US President Donald Trump has sparked outrage after declaring a long-term asylum freeze for countries “like Somalia” following the DC National Guard shooting. Trump also called Minnesota Governor Tim Walz “retarded” again and criticized Somali immigrants, claiming many come from “out-of-control” countries that don’t function properly. He defended his stance on denying entry to what he called “people that shouldn’t be in our country,” targeting 19 nations he labels as problematic.

00:00On immigration, your administration made a lot of moves throughout the last few days
00:06after we know that Afghan National is the suspected shooter of these National Guardsmen.
00:10Yeah, people that shouldn't be in our budget this week.
00:13So you announced that asylum...
00:15And that includes Somalians, and it includes plenty of others.
00:19How long does your administration plan to pause asylum into the U.S.?
00:22I think a long time.
00:24Can you give any kind of time?
00:26We don't want those people. We have enough problems. We don't want those people.
00:28Is that a year, two years?
00:32No time limit. But it could be a long time.
00:35We don't want those people. Do you understand that?
00:37I understand.
00:37Do you understand it?
00:38I understand.
00:39Who are you with?
00:39I'm with NewsNation.
00:41NewsNation. NewsNation. Great.
00:43Let me just tell you something. We don't want those people. Does that make sense?
00:47You know why we don't want them?
00:48Because many of them are no good, and they shouldn't be in our country.
00:51What do you mean by those people?
00:53The people from different countries that are not friendly to us,
00:57countries that are out of control themselves, countries like Somalia that have virtually
01:02no government, no military, no police, all they do is go around killing each other.
01:07Then they come into our country and tell us how to run our country.
01:10We don't want them.
01:11What are you talking about when you're talking about?
01:12You've got to talk up.
01:14She said, how many countries?
01:18Is there a list?
01:19Well, I guess we gave you 19, right?
01:22That is probably more than that.
01:23Is that what you mean when you mean third world countries, those 19?
01:26No, I don't think they're all third world, but in many cases they are third world.
01:31They're not good countries.
01:33They're very crime-driven countries.
01:36They're countries that don't do a good job.
01:37They're countries that don't register from the standpoint of success.
01:40And we frankly don't need their people coming into our country telling us what to do.
01:46We need to talk about Dina.
01:47I'm talking about like Somalia where you have a congressman goes around telling everybody
01:51about our constitution, and yet she supposedly came into our country by marrying her brother.
01:57Well, if that's true, she shouldn't be a congressman, and we should throw the hell out of our country.
02:01Off of that, in that same post, you mentioned Tim Walls, and you called him what many Americans
02:06do fine, and if it's a war retarded, do you stand by that claim of calling Tim Walls retarded?
02:12Yeah, I think there's something wrong with him, absolutely.
02:14I'm sure.
02:15Do you have a problem with him?
02:17You know what?
02:18I think there's something wrong with him.
02:19Anybody that would do what he did, anybody that would allow those people into his state
02:24and pay billions of dollars out to Somalia, we give billions of dollars to Somalia.
02:30It's not even a country because it doesn't function like a country.
02:33It's got a name, but it doesn't function like a country.
02:36Yeah, there's something wrong with Walls.
02:38Mr. President, you said that you might denaturalize some Americans' business.
02:43Can you talk about that?
02:44You mean people that are in here that shouldn't be here?
02:46That became Americans.
02:47Well, we'll see.
02:48I mean, yeah, we have criminals that came into our country, and they were naturalized maybe
02:54through a fight with somebody that didn't know what they were doing.
02:58And if I have the power to do it, I'm not sure that I do, but if I do, I would denaturalize
03:03absolutely.
03:04What do you mean by reverse migration?
03:09It means get people out that are in our country.
03:12Get them out of here.
03:13I want to get them out.
03:14We got a lot of people in our country that shouldn't be here.
03:16And they came in through Biden, and he was the worst president in the history of our country.
03:21But the single biggest thing he did was allow millions, the worst, allow millions of people
03:28into our country that shouldn't be here.
03:30Drug dealers, prisons were opened up and allowed to come into our country.
