00:30Ever since the Better Sister show came out
00:39people have been asking about the Jessica Biel back and arms workout
00:42and for good reason
00:43but the truth is while she definitely does plenty of work on her back and arms
00:47her workouts aren't split up into back day, arm day, and so on
00:50She does full body workouts that combine upper body exercises
00:54lower body exercises, core work
00:56and a bunch of things that work everything all at once
00:58to maximize efficiency
00:59Side note, but this is also a great way to do it
01:02if you don't want to do a bunch of extra cardio too
01:04but back to back and arms
01:05Jess is super strong and loves to push herself
01:08but she's not so interested in lifting super super heavy weights
01:11at this point in her life
01:12so we find other ways to make it challenging and keep it fresh
01:15There are lots of different moves here for you to try
01:18and they're all great
01:19but it's important to know that we don't do all these moves
01:21in the same workout or even close really
01:23In a given workout, she normally does one exercise for the back
01:27which also works the biceps
01:28one exercise for shoulders and one exercise for triceps
01:32plus some other moves for legs and abs sprinkled in
01:34It's also important to remember that it's impossible to maintain peak physical condition
01:39all the time
01:40and the super tone physique you see on screen isn't maintainable all year round
01:44Jess knows that
01:45so she spends most of the year working out consistently
01:48but not crazy by any means
01:50let's call it 7 out of 10 hard
01:52and then if there's ever a time she needs to look her absolute best
01:55she'll ramp it up for a few weeks
01:56and then go back to normal afterwards
01:58and then go back to normal afterwards
