00:11that Diane Wiest and Stockard Channing will reprise their roles. But one actress left out
00:16of the cast list was Wood, who played Bullock's eldest daughter Kylie in the 1998 film. The
00:21actress took two Instagram stories to set the record straight after fans wondered if Wood could
00:26possibly return to. I'm getting asked about this a lot so I'll just clear it up now. I was not asked
00:31to come back and be in the Practical Magic sequel. I offered my services even if it was one scene or
00:37one line. I was told they are recasting. I'm sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not in my control
00:43or my choice. I would have happily rejoined my sisters. New additions to Practical Magic 2 include
00:49Joey King, Maisie Williams, and Sholo Maraduena among others. The movie directed by Suzanne Beer
00:54is currently in production and is set to release in theaters September 18, 2026. For more on this
