00:05Per statewide results on Tuesday night, over 67% of California voters voted no in the September 14th recall election.
00:13Michael Moore, Alyssa Milano, and more entertainment industry figures praised Newsom as he saw off a GOP-led recall effort by roughly a 2-to-1 margin,
00:21with many outlets calling the results within 15 minutes of polls closing.
00:25Moore tweeted,
00:26Congratulations, Governor Gavin Newsom, and your landslide victory. You crushed it. Another huge loss for Trump and Republicans.
00:33The American people do not want these hateful idiots in charge of anything. Gavin, keep moving California forward. Your state is the progressive leader.

00:42Congrats to Governor Gavin Newsom and first partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom on their huge election win.
00:48This is the radical change we need, keeping unqualified Trump clones out of office no matter who supports them.
00:53Musician-turned-filmmaker Questlove also praised Newsom's win, but went on to echo the cries of many on social media,
00:59furious at the reported $278 million spent on the recall election, writing,
