Transcript
00:00Prince William and Prince Harry reunited to unveil a statue of their late mother, Princess Diana.
00:05The statue was unveiled as part of a ceremony held at London's Kensington Palace Thursday on what would have been Diana's 60th birthday.
00:13Diana's family joined the two brothers for the ceremony at the palace's sunken garden, a place in which the princess once found solace.
00:20This marked the first time the brothers have appeared together in public since the funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip, who died in April.
00:26The two brothers later issued a joint statement which read,
00:29Today on what would have been our mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength, and character, qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.
00:39They continued,
00:40Every day we wish you were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.
00:47The brothers went on to thank the sculptor, the landscape architect who designed the garden that features the statue, and quote,
00:52All those around the world who keep our mother's memory alive.
