00:00I don't go nowhere where gay is illegal because they're going to be like, we got one on this plane.
00:05It's MPB, F-A-G, scroll down memory lane with the one and only me.
00:09I'm Nicole Paige Brooks from Atlanta, Georgia. Welcome to Scroll Patrol.
00:13We're going to be looking at some of my old photos.
00:17Going through my phone and seeing what I should have deleted.
00:22One major difference between me, season two, and All-Stars 10 is I'm a married woman now.
00:30Happily married. I say I downloaded them because I woke up one morning and I was like, I'm ready to date.
00:35So I tweeted out, I'm ready to date again.
00:38And then, okay, Cupid tweeted to me, Nicole, if you do, we'll put you on the A-list.
00:43And I guess that's like all the free stuff or whatever.
00:45And I was like, sure.
00:46So I was like, I don't want to be on one of those butthole sites where they just greet you with their wrong directions.
00:52You know what I mean? I don't want to see any of that.
00:54See, I kind of catfished them because whenever I went to Brandy's wedding, I had like three weeks off and I never had that much time off.
01:02So I grew a little goatee and that was my profile picture because I didn't want anybody that knew Nicole.
01:07All my adult relationships were through Nicole.
01:09So my next one I wanted to be sure wasn't because of Nicole.
01:13So I thought I was catfishing him, but he said he was looking for the most feminine person.
01:18And he picked me because he thought that would mean that I was the bottom.
01:22He was wrong.
01:24So we chatted a little bit.
01:26He was talking about how he was short and I was like, oh, I love that short.
01:28He's like, I'm so short.
01:30I'm like, great, perfect.
01:30I love short guys.
01:31And then my mother was in the hospital.
01:33She had a kidney stone and like she has a headache.
01:35She wants to go to the hospital.
01:36So I was like, I'm at the hospital with my mom.
01:39He was like, well, I'm coming up to the hospital then because I'm meeting you today.
01:43It was Pearl Harbor Day.
01:46My mom was like, just get out of here.
01:48She doesn't like me at the hospital anyway.
01:49I asked the doctors too many questions.
01:51So she was like, get go on your date.
01:53So I met him at my best friend, Jan, was a bartender at six feet under.
01:59So we met there and I was the first person he's ever been on a date with.
02:05He was my first online date and we've been together ever since.
02:07I tried to keep Nicole's fame to a minimum as long as possible with him.
02:13Because I didn't really know what his reaction was.
02:14But he knew I did drag because I put a performer in my profile.
02:20But he didn't know to the extent that I did drag.
02:24Our first date, he's like, why are all these people so nice to you?
02:26I was like, oh, I do drag and I performed here before, you know.
02:29And then a couple of hours into it, his sister was like,
02:33I think that's a really famous drag queen you're on a date with.
02:36And I was like, don't Google me.
02:40I was like, tell your sister not to be Googling me.
02:42But I was able to keep it to like a minimum for about maybe two or three weeks before he caught on that it was more than what it is.
02:50But, you know, he's a little worried about, he thought this was going to make us so famous that people were going to be outside of our house and stuff like that.
02:57And I'm like, babe, it's gay famous.
02:59Only if we go to gay spots will I be recognized.
03:03I said, if we go to a regular restaurant, nobody's going to be screaming and hollering at us.
03:08He's like, we're not going to be able to go out to eat anymore.
03:09I'm like, no, we'll be fine.
03:12I was like, I'm not.
03:14It's not going to be like that.
03:15That's us in Paris, taking selfies.
03:20And I was like, nobody's going to recognize me on this trip.
03:23And he's like, oh, he's like, oh, really?
03:24I said, I doubt that anybody's going to recognize you.
03:26And we were just talking and somebody comes around the corner.
03:29Nicole Paige Brooks.
03:32And I'm like, what?
03:34I heard your voice around the corner.
03:36I was like, what?
03:40But it was like cool because then they like became our like tour guide for the whole weekend that we were there.
03:44So that was kind of nice.
03:46He loves to travel.
03:47And I mean, so do I.
03:49He was courting me with all these trips.
03:50We don't do those no more.
03:51Like he took me to Italy, girl.
03:53And this was like, I think this was a test.
03:55Because he was like over the hills and through the woods, bus trains, we landed, got on a bus, went all this way.
04:02Then we had to like walk to this other train thing.
04:04And then we got on another train and another bus and then we had to walk over all these.
04:08And, you know, Italy is like cobblestones up and over, up and over cobblestones.
04:13And then we get like all the way to this thing.
04:15And that's when he looks at this big old fancy train station or whatever.
04:19And he's like, yeah, we could have just taken a train straight from the airport to this thing.
04:22I'm like, what?
04:24I was like, I'm going to have to cuss this man out, but I don't know how to get back home.
04:28I was like, what the?
04:30I was like, this was a test, honey.
04:32And then we went into this lovely hotel and slept for two days because we were exhausted.
04:35Say hi, babe.
04:37Say happy birthday, Jeremiah.
04:39Happy birthday, Jeremiah.
04:41The only thing that gives me comfort when we travel is like, I need to see other fags, other sissies.
04:45You know what I mean?
04:45Like, take me to the gay spot.
04:47Because if I see them, then I'm like, okay, I'm not the only, I'm not the gayest thing in town.
04:51Otherwise, I'm like, I'm the gayest thing in town.
04:54So I need, you know, my husband kind of can do his work for us in the past, but girl, I'm on an airplane.
05:02They're like, we got one on this flight.
05:04You know what I mean?
05:04I don't go nowhere where gay is illegal because they're going to be like, we got one on this plane.
05:09If we touch down, we got us a live one right here.
05:11So I do not do anything where gay is even halfway illegal.
05:14And he works for an airline.
05:16He kept, like, proposing with his benefits.
05:18Like, I did two things.
05:20Like, if we were married, you can go to the dentist.
05:21I'm like, did you just propose with your benefits?
05:24And then he was like, oh, back problems.
05:26Oh, you can go to the chiropractor if you're married.
05:28I'm like, is that another benefits proposal?
05:31So, of course, we were traveling everywhere.
05:34And this picture is at Versailles.
05:37And when we woke up that morning, I went down.
05:40And this is when Kanye and Kim were still together.
05:43And he wasn't.
05:44Hey, cutie.
05:48There's my new home.
05:49So we went down to Concierge and I was like, where did they get married?
05:52Because that's where he's going to propose today.
05:54And Jeremiah was like, I'm proposing.
05:55I was like, yeah, we're going to get a proper proposal today.
05:58And he's like, oh, there's this gazebo, the Temple of Love in Queen Antoinette's little area.
06:04So that's this Temple of Love.
06:05And there's this couple walking behind us.
06:06And I was like, do you mind taking a little video?
06:09He's about to propose.
06:10And we walked up there.
06:11And I was like, just get down on one knee and look up.
06:14And I'm going to say yes.
06:15And then I can screenshot the video.
06:17So on our one-year anniversary, we went back to the restaurant that we met at.
06:22And Jan, my best friend, was his best man.
06:25And then Brandy, who you've seen in some of the previous photos, was my best man at the wedding.
06:29And my friend Bubba Delicious, who's an ordained minister and a drag queen in Atlanta, married us at the restaurant we met at.
06:37Yeah.
06:37And we've been together ever since.
06:39Bought a house during COVID.
06:40And yeah, that's my baby.
06:42I love him.
06:43We have two dogs, too.
06:45I have to mention our babies.
06:46My drag children, my children, they'd be jealous if I called the dogs the children.
06:50They'd get rid of them dogs real quick.
06:53What?
06:53You have a new child?
06:55We have Lucy, who is a Cocker Spaniel, because my mother collects Cocker Spaniels.
07:01But then she got this baby Cocker Spaniel, because she always thinks she wants a young one.
07:04And it was driving her nuts.
07:05And she's like, I'm getting rid of this Cocker Spaniel.
07:07And I was like, let me just take the Cocker Spaniel for you.
07:11And whenever you're ready for it, or we train it and get it all lovey-dovey.
07:14But then my husband fell in love with it and was like, she's never getting this dog back.
07:17And I was like, babe, we promised that we're just going to make it lovey-dovey for her.
07:21So then when she was ready for it, she knew my husband wasn't giving it up.
07:26So she went out and got her another dog, which is like a more mature dog.
07:30So it's, but it still makes her crazy.
07:32And then we were like, this little dog is not a security dog.
07:36So we thought we'd get a more scarier, intimidating dog.
07:41So my husband was like, if you could get a big dog, what would it be, babe?
07:44And I was like, a Doberman Pinscher would be sickening.
07:47I'm thinking about her photos and shit.
07:48I'm not really thinking he's ordering a dog.
07:50And then I come in the room.
07:51He's like, do you like this one or this one?
07:52I'm like, what are you talking about, this one or this one?
07:54And we got that stupid dog.
07:57I mean, we love her, Wanda.
07:59And she chews everything.
08:02She can reach up on top of the counters and pull the whole loaf of bread down
08:05for both of them to share.
08:07She can get your fresh bag of gummies that you just bought and chew them up and then throw
08:14up on top of the bag.
08:16So you can't even see if there's one in there for you.
08:18She can eat your whole couch and then you cover it with blankets.
08:23And it looks like you're in some crash pad.
08:26And then your husband's like, let's get a new couch.
08:28I'm like, she's just going to eat that one.
08:30He's like, we'll cover it with blankets.
08:31I'm like, so now our new couch is just covered with blankets.
08:33So she doesn't eat that.
08:34She ate a chair.
08:35She ate that coat that I got proposed in.
08:38She eats everything.
08:39And we feed her well.
08:41But she's very scary.
08:42So don't come to my house because she'll probably eat you too.
08:45Oh, Jeremiah knows her age.
08:46Just I'm not one of those people.
08:48I have two dogs.
08:51I don't know how old they are.
08:52We don't do birthdays.
08:53Jeremiah's like, oh, it's one of them.
08:54I'm like, you don't celebrate my birthday like that.
08:55We're not doing it for these dogs.
08:57No, ma'am.
08:59No, ma'am.
08:59They better not have gotten nothing for their birthday
09:01because I don't get nothing for my birthday.
09:05But I love my baby.
09:06And the worst thing about this is that I'm away from him so much,
09:09you know, but he's happy to see me when I get home.
09:14I love you, Jeremiah.
09:15I don't think I said his name.
09:17I just say my husband all the time.
