Demi Lovato on Thursday took to Instagram to share that she is set to sing the National Anthem at the 2020 Super Bowl on Feb. 2 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

00:142020 Super Bowl. Lovato took to Instagram to share the exciting news alongside a
00:19glamorous promo pic, writing,
00:25Lovato is set to kick off the big game with the star-spangled banner at Miami's
00:29Hard Rock Stadium before Jennifer Lopez and Shakira take the stage for their highly
00:33anticipated dual halftime performance. The pop star hasn't performed live since 2018's
00:38Tell Me You Love Me world tour, which concluded before she was hospitalized for a drug
00:43overdose July of that year. She immediately sought treatment and has since talked about
00:47her sobriety. Her most recent single, Sober, was also released in 2018.
00:52The 2019 Super Bowl featured Gladys Knight singing the national anthem while Pink
00:56performed the star-spangled banner in 2018. Past national anthem performers also include
01:01Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Luke Bryan and the late
01:07Whitney Houston among others. Super Bowl 54 is set to kick off Sunday, February 2nd at 6.30
