Khloe Kardashian Addressed Her Attention-Grabbing New Look

00:05But a few recent photos were not received as she probably expected, and Khloé's response

00:10to backlash to her selfies is right on brand for the snarky reality star.

00:15Khloé shared a trio of pictures to Instagram on May 22, 2020.

00:19They're simple shots of her, hair down and wavy in a corset top.

00:23She added the caption,

00:25Location, under, b-----in Everyone in the Kardashian universe seemed to love the pics.

00:32Her BFF, Malika Haack, for example, wrote,

00:35Go off!

00:36And her mom, Kris Jenner, wrote,

00:38My gorgeous girl, wow!

00:40Still, many people criticized the photos, given that they looked highly edited and Khloé just

00:45doesn't look like she normally does.

00:48Celebs often edit their photos, but Khloé might have overdone it this time around.

00:52The reactions to Khloé's selfies were all over the place.

00:55Ira Madison went as far as to say on the Keep It podcast that she looks Caucasian in a way

01:01that the Kardashian sisters usually don't.

01:04Many fans even suggested that she had plastic surgery while quarantining due to coronavirus,

01:09which is slightly absurd given that non-essential surgeries have been canceled or postponed during

01:13the pandemic.

01:18So when Khloé posted another selfie just days later and someone asked her why she looks

01:24so different in all of her photos, she was ready with a comeback, saying,

01:31Some people probably think the Kardashian and Jenner sisters actually do get weekly face

01:35transplants.

01:36In fact, certain people responded to Khloé's retort suggesting that she was hiding something.

01:41According to In The Know, one commenter wrote,

01:44She's probably sarcastically telling the truth.

01:47What is up your ass?

01:49Every time Khloé posts a picture, the internet explodes with body-shaming haters, making it

01:54seem like she really can't do anything right.

01:56People call her out for her weight, and then they also call her out for trying to lose weight.

02:01Like on her show Revenge Body, which follows the arguably questionable premise that after

02:05a breakup, the most important thing to do is lose weight and tighten up your body.

02:09Khloé is open about the topic of body image and how it's evolved, telling W Magazine,

02:14I think Kate were something that I could have been.

02:17When I was younger, I was a lot chubbier and a lot rounder than I am today.

02:21I always thought, who can I look up to?

02:24Then J.Lo came along, and I was like, ah.

02:28Khloé admitted to the magazine that growing up, weight was always an issue for her.

02:33She said,

02:34My family never made me feel less than.

02:36My sisters and I all looked different.

02:38I didn't know that I was bigger or different than them until I started doing our TV show.

02:43I started to be in the public eye and people were able to pick me apart.

02:47I really commend my mom and my sisters for never making me feel less than."

02:51From what she says, Khloé really doesn't take fan comments about her new look into consideration

02:56beyond leaving a snarky comment or two on social media.

02:59In a June 1, 2020 report, a source told Us Weekly that Khloé thinks she looks great.

03:05The insider explained,

03:06Khloé doesn't care about the backlash she's been getting from fans, saying she doesn't

03:11look like herself in her recent photos.

03:13The source reportedly added that as long as Khloé is happy and in good spirits, she doesn't

03:18care what people are saying about her.

03:20Still, it's possible she cares at least a little bit, considering she's checking fan comments

03:25and even responding to them with sarcasm or jokes.

03:28If Khloé truly didn't want to hear anyone's opinions, she could always disable the comments

03:32instead, especially considering that she and her sisters know that people will have something

03:36to say about anything they post.

03:38But then again, what fun is posting a selfie if you're just gonna disable the comments?
