00:09relationship with Swift, who he dated for over six years. Alwyn opened up when he was asked if
00:15he ever feared whether his relationship with Swift would overshadow his career.
00:19I've tried just to focus on controlling what I can control, and right from the beginning,
00:23tried to focus on the things that are meaningful for me. Friends, family, work, of course. So
00:28noise outside of that. I think I've done what lots of people who find themselves in the public I do,
00:33which is just try and ignore it. He continued, I have great family and friends and real things in
00:38my life. Those are the things that kept me tethered to the ground. Alwyn also noted that he has moved
00:43on, but perhaps the public hasn't. That's something for other people to do. We're talking about
00:48something that's a while ago now in my life. So that's for other people. That's what I feel.
00:53Alwyn had first broken his silence about their breakup over a year after the relationship ended.
00:57While sitting down with the Sunday Times-style magazine, Alwyn told the publication,
01:02I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that
01:06come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years.
01:11Swift has since been in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelsey,
01:16notably attending his games and even joining each other in their respective fields,
01:20such as Swift cheering on Kelsey after his team's Super Bowl win last year,
01:23and Kelsey attending Swift's massive heiress tour.
