00:08It's summer, which means you're getting outdoors and hanging by the pool,
00:11or staying inside and binging lots and lots of Netflix.
00:15And you might be sitting on your couch a little bit longer,
00:18because a new batch of TV shows and movies hits the streaming service in August,
00:22including season two of the drama series that earned Jason Bateman a 2018 Emmy nomination, Ozark.
00:28From Netflix originals to modern classic movies to fan-favorite TV series,
00:32here's what's coming to Netflix in August.
00:35Original series premiering on the streaming service include the dark and satirical high school comedy
00:39starring Debbie Ryan, Insatiable, as well as Disenchantment,
00:43a new animated series from the creator of The Simpsons.
00:46On the film's side, Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer play dad and daughter in the Netflix original movie,
00:51Like Father.
00:52Rachel, it's dad!
00:54Oh my god, Harry, you're insane. Thank you.
00:56Yeah, great to, yeah, good hanging.
00:58Great, okay.
00:59Meanwhile, Lily James plays a journalist in the World War II-set Netflix film,

01:07Netflix will debut more than 40 new originals in August, including films, series, and docs like
01:13I'm a Killer, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, All About the Washingtons, and many more.
01:18Some beloved movies also hit the streaming giant this month.
01:21Starting on August 1st, you can watch The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring,
01:25Gran Torino, and Million Dollar Baby, because there's no such thing as too much Clint Eastwood.
01:31Plus, there's more Hilary Swank where that came from with PS I Love You, then Steel Magnolias,
01:36a little bit of Leonardo DiCaprio in The Aviator, some Matt Damon in The Informant,
01:40and a whole lot of Christian Bale in Batman Begins.

01:47And for all my fellow Genovians, The Princess Diaries 2 Royal Engagement also drops August 1st.

02:08The 100 Season 5, The Good Place Season 2, Young and Hungry Season 5, and The Originals Season 5.

02:17And as always, there are some movies and shows that will be leaving the streaming service this month,
02:23including Finding Dory, Can't Buy Me Love, The Killing Seasons 1-3, For a Good Time Call,
