00:45it's a wonderful excuse to be camp to be over the top to celebrate christmas i am a christmas girl

00:52and so i'm very happy to be included in tinseltown i know it's so amazing to see movie star i know

00:58the movie is about me isn't it at first i was like do i have a big role or a small role in

01:02this film and then i was like i think i'm the central character actually i'm the main character

01:07of tinseltown you're always been in character for me yeah anyway regardless you could always

01:12steal the show it's actually quite unfair on the other actors remain like well i don't have any

01:16scenes with rebel wilson and i think that's because it would have been too sexy i think so a lot like

01:22distracting for the dads who have boxes to dismantle around christmas time they gotta get trees out

01:27of the loft you know we it was it would have changed the rating of the film as well but i think

01:32we need to get you together on like a tiktok or something we need to break the internet i feel

01:36you and rebel i feel like you're similar i know game recognized game i have loved and respected rebel

01:41wilson and to see my name anywhere near hers in a film i'm like is my christmas miracle come true

02:21yeah i like i i'm you know i think what christmas represents and its potential is bringing together

02:27family and friends uh and so yeah so i'm you know i always enjoy the that time of year and i think

02:34everybody has so much hope uh around christmas and so i love that and i love this film i love the fact

02:40that we're seeing the panto i mean it's such a big thing for us here in the uk how much did you know

02:45about pantos before you i thought i knew a little bit but i didn't um you know and so it was it was a

02:50real it was a wonderful experience kind of we did a production of cinderella within the context of our

02:55film we performed that for an audience uh and so the call and response between the audience and the

03:00players on stage uh i really adored that i thought that was a lot of fun breaking down that kind of

03:06that fifth wall if you will and so it's it's uh yeah i just enjoyed it you think you'd be partial

03:12to a panto now do you think you would you would do one now well now that i realize you know almost

03:1790 of it is just willingness to be silly uh yeah once you let go of that then then i think it's quite

03:24enjoyable so you never know and i heard this movie was built off the back of gregs is this true

03:29um i don't know about that but you know the hero for a day moment that i had was when i

03:35organized the greg's van to come uh and and take care of the crew and the cast yeah and so

03:42so that made me hero for a day always you know listen i have to say pete behind the camera here

03:48is a massive 24 fan oh thank you brother he's obsessed with him jack bauer is there anything new

03:54on the developments of him coming back yeah howard gordon who is the lead writer for 24 for the years

04:00that i was there along with joel surnow uh um howard come up with something that i think is a really

04:07credible idea i think it's really smart and i think it's interesting and it uh would be an effort

04:12to kind of resolve the story of jack bauer and so we'll see what happens it get passed on and then

04:17uh then it has to go through corporate kind of progression to be approved and we'll see what happens

04:24if you imagine like a jack bauer panto how fun would that be i think it would be explosive it would

05:03movie here so you know what our climate's like now we've filmed tinseltown in up in leeds and

05:08surrounding areas in february it was it was brutally cold and listen i love that this focuses on a panto

05:16how familiar were you with how much you love pantos in the uk like pantos are insane do you know what i

05:23learned from doing the movie is that a lot of theaters in this country the only reason they can stay

05:28open is because they make money during the panto season so that the popularity of pantos keeps these

05:35theaters open all year which i think is like i didn't realize that but i love it i think it's a

05:40great tradition i think it's also a lot of people's entryway into coming into the theater um which is

05:45so fun so i can't wait to take my daughter well listen would you be partial to a pantone or would you

05:49think no i have been offered i don't know whether because i was in this movie but yes i was offered uh

05:54this year but i've been very busy directing another movie so so i can't do it this year but maybe again

05:59i wouldn't say no i heard they pay great it would sell out i would still be there yeah but listen i

06:04heard you also put croydon on the map as well yeah talk to me about that well i filmed as part of my

06:10movie girl group in croydon and then i heard taylor swift recently had to film there as well and i'd

06:16like to believe that i started the trend with that uh shout out to everybody in croydon uh you guys

06:22epic and thank you for coming along and cheering cheering for our movie you are an absolute icon

06:27i can't wait honestly for the pan to please do it one day i'll be there front row sat oh thank you so

06:46crazy first time on the red carpet i'm super excited and nervous well tell us about your character and

06:51this thing who do you play i play emma brad's daughter keefer's daughter she's a really like

06:57bubbly kind of jolly kind of girl and she i think between me and keefer i think she's the adult in

07:03this situation i love that what was it like to work with then to work with keefer yeah well he was a

07:11really like one of honestly so kind one of the nicest people i've ever met really prepared and he

07:16taught me a lot of stuff like how to be patient and like prepare for big scenes and i prepared to do

07:22the tapes like so many times but yeah and did you get to have some scenes with rebel as well oh yes i

07:28had a few scenes rebel and teddy williams and how was that it was amazing both really nice people

07:34i enjoyed working them so much such a brilliant opportunity amazing well thank you so much you

07:38smashed and you look gorgeous thank you thank you you look beautiful ida i love that dress it's gorgeous

07:54a suit sorry it's beautiful comfortable and chic and chic and chic well yeah true true how are you

08:24it's all happening about your upcoming tour what's that look like what darling you've got a tour in

08:372026 right well i actually i've just announced it and i shouldn't have uh yeah i was i was showing off

08:45i was letting people know that i'm not just famous in england that's what i was doing

08:49subconsciously and now i realize consciously that's what i was doing there may be a tour but

08:54it's not here i did one in the summer it went really well i played the emirates and a few other

08:59places and it was wonderful you're doing the battle lands as well though aren't you in glasgow i am

09:05yeah i've got a little tour yeah i've got a little tour i'm doing the barrel lands and i'm doing

09:10and i'm doing brixton okay i forgot about that one yeah no i'm doing uh my first album live through a

09:17lens from beginning to end and then i'm playing my new album that's coming out in february from beginning

09:22to end and hopefully people will stay for the second bit of the show what's inspired this new

09:26album what's inspired this new album just nothing's really inspired it other than an

09:34it's what you know it's like i'm a horse in a field and sometimes the horse gallops and then

09:40sometimes the horse stands still sometimes the horse grazes i'm just a horse doing stuff that's it

11:30compassionate and empathic she is she's a she's a sensitive and um yeah i'm i'm super proud of just

11:38her and then this is icing i honestly get so emotional every time i listen to love my life

11:44because obviously you've written that about them i mean 13 years ago yeah do you still feel emotional

11:49when you sing that yeah i do you know i wrote a song 13 years ago when teddy arrived called um

11:54um uh it goes uh all your life i'm gonna be there i'm gonna be there yes i will and like every time
