15:42His own sperm or whatever to create these these superhuman kids that could be used for neferous
15:49Means by the government. I don't know that's there's a lot of questions regarding that one
15:54Um, you know, I do appreciate this episode actually like like toning it down some a little bit because like I said before in my in the previous episode
16:02If you haven't seen that one already
16:04That was probably one of the best episodes of strange things I've ever seen from an actual standpoint every every aspect and this one is kind of like
16:12Turned down some of the intensity
16:14He's um and allowed us to kind of like focus a little bit more on a little bit more backstory. I guess I guess what we're looking for
16:20I mean, it starts off pretty easy with
16:23With the kids like running running through the desert trying to trying to get away with the with the dead agent and then trying to get the
16:30Information so they can get in contact with 11
16:33That was pretty good. You know, I got a chance to see my boy the stoner dude
16:37That that runs the pizza shop and is also the the delivery boy as well
16:41So we also got a good opportunity to take a look at what's going on with that was his name Jeff Josh Jim

16:52We also get opportunity to take a look at Jim and see the kind of you know
16:55Messed up situation that he's in because there's some kind of random beast or something behind a wall that's been jacking people up and leaving hands because
17:03Leaving hands is a good indication that you don't want to mess with whatever it is behind door number one, but he's not there by himself
17:08He's there with the old prison guard guy who's trying to you know, still finesse his way out by using some of his old connections
17:14But we did get a really good like dialogue monologue
17:18Backstory drop with Jim regarding like why he feels that he is like a burden to everybody else and then he is in fact the curse
17:25And that is that he was a kid that was stirring up agent orange in case you don't know agent orange
17:30was a
17:31Forceding agent that was used during
17:34Vietnam in order to stop the guerrilla warfare of hiding in the bushes in the in the jungle
17:40It destroyed all the jungle so people could be easily seen and find out years later that agent orange is causing cancer
17:46For a lot of the for anybody that was associated with it
17:49Mixing it being around it while it was being sprayed a lot of soldiers died
17:53He was a part of that project and his kid died as a result of that
17:56So he feels like he's kind of like been cursed right and if everything he touches and loves like turns to ash
18:02And we figure out his why and his and his why is also
18:06Well his why as far as like why he's about to stop because he seems like he's done
18:10You ready to roll over and just let death happen to him
18:12But we have this this the the prison guard who is
18:17You know first off he ain't about that. I'm about to give up and die life and he's like, you know
18:21I'm ready to do whatever it takes in order to to get done, right?
18:26so he's like trying to bribe people but then he also realizes that they're gonna have to fight whatever that that beast is
18:31That's in the that's at the bottom of the the bottom of the prison. I over transition all the way back to
18:37who is a Joyce and
18:40I always forget the dude's name man
18:43The the conspiracy to get there a guy keep calling that until I can think of something think of his real name
18:47Oh, anyways, I like the fact that we know up front that he is a black belt
18:51We saw him earlier when he was like, you know coming back from practice, whatever it is
18:55He has a very good realization that even though he's only trained with kids the kids can still fight and the principles probably still remain the same
19:02And he's like that little 16-year-old kid could actually fight. I think I really can't take this dude out great fight scene
19:08And then they end up knocking out the pilot and crashing
19:11No idea where that storyline is going to go. That storyline is so disconnected to that and Jim as compared to like the super fun stuff
19:19I'm not saying I don't like it. It's just hasn't we haven't seen how everything connects
19:24But I guess it's safe to say they crashed somewhere in Russia
19:28Probably they're cross over the Berenstrait and now they have to figure out how they're gonna get back from there
19:32They oh, they brought back my old dude crazy Eddie
19:35And he finally got discovered by the by the jock kids and he's got to figure out how to get out of that situation
19:42We're gonna come back to that because the ending kind of ties into it
19:45But here's the thing that I thought was pretty interesting and that is when we've got a chance to look at max and how she's coping with things
19:51Couple things I didn't understand and didn't even realize and that is that she has to consistently have that music playing in order
19:55So that she doesn't fall back into Vecna's trance and that she can write to scale regarding her drawings because they pieced everything together and discover that
20:03It was at the old house of the of the very first guy that was controlled by Vecna
20:09All right, then okay, so we're moving into like more more important details
20:13And that is like what exactly is happening with Eleven and how in the world is she gonna get her powers back?
20:17Initially, I thought I was gonna be like some kind of training montage like they have in Rocky or whatever it is
20:21Or maybe she just takes some pill and everything pops back in but lo and behold they take her to another secret bunker somewhere in the middle of nowhere
20:28Which we thought I thought it was gonna be like area 51 and then she comes across one of the old
20:33The guys that ran it right who they they called Papa and they they actually snatch her up against her will
20:39So we still don't know good guy bad guy
20:42Intense and motives all this other stuff. That's still kind of like up in the air
20:45But there's a whole facility that's dedicated into helping her like get her powers back, which is a little just
20:51Strange and weird and I guess she had to go back to remember who you are the Simba moment remember who you are
20:58They had that her lighten up the lights and she has the moment breaks out and then we see her become her old self again
21:06But there is
21:08Mmm, there's a hook
21:10She can't use her powers on her captor for whatever reason and maybe it's because of the bond that they have maybe
21:16We don't know all the details, but she gave in to the fact that this dude
21:21Pretty much has her and maybe maybe she's doing it as a way to maybe unlock her powers even more
21:26Maybe she's doing it as a way to get more answers as to where she comes from and why she's doing what she's doing
21:30Maybe it's some team up. We don't know. We're gonna find that out a little bit later
21:33But I did like the idea that they went back to the old sensory deprivation tanks that they used like the season one
21:39I think it was season one. I'm sure you'll correct me in the chat if it wasn't season one
21:43And went back to that so maybe we can get like old-school 11 back so all in all, you know really good solid
21:51Episode you know wasn't as crazy as the last previous one because so much information
21:56Was undisclosed but it was still good nonetheless
21:58I did like the fact that we got a chance to see Vector do his thing one more time with one of the one of the other
22:03Basketball players and did it in the middle of the water, right?
22:07So look my no strings, right?
22:09Like there's no better way to convince the captain of the basketball team that this is a supernatural event
22:15I don't know what else is going to do that. So
22:18Maybe he'll get out of that murders on my mind thing and maybe hang out with crazy Eddie to try to solve solve it
22:25Or he may be just so just gun-ho
22:28Into getting his revenge on crazy Eddie that he'll look past it
22:31Maybe he'll still blame Eddie because he thinks that
22:34He controls some of like the darker forces that's been taking some of his friends. I don't know
22:38But we are going to find out relatively soon. You know tons of fun getting ready for episode six
22:44Oh my gosh, we're getting so close to the end of the season
