Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover are teaming up to write a Lando Calrissian series for Disney+. The deal was made prior to the Writers' Strike, which began in May.

00:06The deal was made prior to the writer's strike, which began in May.
00:10Justin Simeon, who was previously attached to develop Lando, exited the Star Wars project prior to the duo signing on.
00:17Disney announced that the Lando series was in the works back in December 2020.
00:21Donald Glover, who will also star in the show, previously played Lando Calrissian in 2018's Solo A Star Wars Story.
00:27While the film didn't perform well at the box office, Glover's performance was well-received.
