00:32Mark Cherry, who created Desperate Housewives, is not currently involved in the new project,
00:36but sources say he could come aboard in the future.
00:39Desperate Housewives starred Terry Hatcher, Marsha Cross, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, and Nicolette Sheridan.
00:45The show was an immediate blockbuster for ABC when it premiered in the fall of 2004.
00:50The series ranked in the Nielsen Top 10 for each of its first five seasons
00:53and was still a solid performer when it ended in 2012 after eight seasons and 180 episodes.
00:59The show won seven Emmys.
