00:00So we're here at the San Diego Zoo watching mother orangutan Inda and baby Aisha, five and a half months old, becoming independent.
00:14Mom is always staying close by and always keeping an eye on her, but she's definitely letting
00:32Aisha go out on her own more.
00:35She's pushing her to start climbing and teaching her those vital skills she's going to start
00:39needing as she gets older.
00:41Other members of the group have been starting to interact with Aisha, they've been coming
01:02up and checking her out.
01:04Not too much actual physical touching yet, but they're definitely checking her out and
01:09mom is keeping a close eye on those interactions.
01:15Aisha is starting to mouth foods and explore things with her mouth.
01:32She doesn't have her teeth yet, so she's still nursing, but pretty soon she'll start eating
01:36solid foods.
01:39She's really starting to gain independence and climb around and we saw some great movements
01:49of Aisha on her own with mom kind of pushing her and telling her where to go and what to
01:56do.
01:57There's one that goes Informa.
01:58So it's just another thing we saw in the doctor.
01:59That's our story.
02:00It's so beautiful.
02:01So it's beautiful.
02:02Thank you so much to the doctor.
02:03If you want to ask her to say, how can she do it?
02:04We see your witnesses.
02:05We see your witnesses.
02:06We see you.
02:07What are the places that have seen, too?
02:08We see you!
02:09Bye, bye.
