New footage from Iran reveals alleged Israeli cruise missile strikes during the 12-day war, five months after the ceasefire. Iran claims its air defenses remained operational despite damage and personnel losses, while Al Arabiya reports “classified footage” showing direct hits on Iranian air units. Israeli data indicates 900 targets were struck and 1,500 sorties flown in Operation Rising Lion, including the destruction of half of Iran’s missile arsenal. This newly released footage sparks debate over the conflict’s scale and regional stability.

00:00Iran has released new, previously unseen footage from the 12-day war between Israel and Iran,
00:23a conflict that ended five months ago, but continues to reveal new layers of information.
00:30The footage, aired by Iran's state network SSNN, claims to show Israeli cruise missile strikes
00:36hitting multiple targets deep inside Iranian territory.
00:40And according to Iranian officials, the videos are proof that their air defense forces knew
00:45they were a target, but did not abandon their posts.
00:49But Iran wasn't the only one broadcasting.
00:52Saudi-owned Al Arabiya also reported on the same material, describing it as classified
00:57footage that captures direct hits on Iranian air defense units.
01:05This is the first time the public is seeing this level of detail from the June conflict,
01:09a short but intense exchange that shook the region and involved some of the most advanced
01:14military systems on both sides.
01:17As part of the broadcast, SSNN also aired an interview with Iran's deputy commander of air
01:23defense operations. He acknowledged that some systems were destroyed and personnel were killed.
01:29But he insisted that Iran's integrated air defense network never stopped operating,
01:34not even for a moment, during the entire 12 days.
01:38He added another detail, one that Iran is highlighting as a sign of preparedness.
01:43He said that hours before the Israeli strikes even began, Iranian air defenses were already tracking
01:49unusual aerial activity over the country's western region. This comes alongside previously released
01:55data from the IDF, which gives us a clearer picture of the scale of Israel's operation,
02:00known as Operation Rising Lion. According to Israel, its forces struck around 900 targets
02:07across Iran during the campaign. The Israeli Air Force reportedly carried out 1,500 sorties,
02:14a massive air operation compressed into less than two weeks. Among the targets destroyed were roughly
02:20200 missile launchers, about half of Iran's ballistic missile arsenal at the time. Israel also claims
02:27its strikes damaged or destroyed more than 35 percent of Iran's known missile production facilities.
02:34And it didn't end there. Other hits included air defense systems, radar arrays, surface-to-air missile sites,
02:41command centers and missile storage depots, a total of nearly 1,500 components tied to Iran's strategic
02:48defense network. For both sides, this footage and the data behind it are more than just documentation.
02:55They're a part of an ongoing information battle, each trying to shape the narrative of what happened
03:01and what might come next. And five months after the ceasefire, the release of these videos shows that
03:07the war may have ended, but the story of that war is still unfolding.
