In this video, I'll show how to allow apps and programs through firewall on Windows, which in many cases involves adding a firewall exception on Windows, and also how to add a Windows security exclusion (Windows Defender exclusion, or Windows Defender exception), which is sometimes also required to run executables or other programs that may be blocked at the same time by both the Windows firewall and the Windows security. Adding an exception to Windows Firewall is important for playing some video games, and even some trustworthy software sometimes are not recognized as trustworthy by Windows.
There are two parts to this video, and both parts should be followed in order to ensure the exception. The first is adding a firewall exception, and the second is adding a Windows security exclusion (which is basially the same thing as an exception, and also needs to be done for Windows security).
