00:00Kristen Stewart is getting married.

00:03On Tuesday's episode of SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show,

00:06the Spencer star announced that she's engaged to her partner,

00:09screenwriter Dylan Meyer, saying,

00:11We're marrying. We're totally going to do it.

00:13The 31-year-old actor said previously that she'd met Meyer on the set of a movie,

00:17but lost touch until they reconnected at a mutual friend's birthday party

00:20six years later in the summer of 2019.

00:23They've been spotted together, occasionally sporting rings

00:26that generated engagement rumors in July of this year ever since.

00:30Of the engagement, Stewart said,

00:31I wanted to be proposed to,

00:32so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it.

00:36It was very cute. She did very well.

00:38According to NBC News, Stewart's hopes for the wedding include

00:41a relaxed, intimate ceremony in her and her fiancé's hometown.

00:45I want to stay home. I want to be in L.A. so everyone can come.

00:49And I want it to be pretty chill.

00:50I don't want anyone walking anyone down any aisles.

00:53Like, we're just going to stand, do vows.

00:56Meyer previously wrote the screenplay for the Netflix teen drama,

00:59Moxie, which was directed by Amy Poehler.

01:02Meanwhile, Stewart is gearing up for Spencer,

01:04directed by Pablo Lorraine,

01:05and telling the story of Princess Diana's decision

01:07to end her marriage to Prince Charles.
