Lindsay Lohan spent her Fourth of July holiday defending Donald Trump on Twitter and praising the first family, telling her followers to "stop bullying him."

00:23The parents' wish to seek experimental treatment has become a global news story

00:27with both Trump and the Pope weighing in.

00:31Lohan replied to the tweet and wrote,

00:33This is our president. Stop hashtag bullying him and start trusting him.

00:37Thank you personally for supporting hashtag the USA.

00:41Lohan also tweeted that Donald, Ivanka, Melania and Donald Trump Jr. are all kind people,

00:46adding, as an American, why speak poorly of anyone?

00:50This past October, during the 2016 presidential campaign,

00:54Trump's 2004 interview with Howard Stern,

00:56in which the two discussed, quote,

00:58how hot Lohan is, amongst other things, resurfaced.
