00:05The artist canceled her planned performances in Washington, D.C. and New York this weekend
00:10as part of the All Things Go Festival. The artist took to her Instagram story to share the news,
00:15writing, I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me in New York City and D.C.
00:19this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform. Things have gotten overwhelming over
00:24the past few weeks, and I am really feeling it. She continued, I feel pressures to prioritize a
00:29lot of things right now, and I need a few days to prioritize my health. I want to be present when
00:33I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding. Be back soon.
00:38The cancellation comes on the heels of Rhone receiving backlash online when she said she
00:42doesn't feel pressured to endorse Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election
00:48because, quote, there's problems on both sides. The Hot To Go singer then clarified her comments
00:53after some criticized her for not encouraging her fan base to vote, and others claiming she was
00:58a secret Trump supporter. F*** the policies of the right, but also f*** some of the policies on
01:03the left. That's why I can't endorse. However, she did share that she was, quote, voting for Kamala.
01:10Yeah, I'm voting for f***ing Kamala. F*** Trump. F***ing real, but f*** some of the s*** that has
01:16gone down in the Democratic Party that has failed people like me and you. The singer also recently
01:21opened up about some people overstepping boundaries with the artist and working to find a balance
01:26between her health and career. My brain is like, quit right now, take next year off. This industry
01:32and artistry thrive on mental illness, burnout, overworking yourself, overextending yourself,
01:37not sleeping. You get bigger the more unhealthy you are. Isn't that so f***ed up? The ambition is,
01:42how do I not hate myself, my job, my life, and do this? Because right now it's not working.
01:48I'm just scrambling to try to feel healthy. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the
