00:00I disagree with the fact that she understands us well. I don't think she does. I think she's taken first impressions
00:08And she hasn't bothered to get to know us more than a very sort of surface level
00:13Blaze in mine. Oh, man, tell you
00:17John tell a woman
00:19Take care. I don't think she wants to make that effort to try and actually get to know us
00:24But we've just got to do everything she says. I think it was a little bit worried for blaze
00:29I think we're all a little bit fearful that he hasn't
00:32Fully received the feedback. Well, and that's gone over his head a little bit
00:36That I think you need to understand that what he just says he might not believe it
00:41But that's what she thinks and we need to try and change her opinion for the better of the band
00:46And there is one particular management rule that blaze is struggling with no more tattoos
00:54How's everyone finding the I don't have any tattoos? No girls
00:59They're such a such a how we are failing. I
01:03I'm gonna get tattoos, bro. Oh, yeah tattoos
01:06We need to look like a unit, right? Yeah, it's our image and our image is very important
01:11somebody might
01:12Really stand out having load of tags and it makes it just makes us look different. I disagree. I
01:18Didn't really think it was fair that recent James were telling me not to get tattoos when they already have them
01:24I have a tattoo on my arm here. It's just kind of a reminder to me that
01:28I'm not somebody that ever is inside the box. I'm outside the box
01:32I think we need to look as a unit, but I think we need to have individualism
01:36If you go out and decide to change something permanently about what you look like
01:41Yes, it's your choice, but it also affects all of us too because that's part of how we are sold as a band
01:49Despite talking things through blaze
01:50He still had a bad attitude and his future in the band needed to be resolved
01:59To stand any chance of success
02:01Blaze, Reese, Oli, James and Dexter need to find a way to operate as a team
02:08Because in k-pop, it's all about teamwork
02:12Performing as a group relies on strong teamwork and good chemistry
02:28And that is something the band need to discover so they can perform this song classic
02:36And the complex choreo that accompanies it
02:42So
02:46Teaching them is a new choreography coach who's been drafted in especially for this routine
02:51Kyung Woo Lee
03:00The new choreography is really sick it's probably the most detailed and
03:04Intricate choreography we've had so far
03:06It's challenging it's very challenging but it's a really fun routine
03:14Off the back of conversations about his attitude blaze is becoming increasingly nervous about how he's perceived by the boys and the training team
03:23Um is there any movements i'm doing differently from the group that like made me stand out
03:28downstream
03:28No, no, no no no no no nothing
03:30You get certificate
03:42You see you blend in well with the group right now okay. Thank you great show
03:44What did you ask?
03:46being watched with his stress levels rising the following day blaze checks in to see wellness
03:56coach genie chang apparently i've been quite rude to people and i've got quite a bad attitude all
04:04the sort of conscious efforts i make are the complete polar opposite of that like always try
04:09and be as kind as possible and as hard working as possible yeah and so hearing that they think
04:15i'm doing the opposite it's just sort of threw my mind into the turmoil just be like you know what
04:19i'm sorry that i came across this way and then you can ask how can i get better or what are those
04:25situations where i could improve after hearing about the turmoil blaze's feeling he john yoon has
04:36arrived unannounced at the training center and has asked for blaze to come and see her
04:40we never see hedron outside of an evaluation day so we knew it was something serious and important
04:48the only thing in my head was was blaze was going home
04:51we are just gonna have to give that kind of like older brother tough love unfortunately but
04:58i think genuinely if if it means that he cries or he's sad or whatnot for two three days regardless
05:07of whether he thinks everything is right or wrong he is just going to have to learn that he has to
05:11agree and that's that could be an ego thing as well where you know where somebody doesn't like
05:17authority and that sort of thing
05:19i think i was i was very apprehensive going in a lot of things were going through my mind whether it's like
05:38she's saying it was it wasn't going to work um and i was quite honest i said that i'm i'm really
05:45struggling at the moment with everything at the end she asked me if she could trust me
05:55in whether i want to be a part of this band and a part of a group
06:00i said that she can i want this to work and i want to be here
06:14i'm very much willing to change and grow for this here
06:22i don't really know where i'm at with the boys
06:24i really care for them all but it's not coming across the right way so that's what i need to talk
06:35to them about
06:47later that night the boys gather in the kitchen to have a meeting about what's going wrong with the band
06:52so i think from hedonist chat today i've had quite a sort of realization about myself
07:03and how i'm portraying myself to you lot and the people around um it's coming across in the wrong way
07:11so if i do stuff which upsets you or rubs you the wrong way i'd love to hear that because i cannot
07:19move forward without knowing what i'm doing wrong i think we feel when we try to bring things to you
07:26or we we want to talk to you it's we know there's going to be tension or you're going to fight back
07:32yeah we didn't want any conflict that guys that's basically it we sat down we had a proper real
07:39raw conversation which is probably one of the first we've ever had as a band if not the first
07:43i just want to tell you to stop fighting man yeah just stop fighting relax release that pressure
07:50i can see the cogs turning all the time you just don't need to you can just sit back and relax with
07:55all of us and enjoy this whole thing but you just need to let go stop trying to paddle the other way
08:01that's what's making you stand out is that you're trying to pedal the other way
08:05and we're all trying to go that way and we're like come with us bro i'm sorry for going across like
08:11that and i want to apologize we genuinely do care and want this hopefully just to be the turning
08:17point where like you say you your mindset's changed and we'll get thrown together because we've all got
08:22our own battles to conquer what they're trying to say is nobody wants you nobody wants you gone
08:26everyone wants you here like so badly yeah i appreciate boys i really do it's nice seeing that for you
08:38who happened there oh you too bro blaze has his faults as we all do but we're a tight-knit
08:44group now and we're all close friends and it would not be the same without him
08:48the band's house is right by the ittawan strip and now seems like the perfect opportunity to hit it
09:02oh this is all right
09:13it was great but some moves on the dance floor did somebody say blaze me james
09:29we ended up surfing behind the bar at some point um i'm not sure how that happened
09:39the past few days have been really tough for all of us
09:42i think we just need to let off some steam love those boys
09:54it's a new day in seoul and with new belief in their ability
09:59it's time to crack the most difficult choreography so far
10:03eight and a one okay one more time you guys seem a little bit too awkward right now like
10:07transitioning and like even turning around you have to fix it right you have to fix and the one
10:16the routine was very demanding
10:18a one two and a three no say your hands i mean some of us were definitely struggling with the basics
10:25eight and a one oh my seven eight and a one and two there's a lot of like fast steps intricate steps
10:34which i'm missing out or i'm just forgetting to do all the routines especially this one require stamina and
10:47physical fitness now with reese i don't think any of us could understand with his diet how he keeps
10:53going and how he has so much energy do you like you put burgers plain literally burger cheese bun
11:02for someone to eat that bad and to still look that good like it's just shocking he's a freak of nature he is
11:10burger and chips a burger and chips and a burger and chips hey reese only eats ultra processed food
11:18isn't it fruit vegetables or salad we needed to change that
11:25to help reese discover a delicious new world of food wonder wow live octopus chicken's feet and sea
11:33penis blaze ollie and the k-pop cowboy have brought him to the kwangjang market this is where people
11:40come for the more unusual types of korean food if they have any burgers he loves burgers oh burgers okay
11:47what is that what do you think that i don't know what is this it's uh octopus octopus uh uh
11:55she's holding it for you sorry comes on me down you want to try some oh sure i'll do it yeah yeah yeah
12:01gumbay gumbay
12:10has a bit of a kick to it it's a little bit spicy but it's nice i like that okay yeah it's nice
12:14these look cool don't they it's a dried strawberry covered with chocolate
12:19is it that's really nice actually it tastes like strawberry jam but frozen and dry it scares me the
12:27fact that there is fruit in there i'm not it's completely dry that's great it's a no and it will
12:34find something okay it's a challenge for today we're gonna find you something that you're gonna like
12:43while reese has been struggling to find a healthy diet dexter has been dealing with a far more serious
12:49condition type 1 diabetes injecting himself up to five times a day until now only close friends and
12:57colleagues have known about dexter's condition as he didn't want preferential treatment yeah so i had
13:02to come home from training today but uh it's basically been a rough like week two weeks for me
13:12yeah my blood sugar is just like it started out uh the life of the movie meeting video
13:16issue i started feeling really rough diabetes is something i know and well borderline yes i should
13:22keep myself in check enough yeah but like a scenario like this yeah yeah yeah my blood sugar went up i think
13:28it goes up badly with my diabetes when we're in like really pressurized moments and i just um i'm
13:34feeling burnt out and exhausted it's just you know every day i'm going to get up and get yourself up
13:39when you're not sleeping well and your blood sugar's all over the place it's just it's really hard
13:44it's a bit of a silent battle that you kind of have to go on i don't know the answer right now but i'm trying
13:49to um figure out how i can deal with this because it's all new and that's kind of the thing when you have
13:55diabetes is each new experience you've got to like figure out how it works around that and this whole
14:02thing's just a new experience after new experience so i'm trying to try to figure it out reluctantly
14:09reese is also about to try some new experiences at the gwangjang market this is one of the oldest
14:15permanent markets in korea it caters for those who love to eat unusual foods rather than reese's
14:21favorite dish of plain old burger and chips would you be down to try something adventurous yeah
14:28yeah i'm a little bit scared my normal diet yeah reese's normal diet it consists of chocolate
14:35burgers um chocolate burgers chocolate burgers oh yeah you like pancakes you like to find that's not
14:42korea but we're here to try some of the real korean food oh gosh all righty okay this is chicken feed
14:51we call it a chicken's fingernail or something wait you don't you don't want to try it uh do you want
15:08a nibble off of this one little nibble tiny little nibble oh god okay sorry sorry
15:14oh yeah that's good yeah oh he's loving it yeah i'm loving it mate there's plenty more for you yeah
15:25time for peak speed
15:29oh he's gone for it
15:33yeah
15:33go on go on there we go there we go there we go there we go i'm doing it on youtube there you go
15:47time for seafood octopus it's like a sea cucumber yeah oh yeah sea cucumber that's that's what it is
15:56i don't even like cucumber why am i gonna like a sea one it has a very interesting texture
16:00oh no i don't know about this one i can't lie to me i don't think i will be able to
16:19oh my gosh
16:20we got we got we gotta get him to eat this doesn't help come on come on come on
16:31breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe breathe
16:46are you serious
16:49i think he's just heading to the end
16:51Okay, what do you think that is it's a type of worm
16:58Because of how he looks we call it like a sea penis. Yeah, yeah, yeah
17:07Yeah, how does that feel he's got spikes on his bum. Yeah, it's Harry. I
17:13I'm sorry, mr. Worm. Okay, explain it to us
17:17Now in Korea everyone is polite reserved shy even but local Korean legend
17:22Mrs. Song Yul Jung is not just anyone she is the most magical woman in Seoul is always up for a laugh
17:29It tastes a bit like octopus is very very chewy
17:32Oh
17:42I love that woman. I have no idea what she was trying to feed me down
17:47I
17:49Please
18:10Thank you
18:13I'd love to say I've had scarier things in my mouth, but I'm not sure I have
18:19I'm proud of your race. Yeah, I'm not really proud of you
18:28With the choreo making good progress Olly and Reece begin practicing hitting the high notes for the song classic
18:35You'll be number one
18:38Automatic make you want to turn it up turn it up gonna sing it at your birthday
18:43Graduation put your hands up it's a celebration singing. Oh
18:49Oh, this right here is a classic
18:59Reece is usually adept at vocals in the higher octaves
19:04But classic has two major notes that are way outside his comfort zone
19:08Put your hands up it's a celebration
19:11Gonna sing it at your birthday
19:13And blaze is making progress using his lower vocal range
19:17Singing oh
19:21This right here is a classic
19:27In one of the practice suites james has some worrying news from his twin brother lewis in the uk
19:33Yeah, how's it going on tick tock james and lewis are the sharp twins where more than 5.6 million people follow their dance videos
19:47I've been in amy for like eight hours
19:53What do they think you've got?
19:55It's just the liquid in my lung. I think he got infected
19:57So the less the way my lung collapsed last time if you remember
20:00Yeah
20:02I'm very worried. I just want him to be
20:05Just want him to be all right
20:07The last time he had this was when he was 15
20:10Yeah, he had pneumonia. He nearly died from it
20:13And now he's got this
20:15Something similar to this now again
20:20And i'm 5 000 miles away from him
20:23I miss you so much and i know and i just want you to be all right
20:26I want you to be all right and it actually sucks that this is happening while i'm away
20:29I'll be good i'll message you yeah
20:32No stress all right well see you later love you bro
20:34Love you bro peace peace
20:40Oh
20:46With the weight of his brother's illness on his mind james is finding it hard to concentrate on his choreo
20:52Oh
20:53Wall
20:54No
20:55Oh my
20:55Fuck
20:56Six
20:57Four
20:57Seven
20:58Go
20:59Twelve
21:00Oh
21:02Brain come on all right sorry
21:06Take a deep breath
21:11Training was hard for me
21:12I was preoccupied thinking about my brother being in hospital and my head was a total mess
21:17What's that happen go
21:19Whoa
21:21I've lost the dude i don't know what i'm doing i'm like i'm like it's out of my hands
21:25I don't know what's going on
21:26None of us could relate to how hard it was for james because of lewis
21:31Oh my mum did an update lewis update
21:33They're going to do an ultrasound to find out exactly what's going on
21:37Okay
21:39Let's hope he's all right
21:40He's not still in hospital though is he he is
21:42Is he still staying over yeah
21:44All right
21:56When any of the boys seem to be struggling the team take them out to experience life away from rehearsals
22:05Today super junior idol shin dong is showing them some of korea's past in a folk village just outside of seoul
22:12Oh
22:13Yeah
22:13I'm
22:13I'm
22:13I'm
22:14I'm
22:14I'm
22:15I'm
22:15I'm
22:16I'm
22:17I'm
22:18I knew nothing about hanbok
22:20I thought shindong was trying to talk about hanboks
22:23I had no idea what was going on
22:24And then that's the status we have
22:40It's good
22:41Oh good
22:43So like this
22:45Okay
22:49These traditional outfits are hired by visitors to the center
22:52So they can get into character and experience more of what life was like for koreans hundreds of years ago
23:11Oh
23:14South Korea's past is steeped in folklore and mythology when not all of the stories are entirely true
23:21Oh
23:22Oh
23:24Oh
23:26Oh
23:28Oh
23:30And this is where we are.
23:48Yeah.
23:49We T-Posin.
23:54We T-Posin.
23:55Really?
23:56We T-Posin.
23:57We T-Posin.
24:02We T-Posin.
24:04We T-Posin.
24:05I want to do Frag.
24:07Let's go.
24:10Let's go.
24:12I don't have a weapon like this.
24:16I just made it.
24:18I'm going to.
24:25Oh, you're actually joking me.
24:26This is proper weird.
24:27What?
24:32Oh, do you know what?
24:33I can't do this.
24:34I actually can't do this.
24:35Wait, give me a sec.
24:36Oh, bro, bro, bro, bro.
24:38Bro, bro, bro, bro, bro.
24:43I can't do this too.
24:51Oh my god.
24:56Oh my god.
25:00That's why I'm having fun.
25:06The haunted house was a little bit weird.
25:21Choreo for the song Classic is the fourth routine they've learnt,
25:25and it's by far the most difficult.
25:27Before the next rehearsal begins, James has some good news about his brother.
25:33He's out of hospital.
25:35Is he?
25:35He's not in hospital anymore.
25:37That's amazing.
25:37I'm really, really happy about that.
25:39That's like a massive way off my shoulders.
25:43Sick.
25:44I was so worried and distracted by it all.
25:46It was the biggest relief to know that he was okay.
25:54Because this routine is by far the most complex,
25:58the instructors have wheeled out the tuition big guns.
26:02Blindfolded choreography.
26:03I don't like this at all.
26:05Do you feel it?
26:06That's a magic.
26:07This teaches them to learn their positions without even looking.
26:11Well, that's the plan anyway.
26:13Yeah, it was good to let loose.
26:19It was good to sort of do the choreo in more of a fun way.
26:22Yeah, I think we'd sort of drilled it and hammered it out for the last week or so.
26:26I said, come on, come on.
26:28I said, come on, come on, come on.
26:30Where is everything?
26:31Where is everything?
26:32It was really good fun.
26:33It was absolute chaos.
26:35I said, come on, come on.
26:36I said, come on, come on.
26:38There was one point where Oli just, I guess, completely lost where the front was.
26:46He was just in the back corner by himself.
26:49This right here is a classic.
26:51I've begun the choreo.
26:52This training is really hard, but it's also so fun.
26:57I think today it was really needed because we've had quite a tough week, you know, a lot
27:01of like intense kind of deep discussions.
27:03It was really nice just to have some fun and just kid about and like genuine, just like
27:08genuine laughter.
27:11This right here is a classic, classic.
27:14I can't breathe from the looks of crying, that is so funny.
27:21With positioning sort of nailed, there is only one day left until the performance.
27:26This is their final vocal rehearsal with Jinyoung Jang.
27:29Do you feel it, that's the magic, baby this right here is a classic, going number one.
27:37And Reese's vocals are under the spotlight.
27:39This right here is a classic, classic.
27:42Reese.
27:43The pitch on le.
27:46The pitch on le.
27:47Classic.
27:48Classic.
27:49Classic.
27:50Classic.
27:51Classic.
27:52Classic.
27:53Classic.
27:54Just watch the pitch.
27:56Classic.
27:57I think Reese is the best singer in the band.
27:59But hitting those high notes, especially when you're dancing, is really hard.
28:02We got, we got what they want and that's best.
28:05So everybody sing along.
28:07Do you feel it, that's the magic.
28:10I literally could not hit two of the major notes in the song.
28:14We got, we got what they want and that's best.
28:17So everybody sing along.
28:19Do you feel it, that's the magic.
28:22Take it, it's the magic, it's the magic, it's the magic.
28:26It's okay.
28:27It's okay.
28:28He keeps saying it's okay.
28:29It's not okay.
28:30But it is okay.
28:31So don't, don't be in your head to a chair.
28:34Okay.
28:35I'm gonna try one more time.
28:37Until we're satisfied, we just have to practice.
28:41We were doing it over and over again.
28:44And I could see that Reese was getting frustrated.
28:46Come on.
28:47And we bring it right back.
28:48We got, we got what they want and that's best.
28:51So everybody sing along.
28:53Do you feel it, that's the magic.
28:56Let's take a five minute break.
29:24Let's take a five minute break.
29:29Rhys was really upset.
29:32But we all knew he wouldn't give up.
29:34You can't do it here. It has to be here.
29:48Come on, Rhys!
29:54Right there.
29:55You just have to be more confident and then just go for it.
29:58Right, right, right.
29:59It's okay.
30:01No one's gonna say anything. Just go for it.
30:03Do you feel it? That's the magic.
30:06Baby, this run here is a classic.
30:09Going number one, automatic.
30:12Make you wanna turn it up, turn it up.
30:14Gonna sing it at you.
30:18Yeah!
30:19Everyone in the room were all just like,
30:24wow, like, no way, like, that sounded amazing.
30:27And it was like, like I said, it's like he's had it.
30:30He's had it in him.
30:31He's just kind of like unlocking that confidence to do it.
30:36Just like that.
30:38When I finally cracked it, it felt really good.
30:40It was amazing.
30:42But I definitely needed more practice and self-belief
30:45if I was to nail it the next day at the performance.
30:51Since arriving in Seoul,
30:52there's been one K-pop band the boys love above all others.
30:56And in the minibus,
30:57they're about to get the message they've always dreamed of.
31:00Everyone cheers! Everyone cheers!
31:02Do you James, Dexter, Oli?
31:04No!

33:27Don't do that to yourself
33:30All you can do is your best

36:57It was a very tough week for all of us, definitely the toughest for me.
37:02I had my little breakdown this week, under the pressure, you know, that many people in the room
37:09and just having to hit it and I did struggle with, you know, one or two notes.
37:14She makes me nervous because I know how much power she has and I value her opinion.
37:21And I think her yes feels like 50 people saying yes.
37:35Hello.
37:52In the past week, there were a lot of things in the past.
38:00How did you talk about Glaze?
38:07It's been really nice.
38:09Getting to that deeper level with us.
38:11I feel like it brought us a lot closer.
38:14I feel like it was a lot better.
38:24I feel like it was a lot better.
38:35It was a lot better.
38:37And I feel like it was a lot better.
38:39I feel like it was a lot better.
38:43I feel like it was a lot better.
38:53Oliver was...
38:57It was a lot better than me.
39:01But...
39:02Oliver was a lot better than me.
39:04Oliver was a little bit confident.
39:07But...
39:09But...
39:10But...
39:11Even if it was a lot more...
39:14It was a lot better.
39:15It was a lot better.
39:17I can do it.
39:21Yes.
39:22Yes.
39:23Yes.
39:24I feel like here...
39:27Yes.
39:28He was very high but...
39:29I think that when we were started...
39:31He was very happiness for the show away.
39:34He was really good.
39:35He made a lic nitrΓ³ much.
39:36I needed space now.
39:38Anyway, Ω„ΩŠ HIηš„ζ—Άε€™ has a little exercise.
39:39Yes.
39:40So, for example, he had to do not try to understand...
39:43He had a little energy...
39:44But he did, that to do not make a sense...
39:47He doesn't do so.
39:48He would not push the voice.
39:49My voice itself.
39:50Yes.
39:51Yes.
39:52And the reason is that she can all be able to do well.
40:10That's why when I practice it, I don't have to cry and cry.
40:19The process is so long, it's been a long time.
40:25If I try once, it's done, but I don't have to do it.
40:32I have to keep going and keep going.
40:38But if it's so easy, everyone has been a star and a great artist.
40:47It's not anyone who can be.
40:55If you cry and get angry, that's what it's called.
41:02It's a baby.
41:05It's all grown up.
41:17It's a very hard time.
41:26It's because of the texture.
41:29Every time you move a little closer to me.
41:31Next song, please.
41:33Can you feel the fire?
41:35Okay.
41:36Next song, please.
41:38But it's not the fourth song.
41:41It's just the next song.
41:43It's not the first song, it's like a song, it's a song.
41:51It makes a lot more Japanese songs.
41:53It's a very weird song.
41:57It's just the song that we got here.
