00:01Please welcome your host, Jeanette Munraro.
00:19Hello, and welcome to your Thursday edition of It Takes Two.
00:32We are live on BBC Two and iPlayer, and happy holidays to everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving
00:38today.
00:39If I was on with my family back in the U.S., I would be tucking into a tasty turkey right
00:45now, with all the trimmings, some creamy mashed potatoes, a healthy dollop of cranberry sauce,
00:52and a slice of pumpkin pie to finish it all off.
00:57What a feast.
00:58And speaking of feast, we have a delicious show for you tonight.
01:02So, let's take a look at what's on the menu, shall we?
01:05With a place in the quarterfinal on the line, George, Karen, and Val have been rehearsing
01:10harder than ever.
01:11So, for one final time this week, we'll be taking a sneak peek at our couples in training.
01:17Karen has been a strictly pro since 2012, competed with 14 celeb partners, and been in
01:25not one, but two finals.
01:27But the memories she's made are countless.
01:31We'll be relieving them shortly.
01:33And she ran all the way here, so she's got a stitch.
01:37It's Vicky Gill, everybody.
01:39Plus, tonight, Vicky isn't just revealing some of the looks for this weekend.
01:46She's also on the sofa with Strictly's Costume Supervisor, Jane Marcantonio Kubicki.
01:51Jane is back by popular demand, and she and Vicky are tackling all the questions we didn't
01:56have time for a few weeks ago, and gearing up for something very exciting, so stay tuned
02:02to find out, and remember, we do love hearing from you, so if you have any question, big
02:07or small, such as, did Vicky actually run here, then send us your questions via WhatsApp
02:12on 0800-022-3801, or just scan the QR code on your screen.
02:18But before all that, oh, oh wait, hello, one, two, one, two, sorry, the mic's not working.
02:25Oh, thank you.
02:26Honestly, live television can be quite tricky, as you can imagine, but as you can see, I'm
02:31a real whisk taker.
02:34Speaking of whisk, I'm full of them.
02:36It's time for Shirley to remind us about this year's step.
02:41The Strictly Pro Challenge is back.
02:45Our professional dancers are attempting to set a world record for the most samba whisks,
02:52performed in 30 seconds.
02:55This year, there's a new queen in town, and I don't miss a beat.
03:03I will be joined by official adjudicator, Will Munford.
03:11The whisk can start in either direction, but must step to the side, cross behind, and replace.
03:20In order for the step to qualify, we'll be looking for a flat ball flat movement, with one foot
03:27on the floor at all times.
03:29The samba bounce is not necessarily needed on this occasion.
03:35Any mistakes and the step will be disqualified.
03:40Oh, this heart's done.
03:42I lost it.
03:43Only one pro can be victorious.
03:47Welcome to the Strictly Pro Challenge 2025.
03:51Right, back in 2022, she won the U.S. version of So You Think You Can Dance,
04:00which earned her the title of America's favorite dancer.
04:04And this Thanksgiving, she's left the turkey at home
04:07and plucked up the courage to fight for the pro-challenge title.
04:11It's war, Alexis' war.
04:27Come hither, come hither.
04:30Come, come, my child.
04:32Well, this is exciting.
04:36First of all, happy Thanksgiving.
04:39Hello, American.
04:40It's your first ever challenge.
04:42So what's it like for you coming in and doing it for the first time?
04:45Do you want to come in hot and take the top spot?
04:47I'll be honest, I had no idea what I was doing.
04:49I was just going with her and telling me to do it.
04:53I'm like, okay, we're doing whisks, speed, okay, let's go.
04:57I apologize to my old coaches back at home.
05:00Right, enough talk.
05:02Let's see how you got on.
05:06I am new here, so this is my first pro-challenge.
05:10I'm feeling quite nervous.
05:12I will try to keep the footwork, but I am going for speed.
05:16Let's whisk it up.
05:19Hello, Alexis.
05:22How are you doing today?
05:24Oh, I'm so nervous right now.
05:25First pro-challenge.
05:27Tell me what you've heard about the pro-challenge.
05:29That it is no joke.
05:30It's intense.
05:32There's world records on the line.
05:34I've never competed for a world record before,
05:36so this is another first for me.
05:38Well, I'm sure you're going to be just fine.
05:41Please take center stage.
05:43This is an official attempt.
05:46In three, two, one.
05:49Go.
05:53Keep going, lovely.
05:54Keep going.
05:55I'm slipping.
05:57Keep going.
05:58You've started.
05:59You're on your way.
06:02You keep saying what you want to say there.
06:04Get those legs going.
06:05Yeah, there you go.
06:0515 seconds.
06:06Oh, watch this.
06:07Oh, oh, oh.
06:09There we go.
06:11I'm tap dancing.
06:12Is this how it's done?
06:14Five, four, three, two, one.
06:19Stop.
06:20You're killing me, Alexis.
06:25Good for you.
06:26Did you enjoy that?
06:27I'm sweating.
06:28You look like you had a blast.
06:30That was entertaining.
06:32That was great.
06:33Did you have fun there yet?
06:34Very much so.
06:35Your first pro challenge, the Samba Whisk.
06:39Wow.
06:39I'll never look at Samba Whisks the same.
06:41Well, we are delighted that you came in to share and show us that today.
06:45So thank you very much, Alexis.
06:47Thank you, guys.
06:47Once I stepped on that stage, the lights hit me.
06:53I see the judging panel.
06:55My soul left my body.
06:56I'm quite inspired right now to whisk up something delicious.
07:00Mareng, anyone?
07:05Okay, so how confident do you feel watching the back?
07:08That was chaotic.
07:11That's how I feel.
07:12That it was a bit chaotic.
07:13But you look like you were having a great time.
07:15Oh, I had a blast.
07:16I was singing different, various tunes in my head going through it,
07:20just trying to distract, build up speed, fast-paced songs.
07:23Yes.
07:24Okay.
07:24Well, listen, yesterday, Diane had 37 steps disqualified.
07:29I know.
07:30That makes me terrified.
07:31I know.
07:31She did 39 and 37 of them got disqualified.
07:34And just to clarify, that was mainly for the second heel
07:37not going fully on the flat ball flat action.
07:41So the heel didn't fully go down on the second one.
07:43But it's time to get serious.
07:46Are you ready?
07:48After each of the professionals made their attempt,
07:51the footage was watched back by adjudicators in slow motion
07:54to verify every single step to make sure they were accurate.
07:58Alexis, I can reveal that in 30 seconds you completed
08:0543 steps.
08:15However, were there any disqualifications?
08:20I can reveal that you had
08:2329 disqualifications.
08:34But that's a total of 14,
08:36which puts you at the top of the leaderboard.
08:40You see?
08:41Not bad.
08:42But if you had to make a prediction,
08:44who do you think could win this year's pro challenge?
08:46Oh, that is a tough one
08:48because I do think the pros bring their A game.
08:50Yeah.
08:50I would say Neil.
08:52Neil.
08:52Yeah, I feel like he has tricks up his sleeve.
08:54He does.
08:55And he's tricksy in general.
08:56Yeah.
08:57Yeah, yeah, yeah.
08:57Yeah, yeah.
08:58Okay, well, let's see.
08:59For now, let's hear it for this year's
09:00second pro challenge contender, Alexis.
09:05And the pro challenge will be back on Monday.
09:09So we'll see you then for that.
09:10Okay, next up,
09:11it's time for a final trip to the training rooms this week
09:14where George, Karen, and Bal have been working extra hard
09:17because missing out on a spot in musicals week
09:19would make them all...
09:21What, Alexis?
09:22Les Mis-rable.
09:25That was great.
09:29This week, we are dancing the quick step.
09:31It looks fun.
09:33It looks difficult,
09:34but it feels like you'll just be gliding across the floor.
09:37Shasta, shasta, step.
09:38The most important thing to get right with the quick step
09:40is the timing with each other.
09:42If one person is going different timings,
09:46it's going to look like a popcorn extravaganza.
09:48And a step pop.
09:50I didn't step.
09:51I think my main concern is the footwork is intricate.
09:53Here, there.
09:54No.
09:54No.
09:54That was a toe.
09:55No, it's not.
09:56And in quick step, there is so much more of it.
09:59Kick and together.
10:01Yeah, exactly.
10:05This week, we are doing our couple's choice.
10:08Seven, ten, eight.
10:09There's different styles for both me and Carlos.
10:13It's the street.
10:14It's commercial.
10:15It's hip-hopping.
10:16Everything that Karen loves.
10:18I always said to Carlos,
10:20I want you to be free.
10:21You still have to be totally in sync with your partner.
10:24And so we've got to be free together.
10:26In some bits, she's better than me.
10:31I look at her, I was like,
10:33this girl, she's living the best life.
10:34This week, Jules and I are embarking upon the jive.
10:42It's a very fast routine.
10:44Two, three.
10:45We are week ten.
10:46Some of us are quite tired.
10:48And that's...
10:49I think the biggest challenge in this routine
10:52is just going to be the energy.
10:53There's a lot of steps.
10:54There's a lot of moving.
10:55But, you know, if we want to make it,
10:57we've got to absolutely put a heart and soul into this.
11:00Eight.
11:00One.
11:01Two.
11:01Don't look down.
11:02This routine is quite challenging,
11:04but I'm going to crack it.
11:06I'm going to have a good time on that dance floor.
11:08Like a T-Rex.
11:16Aren't they working hard?
11:18And speaking of working hard,
11:19next up, we're chatting to one of the hardest working women
11:22in telly, Vicky Gill.
11:24Which means it's time for Putting on the Glass.
11:31It's Vicky Gill.
11:42Firstly, Vicky, congratulations
11:44on a brilliant weekend at Blackpool
11:47to you and the team.
11:48It was amazing.
11:49How was it for you and everybody?
11:50We loved it.
11:51It's hard.
11:52Everyone's exhausted.
11:53But we have lots of laughs along the way.
11:55And it's a squeaky bum moment.
11:57It's when we're like,
11:58have we got everything?
11:59But, yeah, it was great.
12:01Yeah, it was fantastic.
12:02I loved all of it.
12:03All right, shall we go to sketch number one
12:04and see what we've got today?
12:05So, sketch number one.
12:07Alexis, we just saw her pro challenge then.
12:09Yes.
12:09She's doing the quick step this weekend.
12:11Yes.
12:11Hollywood glam.
12:13Hollywood glam.
12:13Is that what we're going for?
12:14Top to tail it for me.
12:15So, from the top, we've got rose gold.
12:18We've got aurum.
12:19Crystals that are going to go around the neckline
12:21and run into the back.
12:22We're actually using sequin on the bodice.
12:24We have to be really careful using sequin
12:25because if there's lots of lifts involved,
12:27our pros often get lots of cuts
12:29and they don't like us very much.
12:30We use too much.
12:31But quick step, we haven't got lots of those.
12:33So, we're using a rose gold sequin to the lower hip
12:36and then we're going into a soft, fluid skirt
12:39to the hem.
12:40Nice and light, so there's lots of movement.
12:43And hopefully, we'll keep the floats
12:44that you can see running through the back.
12:45And what about George?
12:46How's he going to complement Alexis's...
12:47Classic look for George.
12:48You haven't really seen him suit and boot
12:50apart from his tail suit that he had quite early on.
12:54We're hoping to introduce a lot of cream
12:55so that we get cream and rose gold.
12:57Oh, beautiful.
12:57Again, we'll see what the boys...
12:59Not in black.
13:00So, something light.
13:01It could be.
13:02It could be.
13:02You never know.
13:03You never know.
13:04I'm sorry. I overstepped.
13:04I overstepped.
13:06Shall we go to sketch number two now
13:08and see what we've got to sketch number two?
13:10So, this is Katya.
13:11She's doing a Roomba with Louis.
13:13Yes.
13:13This is a very striking look.
13:14A bit of a skirt and fabric.
13:16Can you talk us through the inspiration for the design?
13:18I think that Katya was eager this week
13:20to have both her and Louis in one colour
13:23so that often the boy will shadow the girl
13:27but this weekend we're looking to uniform the colour
13:30between them within the movement.
13:32Often with Roomba, we may have a very tight or beaded base
13:36and then a fluid Georgette piece that kind of flies away from it.
13:39But we've gone for a quite simple shape
13:41with lots of volume in the skirt.
13:44It won't be these two fabrics
13:45because it's still been sewn at the moment
13:47but we'll be using a metallic thread across a Georgette base
13:52but definitely both Katya and Louis will be gold.
13:54So, they're going to be matching which is going to be lovely.
13:56And the fabric you said has got metallic.
13:58That's going to be interesting with lighting and all that stuff.
14:00So, not a lot of crystals.
14:01So, the metallic thread that's working through the print
14:04will be what gives us that light and shade.
14:06Nice.
14:06Oh, I can't wait to see her.
14:07I'm sure it's going to look amazing.
14:08It's going to be exciting.
14:09Shall we go to mannequin numero uno?
14:10Let's see what we've got for mannequin number one.
14:12Are we ready?
14:12Oh, gosh.
14:16Almost perfect.
14:18Right, this is Amber's jive.
14:20We love a fringe.
14:21So, we're going for the jive.
14:22This is week 10 now.
14:24Yes.
14:24Does Amber have a role in picking her outfits?
14:27Do you want to do it?
14:29Oh, mum.
14:30Always.
14:32So, it's really sensual.
14:33You did the same there as well.
14:34You started picking it up and using it.
14:35It's so nice.
14:36It just feels nice to play with.
14:38Yes.
14:39So, basically, what we want for Amber's jive is lots of volume, lots of fringe, lots of
14:44movement.
14:45All of these upper sections down to the hip line have all been attached individually, but
14:51then we've got circles in the hem where we've sewn strips of fringe.
14:55So, we're going to get lots and lots of movement.
14:57We dictated the colour.
14:59Hopefully, we'll have some beads running through the top and then all of this centrepiece will
15:02be embellished.
15:03But I'm sure, I feel quite sure that this is the right vibe.
15:06But flicks and kicks, constantly moving at the bottom.
15:09How is this going to complement Nikita's choreography?
15:11Do you think it'll help just really show off the movement?
15:13I think just the sheer amount of volume.
15:15And then between the fringe, we have a mesh which is quite bouncy and quite light.
15:20So, you can imagine as the dancers move in, this kind of takes upon its own kind of movement
15:25itself.
15:26Yeah.
15:26So, if anything, we'll be trying to control it.
15:28I want to keep touching it.
15:29All right.
15:29All right.
15:30Let's go to mannequin number two.
15:31Come here.
15:31Mannequin number two.
15:32Let's see how this one goes, shall we?
15:34Are we ready?
15:35Oh, it's smooth.
15:37High five, high five.
15:38This is Karen's couple's choice outfit.
15:41Karen is doing her couple's choice this week, but talk us through the design.
15:44Pink, black, white.
15:45We've got a lot going on.
15:46We've put all three elements on here just to give you the vibe.
15:49Hopefully, the sequin trouser will stay.
15:52Once we've seen the set, we'll see how much pink we need, how much white we need, and how
15:56much black we need.
15:56Yeah.
15:57Because the graphics are quite strong this week.
15:59We will, by the time we get to Saturday night, there will be, like, really strong silver
16:03embellishment, and that's probably going to go through the vest detail, and then down
16:07the side of the trouser.
16:08Again, depending on how much choreography and turning and light and shade we need, we'll
16:12work that out.
16:13Karen works really well when she's in a masculine and feminine look, so I don't think that'd
16:18be a problem.
16:18Yeah, she does like that, doesn't she?
16:20I think she feels free.
16:21She feels free.
16:22She can go for it.
16:22And the choreography is really interesting as well.
16:24I don't know what you've seen on the show.
16:25No, we haven't seen anything.
16:26I love it.
16:27I like being surprised.
16:29Yeah.
16:29And again, we've got some quite interesting detail on the brogue, so nice little twists
16:34running through the whole piece.
16:34So I feel like this could, we see it here, but there's going to be some changes coming up
16:38over the weekend.
16:38Yeah.
16:38Well, we cannot wait.
16:39Now, listen, yourself and Jane are going to join me on the sofa.
16:42Exciting.
16:42You're going to be answering some more viewers' questions and talking to us a little bit more about
16:46the instant dance, which I'm very excited for.
16:49But for now, it's the incredible Vicky Gill.
16:54Next, she's been on Strictly since 2012, which makes her the longest serving current professional
17:00on the show.
17:01So it's fair to say Karen's given us hours of glittery memories, and now it's time to
17:06relive them in Karen's Best of the Ballroom.
17:10Well, I hope you have time.
17:16I've been a pro on Strictly for 14 years.
17:23I pretty much have grown up in Strictly.
17:25You know, the public has seen me evolve as a person, as a choreographer, as a dancer.
17:33I stay in touch with a lot of my celebrity partners that I've danced with before.
17:37You know, you build a great relationship, a great bond.
17:40Jamie Laing.
17:43It's a partnership that I will never, ever forget.
17:46What I love is you both have the same hair.
17:50We were like twins.
17:54Everybody dance now.
17:56The street dance couple's choice that I did with Jamie was an absolute banger that I will
18:02always, always love.
18:05Him doing his little freestyle, and then I would do my little freestyle, and keeping in sync
18:12was very, very hard.
18:14That was amazing.
18:17Jamie had all the energy.
18:19It was like having a puppy.
18:21I mean, and I have four dogs.
18:22Everybody dance now.
18:28One of my favorite dances was the samba with Charles Van in Blackpool.
18:37We threw everything in.
18:39It was like we were having a party.
18:41The steps were incredible.
18:43The music was incredible.
18:44Everything was on point.
18:46I really liked it.
18:47And then you receive a 10, and you're like, what?
18:55Was that a mistake?
18:58It was the first time that I had ever received a 10 in the show, and, you know, it's been
19:03a couple of years.
19:08When you actually get that 10, and you get the recognition for it, you know, you feel very
19:14proud of yourself.
19:15I just remember blacking out and being happy, of excitement.
19:20Dave Myers was the first celebrity that I danced with that showed me how to have fun.
19:34One of my favorite moments was we were dancing a salsa, and I think he came up with the idea
19:42of being pushed in a trolley.
19:44And I had a head full of fruits, and he had maracas and ruffles.
19:49We were laughing with each other, and we wanted everyone to join us in that.
19:56See ya!
19:57It was my second year on the show, and I was still quite lost of who I wanted to be on the
20:05show and how to present myself.
20:07And he kind of unlocked that key for me, and went, this is how you have fun, Karen.
20:13Don't see me, it's one great.
20:15He showed me how to make fun of myself.
20:26And since then, I've definitely taken that on board.
20:31He took care of me, and I just miss him.
20:34All the pros were family, we're very united, so when you get to dance with your peers, it
20:48is even more impactful for us.
20:52And one of the most iconic group numbers for myself was when I danced with Luba, we did
20:59an Argentine tango, and it was the first time that two female professional dancers were
21:05dancing together as a partnership.
21:07There was one specific lift that it had to be in slow motion, and it was almost like we
21:12were frozen.
21:15The empowerment that that brought for us as two female professional dancers in the show
21:20was iconic for us, and it's definitely one of those moments that will stay with us forever.
21:29When I first came into Strictly, I would have never told you I was going to be here for
21:3414 years.
21:36Anton is now a judge, so that means that I've taken the place of the longest-serving professional
21:43dancer.
21:44Thank you, Anton.
21:47I feel very privileged that I still get to do what I love to do, and to me it means a lot.
21:53You know, as a woman, you know, in my 40s now, you know, I'm not getting any younger,
21:58but I feel on top of my game.
22:03I get to call this my job, you know, and that's, that's amazing.
22:15Thank you, Karen.
22:16So many beautiful memories.
22:18And speaking of beauty, next are two people who put the glitz into glam.
22:23Please welcome back Vicky Gill and Jane Marcantonio Kubicki.
22:28Ladies, thanks so much for joining us.
22:30We're going to get straight into it, because last time you were here, there were so many
22:33questions that came in for the two of you, but we didn't have time to get to all of them.
22:37So shall we get to some more now?
22:38Yes, please.
22:38Yes, all right.
22:39We're going to start with Alanis.
22:41She sent this, and she's age 13.
22:43And it's for you, Vicky.
22:44She says, what is the hardest material to work with, and do you try and avoid it when
22:49making the costumes for Strictly?
22:51Try to be quick.
22:52The hardest is actually sequin fabrics, because of the way it moves, and we don't always get
22:56the maximum stretch, and it also can really cut our pros.
23:00We were discussing it just then.
23:01Yeah.
23:02But we need sequin in the show.
23:04It's so pretty.
23:04Yes.
23:05I don't know what it does, but it's really sparkly, and I like it.
23:08So I try to avoid it, but unfortunately, I can't.
23:10Yeah, you work on Strictly Come Dancing and stuff.
23:13Okay, the next one is for you, Jane, and this is from Holly in York, and she says,
23:16do you have a favourite dress of all time from the show?
23:20Well, Holly, I've got a favourite group of all time rather than a favourite costume.
23:25It was about 2018, and we were at Somerset House, and it was the first dance of the first
23:32show, and it was stunning.
23:34And the ladies were in sapphire, the boys were all in blue tuxes.
23:38We had fountains, the sun was coming up.
23:42That's what was special.
23:43It was quite an epic number.
23:45And then, of course, the glam of how they looked obviously add to it.
23:48This is from Anne in Baisenstoke, and she's asking this to both of you.
23:52How are the gems stuck on the garments?
23:55What tools are used?
23:57Do you want me to?
23:58Yeah.
23:58It's like a slang word.
24:00It's like a slang word.
24:01Yeah, it's the slang word.
24:02The stoning department, we say.
24:04The stoning department.
24:05Yeah, we thought it was the stoning department.
24:06It's quite simple.
24:07There are other tools on the market these days that you'll find on TikTok and all sorts
24:11of things.
24:11But our process is we have a pencil, and we warm up some beeswax, pop that on the end
24:17because it lifts up the crystal and allows us to put it down without too much trouble.
24:21So it's a very simple process in terms of the tool.
24:25Okay.
24:25But application, it's a bit like icing a cake.
24:27So whatever pattern they're using with the glue, that's the shape of the application of
24:33the crystal.
24:33So get a pencil.
24:34There you go.
24:35That was for you, Anne.
24:36All right.
24:37Now, this next is really fun.
24:38We're going to talk about the instant dance challenge that's coming up.
24:41Vicky, what sort of preparations have you guys been up?
24:44Can we move on?
24:44I feel like we've got to talk about it, you know?
24:47So what, if any, what kind of preparations have you been doing for it in the lead-up?
24:52I'll let Jane stop.
24:56When I first heard about it, I thought it was like a practical joke.
25:01But it's not April 4th.
25:02It's coming and we've got to do it.
25:05We've done lots of, we've got to have 12 reels, we've got to have costumes that fit
25:10all the contestants, and they have to move, they have to work with dance, but times 12.
25:16So it's been a lot of work, and we are, I think we're perfectionists.
25:21Our whole department is a perfectionist.
25:23So we have to literally just do the opposite of what we are trained to.
25:29It's going to be chaotic, but it's going to be fun.
25:31I have a feeling I'm going to see you guys backstage right before they go on.
25:35Just that, please.
25:36Well, we thought it's only fair to bring a bit of the fun of Instant Dance to tonight's
25:42show.
25:42We're not changing.
25:43No, no, no.
25:44I have 17 outfits for you to change into.
25:46So it's time to play a game I like to call Instant Ass.
25:54Now, viewers have been sending in their questions, and we've popped them all in the official Instant
26:00Instant Ass Disco Ball.
26:04Fancy, isn't it?
26:05It's bigger than the ball you get when you win.
26:09So it's really simple.
26:10I'm going to pull out a question at random.
26:11All you have to do is answer it.
26:13Pretty straightforward, shall we?
26:14Yeah, we can do that.
26:14Okay, let's crack on.
26:15Let's see.
26:15I'm going to shuffle, shuffle, shuffle.
26:17All right.
26:18Elizabeth, for both of you, is asking, how did you start working on Strictly?
26:22She's asking, as a costume student.
26:24I came to it, a lovely lady called Sue Judge, used to be the stylist for the show, and she
26:30needed someone with dance expertise and knowledge that crosses both, both kind of aspects.
26:35So that's how I was introduced to Strictly.
26:37From the dance world.
26:38There you saw.
26:39I came from film and then came into, like, entertainment and met Vic, and the rest is history.
26:46And best of luck.
26:46Best of luck to our current costume student.
26:49All right, ready?
26:49Here we go.
26:49Next one.
26:50Wee!
26:51I'm really quick.
26:52I like it.
26:53Caitlin is asking this for you, Jane.
26:56Biggest challenge you've faced in the costume department this year?
26:59This year?
27:01I would say...
27:02This.
27:03This.
27:04Yeah.
27:05We actually, we love a quick change.
27:08So this is, that part of it's going to be exciting.
27:10But yeah, this.
27:11So this will be the biggest challenge.
27:12Okay, last one.
27:13Let's see if we can squeeze in one more.
27:14Oh, wee!
27:16Oh, gosh.
27:17I love this game.
27:19Abby, this is for Vicky.
27:20What is the trickiest costume to make?
27:24Trickiest costume to make?
27:26I think the beaded costumes are really time, you know, it takes a lot of time.
27:31You have to have drying time.
27:32Be very patient.
27:33So all of the beaded costumes you see, very time consuming, difficult, have to be accurate.
27:38Samba dresses often have lots and lots of crin.
27:42So there's hours and hours and meters and meters of crin going into them.
27:45So I would say those two.
27:47So we don't like Samba.
27:48Okay.
27:48Let's see.
27:49Can I squeeze in one more?
27:50Let's see.
27:50Oh, wee!
27:51Oh, they're getting harder to grind.
27:53All right.
27:53Here we go.
27:54This is, again, for you, Vicky, from Katie.
27:56What's your favorite costume that you've designed, made over the last 21 years of Strictly?
28:01Oh, really hard.
28:02Because I love everything that I do.
28:04And I think that, you know, Strictly produces some great stuff.
28:07But I really liked Nancy's mummy costume on Halloween.
28:12Oh, that was fun.
28:13Yeah.
28:13So that was one of them.
28:14Yes.
28:15I liked the Vois, Queen of Hearts.
28:17Oh, I loved Vois, the Queen of Hearts.
28:18That was a good one, too.
28:19You've done some brilliant ones through the years.
28:21Hard to pick.
28:21But good luck with the instant dance.
28:23And have a great weekend.
28:24Let's hear it for Vicky and Jane.
28:28Well, that's it for tonight.
28:30Thanks to all of my guests.
28:31Fleur's back tomorrow with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at this weekend's group number,
28:35choreographed by two-time Strictly champ, Otima Busse.
28:39And both Luis and Katia and Alex and Johannes will be here talking about the highs of Black Bull
28:44and the pressures of making it to the quarterfinal.
28:46Have a fabulous evening.
28:49Mama, we couldn't believe it.
