57What about Dad?
01:58Dad, same thing.
01:59Same thing.
02:01Y'all have both got pardoned.
02:02Trump called us.
02:04You better be praising him when you get out.
02:06Yeah.
02:06Don't you worry.
02:07I am.
02:08Oh, my God.
02:09He called me and said, um, I got a call that said the president would like to speak with
02:13you, and, um, I spoke to him for, like, ten minutes.
02:19He gave y'all full, unconditional, like, full, unconditional pardons so this family can get
02:24their life back.
02:26Oh, my gosh.
02:27That's amazing.
02:28Yeah.
02:29Yeah.
02:30Okay.
02:30So what do I need to be prepared?
02:32Just get ready?
02:33Yeah.
02:33Mama, can you believe it?
02:35Oh, my gosh.
02:36I love it.
02:37I love it.
02:40On the day the pardon happened, I was honestly at an all-time blow.
02:43I just had gotten to a place in life to where I was like, I have worked tooth and nail for
02:49the past two and a half years to try and get my parents home, and it seems like nothing
02:53is working.
02:55I had pretty much just thrown my hands up in the air and said, if it's going to happen,
02:59it's going to happen, but there's nothing more that I can do.
03:02That morning, Grace and I went to play golf.
03:04We left the golf course.
03:05I get a text from Margo, who is one of the president's right-hand girls, and she was like,
03:12I don't want to waste much time.
03:13And the president would like to speak with you.
03:15And I immediately was like, oh, my gosh.
03:19Like, this is happening.
03:20This is happening now.
03:22So we sat in the car, and that's when the president told us that he was signing the
03:28pardon paperwork for both mom and dad.
03:30I'd say it's real this time, because it's not every day that the president calls you.
03:38It was just very chaotic, because we had to go back to the house and start cleaning, getting
03:42the room ready, getting clothes ready, and figuring out who was going to go get who.
03:47I got a call from Savannah saying that the pardons were signed, and five minutes later, it was
03:53all over the news.
03:54All of my friends are, like, tweeting, and it's all over the news.
04:00Look at Frankie and Jason.
04:02I'm telling you, like, I'm just, I was in such shock.
04:06Can you believe it?
04:07Can you believe it?
04:07Huh?
04:08Can you believe it?
04:09No.
04:10I'm freaking out.
04:11Let's go, baby.
04:15Stop.
04:16I'm getting ready.
04:17Do you have any date for anything?
04:18No, I'm just trying to get a ride.
04:19Wow.
04:20I told you that it's lined up.
04:21No, it's not.
04:22He's not available.
04:23I spoke to him.
04:24Steve?
04:25Yeah.
04:26That's right.
04:27Oh, it's all it is.
04:28That's all it is.
04:29That's all it is.
04:30That's all it is.
04:31I spoke to him.
04:32Steve?
04:33Yeah.
04:34Oh, it's all it is.
04:37Oh, it's on the news.
04:38Hello.
04:39With this just in, President Trump is set to pardon reality TV stars Julie and Todd Chrisley.
04:45He will be granting three funds, adding, Trump knows best.
04:50It's official.
04:51He did it today in this conversation, a phone call that he had there with their daughter,
04:55Savannah, who's been very outspoken over the last few years about her parents' conviction.
05:00And now it's official President Trump deciding to pardon Todd and Julie Christie.
05:06She'll be back.
05:07She'll be back.
05:08She won't be back.
05:09She'll be back.
05:10She'll be back.
05:11Her right.
05:12My parents are coming home.
05:16So thank you, Mr. President.
05:18We appreciate you, we support you.
05:21And thank you for putting my family back together.
05:23back together. Fist bump.
05:42It was just very chaotic. Savannah and Tyler went and got my dad. We are here, we're
05:49hiding out. I'm security. I'm freaking out y'all. Dad's coming up. Me, Pamela, my cousin
05:56and her boyfriend went and got my mom. Tyler and I got up. We went and got a rental car
06:02at a rental car place close to the prison. We waited literally all day long. Get any updates,
06:07let me know. Because they're telling me, you know, it's past their five o'clock. So they
06:12basically said if nothing happened by five and then we came up here. So now they're staying
06:17and they're like, well, I'm normally home by now. I mean, we'd get updates every now
06:22and then, but it was like it'd only be like two more hours and then two hours would pass
06:26and then it would be like, it's only going to be two more hours. So it seemed like it
06:29just kept getting pushed back. And then I got word from the White House
06:34that the president was signing the documents at 3 p.m. Eastern time. And he signed it within
06:40that 3 p.m. hour. And then that's when I got the photos. Tell Grayson. We're sending Grayson something.
06:46I'm sending Grayson something. He signed it. He signed it. Literally signing it. Let's go.
06:57Wait, is it? Yep. Let's go. Bad ass. At that point, then we were like, all right,
07:06this is happening like any minute. We're going to continue monitoring the situation,
07:10kind of watching for any cars that are coming in and going, hoping to see Chrisley come out.
07:16We are currently sitting in the Dollar Tree parking lot by the dumpsters in our rental car.
07:24We're trying to hide. There's so much press around. We're literally, what, maybe half a mile from the
07:31prison. And there's probably 30 cars out there waiting. I just got a text that dad should be
07:36out by the four o'clock count. So it is 313. I have fought tooth and nail for this. My dad's my best
07:47friend in the entire world. And I know it sounds stupid, but literally I was like, I've got to get
07:52my dad out before I get married or before I have kids or he can't be almost 70 coming home. Literally
07:5945 minutes out, I think, from bringing him home. Or less. Or less. Or maybe a little more. Who knows?
08:05Listen, let me tell you something. All my fans and friends, I was sitting in my happy place.
08:24When Savannah called me and she said, Nanny, you've got to come home now. I said, oh my God,
08:29what's happened? She said, Nanny, Trump is just part of mom and dad. I was so happy.
08:41I gathered up my coins. I put them in my purse. And I ran upstairs and I throwed my clothes in that
08:48duffel bag. And I was down that road. And I praised God all the way home. And I hate that I'm emotional,
08:57but I can't help you.
09:08Security. It's not a little nasty, but it's okay.
09:10Why y'all got security?
09:12Because my parents are coming home and there's people outside waiting to film them. And they're like,
09:17and I had to hide myself like this.
09:19So they couldn't get me. And I can only take like right here.
09:24So they go like that. And their camera was tilted, but the neighbor like
09:27stopped right in front of them with a black car.
09:30Chase!
09:33What did you say?
09:35Chase, I'm waiting for you.
09:39I'm waiting for Chase.
09:41I said, Chase, I'm waiting for you.
09:43I'm waiting for you.
09:44I'm waiting for you.
09:45I don't know.
09:47Chase!
09:49Chase was supposed to be included, but Chase left the house for some reason.
09:54I mean, at that point, that's on him. If you're not there, you're not there.
09:58Chase has been non-existent during this entire process. I was at the house and that's when Grayson
10:04said he would go get mom, I would go get dad. And that was the best way for it to play out.
10:11No one really had the emotional capacity or want to have to deal with Chase and all of his crazy
10:18emotions and trying to dictate or not help. You also don't get to have a say if you're not
10:25financially helping contribute to this whole process.
10:33Hello.
10:34I love you.
10:35Is my mom here?
10:37No, not yet.
10:41Can you believe they're coming home?
10:46I'm still in shock.
10:50That's why I didn't sleep any last night.
10:52I'm so happy.
10:54You know, your daddy called me when I left that casino and I was throwing my pocketbook
11:00in the car. My phone rang. I looked down, Todd. I said, oh, he said, you happy mama? I said,
11:06I'm so happy. I don't even know if my skin can hold myself. I said, I was crying. I said, not from
11:13being sad, but from joy. And you know, my little granddaughter, she did work very hard.
11:23And I'm going to give her credit for that. But we all worked hard, but we let her be
11:28the better. That's what we let her do. Now, she don't think she did by herself, but we let her be the
11:38better.
11:38I'm focusing on the positive. I'm pissed off for the way that this whole travel situation
11:45has been handled.
11:45Savannah was the one that got to make the decision on who was going to pick up my parents.
11:52I don't think it was handled well.
11:54I guess it happened so fast. I guess it wasn't thinking about, oh, who's going to go get them.
11:59And I wasn't there. Probably if I'd have been home and I demanded to go, I probably would go.
12:06Did you want to be included on the plans to go pick up Julie?
12:09I did want to. I've said that since day one that we took, when we took her, the day that we took her
12:16and I saw her walk up that sidewalk, I said, I hope and pray that that day that she gets out,
12:25that I can be here to see her walk back down that sidewalk and be free.
12:31Why weren't you able to go?
12:33That is just a situation I really don't want to talk about.
12:41My grandparents weren't included in picking them up because, I mean,
12:44it would have been too much for them. I mean, we slept in the car,
12:48we waited for hours and hours and hours. It just would have been too much for them.
12:56But that's okay. We'll get over there. Just think about it. We didn't have to ride and get in all
13:00that mess. It's not about that. I would have loved to have seen my mom or dad walk out of there.
13:04Yeah, I would too, but we're going to get a walk to see them in that door.
13:08But yet Pamela and Tyler get to see it.
13:13Well, who cares a rat's ace about them?
13:17I care about it. I don't.
13:21I just don't think it was right. I think Nanny Pam should have been able to go pick up my mom.
13:25And I should have got to go pick up my son. I agree 100%. What did I tell you on the phone?
13:30That y'all should have been the main priority. And you know, I'm the queen,
13:35so I don't know what the hell they talk about. I think they doped up or something.
13:39I think you might be drinking that same Kool-Aid Savannah's drinking.
13:42No, I'm not. Not me. I don't drink that .
13:46Mm-mm. I love you, Chase. And I am so happy and proud of you.
13:55There ain't nothing that you and I and God can't handle.
13:58Hey, Nanny. I just heard the good news. You might not remember me, but we met at Marshalls.
14:18You were with your granddaughter and I tried to get you to come over to the assisted living where I work.
14:23Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. I'm so excited. I heard that Donald Trump pardoned Todd and Julie,
14:30and I can't believe it. Yeah, he pardoned him yesterday.
14:33Oh, my goodness. I got chills up my spine just hearing that news.
14:40Who was that? A girl that I'm a woman. It works at Marshalls.
14:46Look here.
14:47What is all this? Them's all my friends and fans.
14:54What are they calling you about?
14:56The great news that we just got. They love me and I love them.
15:03How you doing? Well, I'm just overwhelmed with joy. I appreciate all the prayers and all the
15:11emails and especially you.
15:13Yes.
15:15Yes.
15:17Nanny, when I saw it on the TV, you know, when it came up breaking news?
15:21Mm-hmm.
15:22Listen, I got to tell you, I was freaking out.
15:24Well, think about me sitting up there in a damn casino.
15:28Waiting patiently, okay?
15:30Yeah, we slept here in the car and we're waiting for our news.
15:36All right, okay, I love you.
15:37Love you.
15:38Let us know so you can find out because, you know, I'm sitting here and anxiety's built up
15:44really bad. I ain't slept on me.
15:48Hello?
15:48You about got her?
15:50No, I don't know nothing. Everybody's calling me.
15:53Well, we just want to know.
15:54Well, when I know something, I'll tell y'all.
15:58Okay, well, be sure you do. Call us. We want to know. All right, bye.
16:03Bye.
16:04You know, he always got to have a damn attitude.
16:08Or at least Jenny Perron was there. I'm sorry, I think he was signing executive orders.
16:12He was asked about whether he would pardon and let's put up the headline.
16:18Hell, I don't know if they're going to let him out or not.
16:21I kind of want to give you the lay of the land here outside of the prison
16:25here in Pensacola. Kind of take a look to my left here to start and you can kind of see
16:28some of the news media that's gathered here. We've got people from local here in northwest
16:33Florida all the way to some national folks. The papers state that they must be released
16:38immediately. And there was press everywhere at the prison. And the prison was giving me a hard
16:46time about letting dad out. So that's when I went out in front of the prison. Thank you so much.
16:51Thank you. So nice to meet you. Thank you. There were people handing me their babies.
16:58It was absolutely insane. Then I did a press conference with all the
17:02news outlets. My family, we just want to get home. We want to get home. We want to be reunited.
17:08It's going to take a while. They've been behind walls for two and a half years. And they thought
17:14they were going to be here for 12 and seven years. Then I got in touch with the White House,
17:20let them know what was going on. And the director of the Bureau of Prisons, William Marshall. And within
17:2630 minutes from that press conference, probably like Dab was walking out.
17:30It just hit. It just hit. We're good to go. We are good to go. I got to call Grayson.
17:41All right.
17:41It just hit. So you should be getting a call any minute. I just got off the phone with Alice
17:49Johnson, Billy Marshall, who's the director of the Bureau of Prisons, Josh Smith, the deputy director.
17:55Uh, so they've, they've gotten it done. Okay. All right. Bye.
18:03Can you believe it? Oh, thank the Lord.
18:07Oh my God. Oh my God.
18:11Should I flip it around at all? Or just let him?
18:13Let's go.
18:15I'll let the dodged right now.
18:16Hang on. I got it back.
18:25Oh, it's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
18:31We are following the Navy police out of the prison. The last time I have to see this place.
18:47I know I'm already crying.
18:57I can't.
18:59Oh my God.
19:01I have to be almost pulled behind half of her.
19:07Are they coming out that door? Oh, they're just going to come out there.
19:12Video it.
19:17Video it, don't go.
19:21Video it, don't go.
19:24Rob on a bell.
19:44All right.
19:47Okay, put that, put that, um, put that thing up.
19:55We're ready.
19:59Todd, you're out.
20:04Oh my God.
20:06It's done.
20:12Oh my God.
20:17They're, they're getting.
20:21The last time I was in this space was when I was dropping my dad off at prison.
20:26And now I'm in this space watching him come back to us. Watching him come home. Watching him have
20:34a clean slate. So it's extremely overwhelming to realize where we've once been and now where we're at.
20:43And now I'm in this space.
20:58Hello, President Trump.
21:00Thank you very much.
21:02Congratulations. You have a great family. They fought hard, your son and your daughter.
21:08And they fought hard and good luck to them. You're looking good.
21:15Well, I just want you to know that we have been huge Trump supporters forever.
21:20But you've given me back the only thing I've ever cared about in my life, which is my wife and my
21:25children.
21:26I just want you to have a good life. Your daughter was fantastic. She did such a job. And you're so
21:30awesome. That's your best, that's your best work.
21:33It's all, exactly, 100%. I just want to tell you from the bottom of my heart that I am grateful and
21:39I will always be grateful.
21:40That's fantastic. You go have a good life.
21:43Thank you so much. Thank you. God bless.
21:48How are you guys feeling?
21:51Just ready to see her.
22:02Okay, don't say anything. Like, don't talk.
22:23Right there!
22:42Oh my God.
22:45Watching my mom walk out is an amazing feeling. I mean, it's what she's been waiting on for three years.
23:04Hand her the phone! Hand her the phone!
23:06Hand her the phone!
23:07I guess she's a funny way to talk to you.
23:14Oh my gosh.
23:16Oh my gosh. Okay.
23:19All right. When will you be home?
23:20I can't wait for 60.
23:21I know.
23:22We can't hear you.
23:23Um, I don't, I don't know. Maybe 6 out of 12.30.
23:27I've missed her. I don't think.
23:28Okay.
23:29Okay.
23:33We're on our way home.
23:41Seeing mom and dad see each other for the first time is extremely overwhelming and emotional because they didn't see each other for years.

34:47for so long
35:10she doesn't know
35:36okay
35:37Oh my god, I can't ask this for some reason.
35:47No!
35:49Yeah, we're not doing right.
35:53Oh, hey.
35:57Hey, you're like, no.
35:59Oh my god.
36:01Oh my god.
36:07Oh my god.
36:09Oh my god.
36:11It was 48 hours.
36:13Yeah.
36:15Your phone is yours.
36:17Yeah.
36:19When my dad walked in, seeing he and my mom reconnect, that was the moment that I've been waiting for.
36:27And I know they miss each other, we all miss them, and now everybody's finally back together.
36:37I mean, it's the best gift that God could have given me.
36:40How about I cannot even tell you how happy I was.
36:43And when I saw him and Julie together, that broke my heart.
36:50It broke my heart, but not anyone that couldn't be repaired because of the joy that I've seen with them.
37:03Well, he survived.
37:05He survived.
37:06We have done that.
37:07Yeah.
37:08We have done that.
37:11I didn't know how to be with a dark kid at Walmart.
37:13I know.
37:14But I'm willing to try it to.
37:17Get away from me.
37:18Like, I can't even imagine how they're feeling.
37:22It's...
37:23It's amazing.
37:25This is awesome.
37:34I'd say you could get your jewelry on right now, but Savannah's got it all on.
37:38Well, that's it.
37:43I gotta get home before y'all kill each other.
37:45I'm glad I got home.
37:47I'm not fighting with nobody.
37:49Best thing is everybody forgive and move on.
37:52And start a new life.
37:53Start a new beginning.
37:55Have I not reached out to Savannah?
37:57Yes, yes.
37:58Okay.
37:59How many times?
38:02What is that you got in your mouth?
38:04It's dead.
38:05Get...
38:06Get it out.
38:07Get it out.
38:08Get it out.
38:09Get it out.
38:10Get it out.
38:11Oh, my Lord.
38:12Go back.
38:13Oh, I'm not going back.
38:14So, Savannah.
38:15Don't.
38:16Tell me about the last 48 hours.
38:17My job is done.
38:18I have accomplished the goal that I set out to accomplish.
38:21So, I'm going to bed, and I am excited to wake up in the morning in the same household
38:36as my parents, and who knows, maybe tackle another mission after this.
38:45Our family is back together, and I know how much they miss each other now that they're
38:51able to, like, give each other a hug and be together and not have to worry about everything.
38:58I mean, it's just a beautiful moment.
38:59Can you believe it?
39:00How long have you envisioned this day?
39:13I never thought about when it was going to happen.
39:18I always believed that God would provide and make a way.
39:24So, all the guys in my dorm, they came running up to the front, and they were all standing
39:28there when I was getting ready to walk out, and they were chanting, and they said,
39:31Don't forget us.
39:32Don't forget us.
39:33Don't leave us behind.
39:34And I really, it was a very emotional moment because these are guys that I've been with
39:42now for 27, 28 months, and they've become my friends.
39:47I'm excited that my children have survived the most traumatic thing that's ever happened
39:52in our life.
39:55I'm excited for the world to finally know the truth.
39:59What was it like seeing Julie?
40:01Well, I know that for me, that I have never loved but one woman in my life, and that's Julie.
40:07And I know the bond that she and I have, and that the time was not going to break that bond,
40:13but it didn't mean that it hurt any less.
40:16There were days that I felt like that I would not be able to get through that day.
40:21And I would go and work out, and I would walk, and I would pray.
40:25And I never felt like I was disconnected from her.
40:30I always felt like I was with her every day anyway because I kept her in my heart at all times.
40:36And then now that you're out, what are we doing?
40:42I'm gonna back out.
40:53When I'm finished, I will have opened up to you about everything.
40:56I will have given you everything in this chapter of our life, and then I will close it, and we will open a new one.
41:01How can Savannah know what place I'm in when Savannah doesn't even know me?
41:05I love her, but stay the out of my business.
41:07I just want her to leave me alone.
41:09Like, it's ridiculous.
41:10I can't go see my mom and my dad without it being uncomfortable because of her.
41:14We're blessed to have our family back, and we're blessed to be coming back to television
41:19because we do have a much bigger story to tell.
41:22Julie and Todd being out does feel different.
41:25I have not seen Todd.
41:27I figure when he gets ready, he'll give me a call.
41:30What has it been like with having your parents home now?
41:33It sucks.
41:34You missed your dad, didn't you?
41:35I did.
41:36It's not when you get on your cleaning work high.
41:39You know, the rain's gonna let up, and the sunshine's gonna come out eventually.
41:43It's a lot.
41:44First few days were really tough, you know?
41:49Especially my kids.
41:50I think they thought that I was gonna be exactly the same as before I left.
41:56You can't go through something like that and not be changed.
41:59That's what I asked.
42:00I asked you, did you have one?
42:02And then you said, I don't know.
42:03You didn't ask me.
42:04You said, where's my girl?
42:05Why are we yelling?
42:06I found out through TikTok that my family was doing the show, and I was not a part of it.
42:12I think it was intentionally done the way it was done to leave me out.
42:17I'm getting pissed off.
