00:00Hello everyone, I am very excited to introduce our guest today, Gayatri Tyagarajan.
00:25She is a visionary founder of Kinhood Technologies, a hyper-local platform that connects like-minded people with experiences.
00:35We will talk about Gayatri's journey so far, her story and what inspires her and her vision for Kinhood.
00:42Welcome Gayatri.
00:43Let's talk about you. Let's talk about your childhood.
00:47Who influenced you? Who was your role model during the early years?
00:51I've actually been influenced a lot by my granny, who was a very social person.
00:58She was somebody who never did only her school.
01:02She studied only till third standard or something like that, never could actually come out.
01:06But she was a very bold person, very social person, very caring person who wanted to do a lot in terms of supporting a lot of people.
01:14Her attitude towards life, you know, like carefree things to actually say that, let me try, you know, like to do something very different.
01:24Meeting strangers, going to new places.
01:26She was the first woman to actually, you know, like in my entire extended family circle to be able to drive a car in 1930s.
01:34So, it was really very different from a person of that background to be able to actually do that.
01:40So, I've been influenced a lot by her and I actually see her, it used to be very good.
01:46But apart from that, generally, you know, like in your common walk of life, when you actually meet a lot of people,
01:51everyone has something good about them that you can learn and pick up from.
01:55So, my colleagues, my bosses, people who work for me in my teams over the last 25-30 years,
02:04each of them have their own nice thing that you can actually pick up.
02:08And if you are willing to actually see the goodness in people, then you will always have, you know, like lots of people to get inspired by.
