00:00I've always been a dreamer a believer and a doer and I think the way I was
00:07raised I promised myself when I left that house I would never go back and I
00:13would be something successful don't know if I really knew what that meant and I
00:20found drag just to be widely compelling I went to my very first drag show and I
00:25thought well this is bizarre completely I seen the audience's face heard the
00:31applause and they just the way they were engaged in this act I thought well hmm
00:37I'd like to try this the first time I put on the wig every insecurity every doubt
00:44every fear diminished the wig is a cape it's like Bruce Wayne and Batman kind of
00:49life I felt like confident you know because for so long I was like so afraid
00:57of the world and being judged and being labeled and I just kind of went into this
01:03like really weird awkward like shell and drag change that for me yeah it was like
01:11I always reference the movie Wizard of Oz because and it for Dorothy it took a man
01:20the wizard to tell her she always had the power and for me it was the wig it was
01:27the makeup so if I can now be that man behind the curtain and share my passion
01:33with the children of beyond belief and now the world I fully am living my
01:39purpose
