09:23champion, C.M. Pong, it has been quite the historic past two years in Survivor Series for this
09:36man, back in 2023, made his return to WWE after a decade, and then last year, remember
09:44Wade, he entered War Games for the first time in his career, doing a favor for Roman Reigns
09:50to help that match, and help them win, and once again, C.M. Pong, an absolute legend
09:58in this industry, the world heavyweight champ, leading the charge from the very front, and
10:06much like his wife earlier tonight, C.M. Pong entering the ring by climbing to the top of
10:12the cage, well the door was wide open, but C.M. Pong ain't the kind of guy to do things
10:18the easy way, is he? C.M. Pong who won the world championship, which is vacated of course
10:25by the injury to Seth Rollins. He beat Jey Uso back at Saturday night's main event on the
10:32first day of this month, and he looks to culminate the month of November with a win inside War Games.
10:40Heal a window into the psyche of a competitor, who takes the option of kicking things off
10:47in the War Games match for their team. Sounds a little out there to me, but someone like C.M. Pong
10:54oozes that defiance and stubbornness that may well lead his team through to victory inside the War Games cave.
11:03We talked about Pong's history inside War Games. Back in 2011, he beat Alberto Del Rio to win
11:10a world championship. In 2012, he beat John Cena and Ryback. That was the night that The

14:00He was involved in this matchup back at NXT a number of years ago.
14:04The current world champion, and the man who many believe is the future of the company, Paul Heyman, calls him a future main event Wrestlemania performer, Braun Breaker.
14:31The clock is underway.
14:41These two will battle for five minutes.
14:43Now, remember, Breaker's team has the advantage, so the next man to enter the matchup will be from Breaker's team,
14:50because that's because Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul knocked off the Usos in the advantage of War Games matchup this past Monday on Raw.
14:57Nice takedown by Breaker.
14:58Just massive power from Breaker. There was no technique to that whatsoever, just sheer force, and CM Punk couldn't match it.
15:06You have to think quick here, CM Punk.
15:09You're gonna get eaten alive before the numbers game also eats you alive.
15:13And now just the powerhouse, just having his way with Punk, and now Breaker, who's very animated in the ring.
15:21I've said before, probably short of Happy Meal.
15:24I wouldn't go that far, certainly not within earshot of Braun Breaker, but I will agree that Braun Breaker has zero respect for perceived leaders or power structures in this industry.
15:35Braun Breaker is here to take this kingdom for himself.
15:39Doesn't that sound familiar to the man that he's in the ring with?
15:45The two have locked up numerous times over the past 12 months.
15:48The Vigan have been a major thorn in the side of CM Punk.
15:52And look at that Breaker now.
15:54The slamming Punk.
15:56No pinfalls here.
15:57This is just about peak downs.
15:59War Game match doesn't officially begin to all 10 men are in the ring.
16:02Bristle with fear every time I look at this explosive human being that is Braun Breaker.
16:09And Punk could be looking at a future contender for his championship.
16:13And Breaker with three next beam runs into that heel kick by Punk.
16:18Oh my god.
16:19We talked about power from Breaker.
16:21Well, that was all technique and timing from CM Punk.
16:24That was superb.
16:25And it needed to be to stop Breaker in his tracks.
16:27Yeah, Breaker preventing himself from being tossed into the cage.
16:31And now CM Punk blocks as well.
16:34I'll tell you right now, we've seen CM Punk time and time again take off big bad bullies in this game.
16:41Including the likes of Gunther, who can forget that matchup that they had at SummerSlam this year.
16:47And Punk got beaten down for about 90% of the match.
16:51But still managed to play a long win.
16:53Oh my god.
16:54Military pressing CM Punk with ease.
16:58But Punk, though, able to slide behind and now deliver a kick to the hamstring.
17:02Great strategy by Punk.
17:03Take the power base away from Breaker.
17:06That's right.
17:06You've got to hit and move if you're CM Punk.
17:08Don't get too close to Braun Breaker for too long.
17:10You simply cannot win the power game.
17:12Yeah, Punk needs to create space between him and Breaker.
17:16Off the axe handle.
17:17Punk going to go up to the top rope in the other corner.
17:20Well, how smart has CM Punk been here?
17:22It just shows exactly the kind of experience that's made him a multiple-time world champ, including right now.
17:27Oh, look at that though.
17:28Breaker just picking Punk out of the air and just tossing it with ease.
17:35Throughout CM Punk's career, despite the litany of competitors he's been in the ring with,
17:41he's never met anyone quite like Braun Breaker.
17:44Braun Breaker just redefining the game before our eyes.
17:47I mean, Breaker's got everything, right?
17:49No doubt about it.
17:50He's got everything but a world championship, and I would not bet on him not changing that suit.
17:57Well, CM Punk's not going to give that title away easily.
18:00Everything he went through to climb the mountain to finally win the championship.
18:03And another throw by Breaker.
18:05This is just pure dominance at this point, and we've had the flurries from Punk.
18:10And, Wade, the problem now for Punk is this.
18:13He's getting the hell beat out of him by Breaker.
18:14The next guy in the ring's on Breaker's team.
18:17Punk's going to face a two-on-one situation.
18:19I don't know how he's going to survive.
18:20Yeah, we're going to get the tenacity and the fortitude of CM Punk tested here.
18:24You really need to get the upper hand if you're CM Punk.
18:27Try and take Breaker down to give yourself some shot of when competitor two-on-one comes in.
18:34Because if it's two-on-one at that point, you may lose this thing for your team before it ever really gets going.
18:41Oh, Punk exploding.
18:48Yeah, and that's part of the problem with youth.
18:50That enthusiasm of Braun Breaker.
18:52You sometimes get a little ahead of yourself.
18:54You start getting overconfident.
18:57The crowd now, 46,000 here in San Diego, trying to rally CM Punk.
19:03Well, they better start rallying him because Breaker's getting some help here in ten seconds.

19:21Oh, things just got real bad for CM Punk.
19:27CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have history inside Cage's league.
19:41Remember what they did to each other inside Hell in a Cell a couple of years ago.
19:46And McIntyre is marching into war games here tonight for the third time in his career.
19:53While Drew McIntyre and CM Punk was 2024's blood feud in WWE and now bearing a hole into CM Punk is 280 pounds of snarling anger and vitriol who blames Punk in part for destroying his career over the past two or three years.
20:19Well, McIntyre's pissed off at everybody in this match, right?
20:21Everybody on Punk's team has done something to derail Drew McIntyre and his championship aspirations.
20:29Cheated, sneaked, double-crossed McIntyre at every opportunity and now there is hell to pay inside a war game.
20:37Yeah, this is a three-minute beatdown for McIntyre and Breaker on CM Punk who just tries to survive now until he gets some help in a matter of minutes.
20:46Well, Punk's just got to keep swinging and hope for the best because the second these two get the upper hand, there's no way back.
20:55McIntyre, listen, he's got no love lost for anybody out of the Vision or any Brock Lesnar or anybody else, Wade.
21:00This is all about getting his hands on everybody on Punk's team.
21:03This is all Drew McIntyre ever wanted.

21:12Oh, not going for the eyeballs of CM Punk.
21:14He's trying to couch his eyeballs out.
21:16Yeah, there's complete hatred from these two after what they went through a number of years ago and how McIntyre made it so personal when it came to Punk and his wife and his family.
21:24God, you're stuck inside a war game.
21:25You're now going to be partially sighted when things are only going to get worse if you see him, Punk.
21:32Punk bounced off the cage and just collapses into a heap in the middle of the ring.
21:38Mindset of McIntyre just continues to spiral, technically suspended from WWE for an attack on a referee.
21:47It's not the mindset of anyone you want to be locked inside war games with.
21:51Well, to be fair, suspended from SmackDown, but Paul Heyman was allowed to choose anybody on the roster.
21:57And even though he's suspended, McIntyre is still part of the WWE roster.
22:02It pays to read contracts in this game and Paul Heyman knows exactly what cards to play at exactly the right time.
22:11And let me tell you right now, Drew McIntyre and this kind of mood is exactly the guy you want alongside your men in the division.
22:19And once again, go for the IVs of CM Punk.
22:21And all McIntyre has done is complained about everything that's happened over the past few months
22:31as he tried to wrestle the championship away from Cody Rhodes.
22:37See McIntyre barking orders at Braun Breaker.
22:40McIntyre is the vet in there right now for this team.
22:43Braun Breaker is doing exactly what needs to be done.
22:47And this is just smart work, smart cohesion by two men with a common enemy and a desire to survive this WarGames match.

23:09Punk gets some help in less than 10 seconds.

23:14So it's almost over for Punk.

24:13And Rhodes now unloading on the man who's made his life miserable.
24:16Who attacked him in his buster a couple of weeks ago.

24:21Well, CM Punk went flatline there.
24:23But thankfully for him, a little bit of risk.

24:26From Cody Rhodes.
24:28Truly is his birthright.

24:42This team of Cody Rhodes is a psychiatrist's dream.
24:45There's so many issues among the five members of the team.
24:48Grudges, egos, conflicting ambitions.
24:53Forget your opponents for just one second if you can.
24:56History's taught us the biggest threat can always come from your own team inside WarGames.
25:03Keep an eye on that.
25:04And Cody Rhodes now with McIntyre in his arms.
25:07And CM Punk now.
25:09Going to deliver that clothesline and bring McIntyre down.
25:12Heart attack action right there.
25:14Perfectly executed.
25:15Reminiscent of a heart foundation.
25:18And now we're going to smooth things over between these two.
25:21After that friendly fire shot from Cody to CM Punk.
25:25You see that cut above Cody's eye.
25:26That was after the assault by McIntyre a couple of weeks back.
25:30Breaker now on Cody's shoulders.
25:33CM Punk's got a cut of his own to match Cody Rhodes'
25:36And now Punk runs on the back of his neck.
25:41A doomsday device and that could be a broken neck for Braun Breaker.
25:47That was horrible.
25:50Absolutely sickening.
25:53Oh my God.
25:55Now Rhodes turns his attack to McIntyre.
25:59Punk back on his feet as well.
26:01Punk and Rhodes working well together after that early mishap.

26:05Please check on Braun Breaker.
26:07That was as nasty as they come.
26:08But that man is double tough as the war continues in here.
26:11Let's take another look at this.
26:13This was so, so ugly.
26:15Braun, you see, tries to rotate.
26:17Basically lands head first.
26:19From an elevated height.
26:23Braun Breaker is in a mess right now.
26:25But I'll tell you what.
26:27There's no quit whatsoever in any of these ten men who are in this War Games match.
26:32Least of all, perhaps Braun Breaker.

26:36That doomsday device has been a homage to, you know who, the Road Warriors who were in that first ever War Games matchup.
26:46Back in 87.
26:48Dusty and the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering knocking off the four horsemen on that night.
26:53And a damn cut with the elbow to the face.
26:55The tribute to the American Dream.
26:58Dusty Rhodes, Cody's dad.

27:04Bionic elbow and now just peppering McIntyre with those jabs.
27:10And now McIntyre and Breaker will have some help.
27:13And they'll have a three-on-two advantage now.
27:15Now I'm worried about Braun Breaker.

27:20The doctor was just checking on Breaker to make sure he was okay.
27:25I guarantee he's not okay, but he's good enough.
27:30The man who, TV with Drew McIntyre, won the advantage for his team this past Monday night on Raw.
27:36The mega star, the Maverick, Logan Paul, marching to the ring here tonight.
27:43The man who has been given very little respect from the WWE Universe.
27:49But those with a keen eye for talent in this game understand that Logan Paul is the real deal.
27:57And he had that speed of thought, clarity of mind that grabbed the advantage for his team.
28:03And Logan Paul already paying dividends here in War Games.
28:09And now Logan Paul with a steel chair in hand.
28:13Just see Drew McIntyre again shouting the orders over to Logan Paul.
28:17Those two, of course, tagged together at SummerSlam successfully against the team at Jelly Roll.
28:22And the Viper, Randy Orton.
28:26Some real cohesion, real respect between these two.
28:31Straight back to business now with Logan Paul.

28:35Oh my goodness!
28:37Well, they don't like him, but this man is box office.
28:44And he has free athletic ability for days.
28:48And he surprised everyone when he came out and joined forces with Bronson Reed and Braun Breaker on the vision.

30:03When I thought Brom Breaker was wiped out, I cannot believe he's even on his feet at this point after that doomsday device.

30:10What the hell have they made Brom Breaker's neck out of?

30:15Steel chair to the back and now just using the cage of the weapon is Breaker.

30:22I mean, this has just been a masterclass of using the numbers game to your advantage.

30:39And what's pretty amazing to me is the way that McIntyre has taken to Logan Paul.

30:44Really made a formidable team with him.
30:46Well, Logan Paul already had the start appeal, but that viciousness has been ramped up since linking up with McIntyre.
30:53And he's going to need it now because the numbers are about to go even.

31:21At times overlooked, at times underappreciated, but always uber-talented.

56:15The team that they knocked off in War Games, the five men in this matchup, Roman Reigns and company, had never lost inside this steel structure.
56:24The team that dominated this event for the last few years, and tonight, Division and company put an end to that.
56:33And a more dominant group, perhaps, is rising here in WWE.
