00:00hello sir thank you so much for your time I appreciate you thank you very
00:04much I was very excited to see what you might be wearing tonight because the
00:06last time I think you're on a red carpet in London it was at the London
00:09Film Festival and your Hylian leather top made headlines so once again you are very
00:16smartly dressed did you appreciate the reaction you got from your London Film Festival look now?
00:20yeah I mean it was it was a fun night and it was a night of leather and I thought
00:34I'd go in a different direction tonight it's a little softer a little silky
00:39tonight that's that's the mood I was in I love the way that it's been described
00:47in marketing as kind of like teasing information the best description being a
00:51Dom pop and that's a wonderful phrase how did what does that mean to those who
00:55might not be aware of what Hylian means as a Dom? well it's a sub Dom BDSM story but
01:06packaged in a in a romantic comedy format so it's it's it's it's quite specific to
01:16this subculture but with some universal components to it and aim and that people
01:22might recognize from from rom-com so that's how it became a dom-com yeah
01:28the subject matter of the film is so unique and then like mainstream cinema mainstream films don't really have this as a topic
01:34was it an education for you coming in were you excited to like meet these people that are involved in the world and
01:40like break down some boundaries yeah very much so and we were incredibly lucky to
01:46have GBMCC the gay biker motorcycle club not all their members but a few of them in
01:54the movie and a couple of guys from the London King scene so that was very it was
02:01instrumental in shaping the world and giving it authenticity and they were an
02:07integral part of it from the genesis of it from when Harry was first starting
02:10writing the screenplay he met up with them and made sure that like to get their
02:15input and then obviously throughout shooting it it was tremendously helpful
02:19for us and kind of giving it some authenticity and again unique subject matter and
02:28think different potentially risky things he's showing on screen obviously as well
02:33were there any big swings or or brave decisions you feel you made and with your co-star on set as
02:38well that you're glad that you did you're like you're happy with the results of those big decisions
02:44I didn't feel brave at all to be honest with you because it was it was such a such a fantastic script and I
02:52believed in Harry or both Harry's but Harry Leighton who wrote and directed it so much even though it's his first feature
03:00um I had just instilled so much confidence in me and uh it didn't feel scary or risky at all I was just like
03:09incredibly exhilarated to to be part of it and to get to tell this story so I honestly like had no moments on set where I was like
03:17what are we doing what's going on here it could be even if you know a big orgy scene or whatever it was it's just like
03:23they all every moment every scene of that movie of the screenplay was so exciting to me and such a key
03:31component to telling the story so I loved every second of it congratulations on the film and on your
03:37nominations tonight as well thank you so much for your time oh thank you very much appreciate it thank you have fun
