00:00I know you've given us generously more time than we should have.

00:05How did you feel about the Leader of the Opposition's response to you,

00:09including her mocking and mimicking you?

00:12And then she put it, talking to you woman to woman.

00:17There was a leak of the budget document 45 minutes

00:20before I stood up to deliver my speech.

00:22One of my worries is that the opposition had all that time

00:27to go through all of the documents

00:29something which you do not usually have the luxury of

00:32and I've had to respond to a budget before as a shadow Chancellor.

00:38And so I was concerned that there would be a forensic analysis on the floor

00:42which you wouldn't usually have.

00:44But there wasn't any of that.

00:46There wasn't an economic argument in Kemi Badenoch's response to my budget.

00:51And so if she wants to resort to personal attacks, that's fine.

00:54That's her choice.

00:55But I want to focus on the issues of cutting the cost of living,

00:59cutting NHS waiting lists and cutting the debt and borrowing.
