Bored to Tears was an indie rock band based in Starkville Mississippi who formed in September of 2022 between four students who played throughout their college careers. In June of 2025, the band went on a final tour through the southeast and midwest United States as a farewell to the band as all members planned to disperse after graduation. While on the road, the band was joined by friends in Smokies and Morning Dew on subsequent legs of the tour before closing out the tour and the band as whole.
After a prolonged goodbye, the two bands parted ways as Bored to Tears went on to Bloomington where they were introduced to scene that reminded them of home.
