00:04It's so funny. Fauci hit you up.
00:06Joe Rogan is walking back comments he made on the Joe Rogan experience about the COVID-19 vaccine.
00:11Rogan previously said on his popular Spotify podcast that young, healthy people should skip getting vaccinated for COVID-19
00:17because he doesn't think they need to worry about it.
00:20Rogan's remarks came under fire, going so far as being addressed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease doctor.
00:26During an interview on NBC's Today, Fauci said Rogan's comments were incorrect.
00:31You are propagating the outbreak because it is likely that you, even if you have no symptoms,
00:37that you may inadvertently and innocently then infect someone else.
00:42Now Rogan is clarifying his controversial comments.
00:44I'm not an anti-vax person.
00:46In fact, I said I believe they're safe and I encourage many people to take them.
00:52My parents were vaccinated.
00:53He continued, I just said, if you're a young, healthy person, you don't need it.
00:57Their argument was you need it for other people.
00:59That makes more sense.
01:01Rogan argued that the situation got out of control due to media coverage and, quote, clickbait.
01:05I'm not a doctor.
01:06I'm a f***ing moron.
01:07And I'm a cage fighting commentator who's a dirty stand up comedian.
01:11But I'm not a respected source of information, even for me.
