'The Big Bang Theory,' wrapped up after 12 seasons. Here's a break down of all of it.
Transcript
00:00That's how the series finale of TV's longest-running
00:10multi-camera comedy in history, The Big Bang Theory, wrapped up after 12 seasons.
00:15So, let's break it all down. First, the series finale revealed that Leonard and
00:19Penny are expecting a baby.
00:21Someone's gonna figure it out. Why don't we just tell people?
00:23No, it's too early. I haven't even wrapped my head around it.
00:25I have. My head is wrapped.
00:27So, does this mean a spinoff following the pair's adventures in Parenthood could be in the future?
00:32Well, Johnny Galecki told The Hollywood Reporter,
00:34No, I don't want to be too definitive, but then I was in my weird way.
00:38I don't think it would be a disaster, but it wouldn't be Big Bang.
00:41And Kaley Cuoco added,
00:42Uh, no, but if creator Chuck Lorre asked me, I would highly consider it, because I don't say no to Chuck.
00:47As for if the show's creator has any ideas gestating for a spinoff following any of the beloved characters,
00:52he told THR, you can't help but gestate a little.
00:55Meanwhile, Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik's Sheldon and Amy won the Nobel Prize in Physics,
01:00and their ending marked some personal growth.
01:02I love you all. And I love you.
01:07Essentially, the finale centered on emotional closure in the characters' lives and in them growing as individuals.
01:14Lorre said of the ending,
01:15It made the finale about the characters, as opposed to some big cataclysmic ending
01:19or everybody packing their bags and moving out and going different places.
01:23This felt much more rewarding for us. I love the way it ended.

01:30Until next time, for The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Tiffany Taylor.
01:33Exactly.
01:34I'm my character from Taylor Taylor.
